Buy SGS4 now or wait for S5 in April?? - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 4

I've been researching the two devices but could still use advice. Here's what I've come up with so far:
SGS4
5.4 x 2.7 x 0.30 inches
4.6 ounces
Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean)
up to 15.5 hours talk time
up to 18 days standby time
13MP Camera with 1080p HD Recording
2GB RAM, 16GB ROM
Sync methods: Bluetooth, WiFi, USB, NFC
4G Capable
Wi-Fi Calling
Audio and Multimedia
T-Mobile TV
GPS and Apps
GPS enabled
International
UMTS: Band I (2100);UMTS/HSPA+: AWS Band IV / 2100 / 1900 / 850;Band II (1900);Quad Band GSM;LTE
Hearing Aid Compatibility
M3
Size and Weight
5.59 x 2.85 x 0.32 inches
5.11 ounces
Android 4.4.2 (Kit Kat)
2.5GHz Quad core application processor
16 MP Camera
2GB RAM, 16GB ROM, 128GB Expandable Memory Slot
Sync methods: Bluetooth, WiFi, USB,LTE
4G Capable
4G LTE Capable
Wi-Fi and Mobile Calling
T-Mobile TV
GPS and Apps
GPS enabled
International
UMTS: Band V (850);UMTS/HSPA+: AWS Band IV / 2100 / 1900 / 850;Band II (1900);Quad Band GSM;LTE
Looks like the big differences are the processor (is it same just overclocked or new hardware?), the camera (+ 3MP), heartrate sensor.
Does the S4 also have the expandable memory slot and dual wifi/4g data transfer? I want a phone I can root but I don't want to invest in something that will be quickly outdated...

Motorola Photon Q 4G LTE Comparison

Finally an upgrade path for Epic 4G users and/or Tactile fans. Everything else was a downgrade.
The Motorola Photon Q 4GLTE (MoPhoQ) appears to beat the Epic 4G, in all accounts, hands down, at least on paper.
The MoPhoQ has every option that the epic has except possibly touchwiz.
The only items I am unsure of are the Processor and Battery Life.
The Photon Q meets or exceeds all the specs & features of the Epic 4G.
Radio: Full world phone with 4GLTE & CDMA 800, CDMA 850, CDMA 1900, GSM 850, GSM 900, GSM 1800, GSM 1900, LTE 1900, WCDMA 850, WCDMA 1900, WCDMA 2100 vs. E4G- obsolete
WiMAX 2500 with CDMA 850 & CDMA 1900
Battery Size: 1785 mAh vs. 1500 mAh
Display Type & Resolution: LCD 540 x 960 pixels vs. OLED (Full-Color) 480 x 800 pixels
Display Size: 4.3" vs. E4G- 4.0"
OS: Android ICS 4.04 vs. Android 2.36 unless rooted
OS updates: Highly likely for the Photon to recieve JB as it is newer and a half-brother to Android by marriage.
Memory, Internal Storage: 8 GB raw hardware, 4.6 MB available to user +1GB RAM vs. E4g- 1.5GB raw hardware 461 MB available to user
Camera: 8+ megapixel vs. E4G- 5+ megapixel
Video Capture: 1080p HD 30FPS back & 720P front vs. E4G- 720p HD 30FPS back
Also the MoPhoQ has TV output via HDMI port, 4G LTE, Hearing aid compatiblity, NFC, it's not samsung & it has 4G LTE.
The only down side is it weighs 15Grams more and is several thousanths on an inch larger, literally 0.070" larger.
Now my questions are about the processor and battery life.
Processor 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon vs. E4G- 1 GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird
How much faster, better, more efficient etc. is the processor?
Does anyone have any ideas on the expected battery life of the photon?
The published battery life information appears to indicate a +25% increase in battery life

much faster and more battery efficient. It is based on ARM Cortex A15 architecture, whereas ours is ARM Cortex A8. Also, it is dual core, whereas ours is single core. Both of these qualities make it better in both ways. It also has a radio integrated into the processor, which means it saves power since it doesnt need to power multiple things for Radio. The dual core S4 processor of the Photon Q is faster and more battery efficient than the quad core processors on the market due to its newer architecture (S4=A15, current QuadCores are A9). If 2 A15 cores are faster than 4 A9 cores, then it would have to obliterate 1 A8 core.
Not sure about battery life specifically. It should be about on par with the AT&T One X

Hi folks
Am curious as to what the differences between the P600 series are... I know P600 is wifi and then theres the P605 lte but what are the actual diiferences between all the models(p601 etc) and the mentioned models?? Why can't we use same rom across them all? I undersatnd that you would not have Lte on the Wifi versions but is that all or are there more diferences?
looking forward to the answers.
