Edit: Tried with Firefox, Chrome, IE and Opera all 4 gives the same message as above. This is on Win7 64bit if that has anything to do with it.

Same here, Chrome 5.0.375.99, Windows XP SP3.

Okay good to know, It's probably not working for anyone at the moment then. Hopefully it will be fixed.
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App
Here working well: Opera 10.60, Win7 32bit
Hm, i've tried Firefox, IE and Chrome all three give the same message. Gonna install Opera and check. But anyway, there must be some kind of problem with the feature, can't be right that it should only work on Opera?
Edit: Nope, not working in Opera either here. Don't suppose there is on option in my User CP here on the board i must enable or something?
We're trying to fix - it has to do with the Twitter API we're using. Thanks for the note!
Ah great, looking forward to when it's fixed =)

qr codes are for scanning with your smartphone using its camera and a barcode scanner app.

oyyy. I misread his post. I thought he was trying to click the actual qr code. I see now he is having problems trying to get the code to pop up in the first place.
Duh! :slap forehead:
I got this problem too, please fix
Confirmed that it's broken for me too. I'll flag this to the server admin
Hm it's not working anymore. Using Chrome. Up to date. NotScripts is already set to allow the forum, Ghostery shows no tracking bugs anyway, tried allowing netshelter.net and liftdna.com scripts, also tried disabling adblock for chrome and safari.. still nothing.

I'm working with the Dev of Androidfilehost on this error whenever I click on one of the downloads at http://beta.androidfilehost.com
{"INFO":"failed posted hashcheck","SOLUTION":"please make sure you have javascript enabled for androidfilehost.com. Hit the back button, enable javascript and try again please. we promise we are probably not doing anything nefarious. maybe. no promises though."}
This is happening on 4 different pc's for me (Windows 7 & XP), IE & Firefox. All have the IE Java plugin, verified javascript is running. Anyone have any ideas?

This is a pretty old post. As stated the Developer fixed the browser issue that was occurring at the time.
The internet browser is usually the problem. Try a different browser. If trying to access the site from a mobile device, try from a regular pc as well.
And the site in now www.androidfilehost.com

why i have no any mirrors found ????
I have exactly the same download problem: tried 3 browsers on my pc (even uninstallted ublock on firefox), in case a server is found, after some minutes the download is finished (with only 10% of the data...), the same with my Android 10 xiaomi and google chrome plus android browser.
my wlan is stable!
It was working fine a couple of months ago but for the past few weeks I've been unable to rate any thread. I've tried different browsers but clicking on the stars or the down arrow on the right doesn't do anything. I know a few others are having the same issue. Are there newly added requirements for you to rate a thread, like when you registered or how many posts you have? Thanks in advance!

Are you able to check your web browser console to see if there is any error message?
I did just change to jQuery 1.10.1 last night, so I'm curious if this "fixed" it for you.
Also try to clear all of your browser cache to see if that helps.

Tried clearing cache but that didn't help. I did see a bunch or error messages related to XDA in the web console of Firefox. Do I need to post that here? I cleared the log and only opened the xda thread but the error messages are still a few pages long.
I'm not able to rate this thread either. chrome Version 27.0.1453.110 m, windows xp.

First I thought that the ability was taken away from OP of the threads but then realised that was not the case. Tried Firefox, Chrome and Safari. But no luck in doing so.

I'm using FireFox v17.0.6 (need for my work) > no thread rating.
It's since few days ... maybe a week or so.
Sorry for not reporting earlier as I thought that it could be because of my out-dated FireFox version.
Tested now in Opera 12.15 > no thread rating.
And Internet Explorer 8.0 > no thread rating.
EDIT:
Error Console in FireFox gives several warnings, e.g.:
Warning: Unknown property 'user-select'. Declaration dropped.

Is the DevDB uploader broken right now? I've been trying to upload a new build of my ROM for a few hours and every time it fails at the verification step. Not sure where to post this kind of thing but this seems like the most appropriate place; if not, feel free to move my post. Thanks!
Edit: took a look at the javascript console and it seems like the torrent creation script is throwing a 500 error, if that helps at all.

Hi iofthestorm
Found the same behaviour on my thread (not DevDB).
I've noticed that 500 is raised over attachments (images too) only when using desktop browsers. Control panel shows my attachment but it's not accessible. Tested with: Crhome, FireFox and IE ... logged and as anonymous ... same 500.
But, browsing the same thread with xda-app shows up perfectly.
Weird!

Thanks for the feedback guys. Had an issue on the devdb file server the other day and it looks like when things came back up the MySQL server didn't start properly which prevented new uploads. This is now fixed and I've tested it, so let me know if you still see any issues with it.

This is a separate issue - it seems like the thumbnail wasn't created properly, but if you click on the file the actual attachment was created properly. I'm going to do some testing to see what is causing that problem.
Testing attachments... should be good to go now.
Edit: Yup - everything good. Let me know if you have any other issues with attachments.

Was working for a while. This time I am getting an error to the effect of "error processing on this server - not authorized".

I have no account issues I am aware of (I can still post).
Thanks in advance!

I redid the downloads server a week or so ago, there are some new security measures in place and that is probably what caused the not-authorized error for you. I just downloaded one of your old files and re-uploaded it without issue. Can you let me know what browser you are using, or if there are any extensions that might be blocking in?

Thanks, the plugins are probably doing it. I use unbranded FireFox (IceWeasel) with the NoScript plugin (although xda has been allowed for a long time - I may need to whitelist something else, or use Chromium/Chrome).
UPDATE: it appears that Chrome is handling uploading fine (Chromium was a bust due to the lack of Shockwave Flash support, as the Upload button was dead). Is there a predictable server for the authorization I could whitelist back in IceWeasel - that way I don't have to switch browsers? (Seems that the authorizing server loads at the last moment, preventing me from determining it's name.)
