Buzzy speaker - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 3

I'm having issues with my speaker Idk if it's normal but when volume is it at max or close to max it sounds very buzzy when the audio hits high pitch notes. Anyone else experiencing this or this just my device?
Thank you.

The external speaker of the Note 3 is one of its weakest links - its a known issue. I had to turn my volume down as I thought the speaker would bust, it occured more with male deeper voices than females.
One other thing, when you remove the back cover see if you have a clear film over the speaker, remove this also.

Speaker question.

Okay so I finally installed a new speaker in my evo but they don't sound that loud like the original. Did I do something wrong?

Probably.
Why didnt you just take the phone to a sprint store? Your phone has a 1 year warranty for hardware defects like this.
Depends on where you got your speaker from. Was it O.E.M.? I installed one that I purchased and it sounded like ish, so I bought another. I've since replaced it 2 more times and finally got an O.E.M. one from a member here on xda. There really isn't a "wrong" way to put it in.

There is a wrong way lol when you assume the numbers go right side up you make that mistake. I did that the first time then fixed it. They don't seem as loud but they are clear. I'm still wondering about it though. Bought them from Gc something company. Five of them.

Well yea, there is that way, lol. As long as the contacts are touching you're good. Not hard though. Pretty straight forward.
The music doesn't sound nice like it did in September. Any solutions or do the speakers just suck?

Well its either installed wrong, or the speaker just sucks. The only way to tell is to try a different brand speaker.

Honestly, I wish I could tell you. This last one I put in was a factory speaker straight from another Evo, O.E.M., and it still doesn't sound right. I know its in right, and the same speaker. It does sound better than the bootleg aftermarket one I bought tho.

Whirring sound from Samsung charger

Is this normal?
And should I ask for a replacement?
Over the last 2 weeks I have heard loads of people (including myself) have this problem.
Not sure if its anything to worry about, and getting a replacement is not easy, they have to send it off to a repair centre as if it was a broken phone...

Known issue on these forums, search and you should find another thread about this issue, if it's annoying you contact your local Samsung and ask for a new one.

It's perfectly normal when stepping down the voltage - go and stand near a substation, now they're noisy.

My room is pretty silent all time, just the noise of AC or fans, but just to check this issue I turned them all off and put my ear near to adapter, and there was no sound. Maybe I have the problem and you guys are normal!

No sound here as well

Mine makes noise but only when the phone is near 100% charge. While it's charging it makes no noise. It's almost like a hissing/whining noise.

There is a beats mod in the apps section
Dude.. do you not review products before you buy them?? Beats headphones are a pure marketing ploy. While thy have really good build quality, the sound they output is worth MUCH less than they retail for. We have Beats headphones at work and a few friends have some beats buds. I have a $100 pair of Sonys I bought 3 years ago that blow any of the Beats headphones out of the water.
Do your research. Unless you don't care about sound quality, you have much better alternatives out there.

I have been using the Beats headphones for the HTC on the SII and all functionality works. Mic, pause, volume up and down selections are all working.

To be honest you should really look into Klipsch brand buds they are honestly the best bang for the buck headphones i have ever purchased and they come with a 2 year warranty! Who does that?! I researched and tested many and they have the hands down best sound quality for under 100$ you can hear distintive tones and pitches simultaneously and hear high and lows while having some noise canceling ability.
have stuck to this brand for 3 years cauase they are awesome.

Random speaker malfunction

Randomly my speaker got grainy with low quality sound. My phone has been no where near water and I haven't dropped it. Do you think this is a random hardware issue and if so is it covered by att warranty?

I don't think so unless it came blown out. I don't use my speaker to listen to music ever so unless a ringtone at max volume blew it then that isn't the case. I just don't think the speaker is very good and cannot handle full volume with any song that has any bass.
That happened to me on my Touchpad, when I installed a custom ROM, it "fixed" http itself. Have you tried a reset maybe? Or if you are rooted, flash a new rom?

Do you think it's a rom that's doing it? I mean it didn't sound any louder than normal and then just randomly starting to sound like low quality and the speakers blew. I'll try a new rom or stock soon.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using xda premium
Not sure, but that's what fixed it for me. I was running the stock ROM, so I doubt it was the ROM. Maybe something that needed to be cleared. Just trying to offer a possible fix, can't hurt to try right?

Yes my speaker sounds so bad. I just traded a Nexus 4 for this Note 2 and I like the note 2 more in every way other than the blown speaker. I'd replace it my self if i knew it wouldn't blow again. Let me know if you warranty it.

Maybe a stereo bluetooth earbuds meet your need, but the music time is also 3-4 hours.
All the mini bluetooth headset for phone working time is 3 hours or less.:angel:
If your money is enough take a Jaybird http://www.amazon.com/Jaybird-Freedom-Bluetooth-Earbuds-Fit-Bluetooth/dp/B005B28DOM/ 80.77 6 hours music time
Thanks for the information you provided. I really did love the original ear Buds I got from Samsung s3. I don't trust Bluetooth(personal issues with headaches). I'd rather something similar to the original headset.
