[ROM][4.2.2]Unofficial Carbon (Ported)

First ROM ive ported for you guys, i searched and i didn't think you guys had Carbon? So i ported it over form that other samsung Device (with Perms Ofcourse)
I love this Rom
Bugs:
- Same as in CM10.1
- Always on Dark Mode :s
( None other that i know of, if so, just report back here! )

Hi, friend! This ROM is based on CM10.1 so it is 4.2.2 as the name of a thread goes.
Again, depending on what is your kernel and especially revision of a display, your battery consumption may differ.

Do you have superuser or supersu installed? If not, i think you might need to install one of them. You can also check if you have it maybe embedded in Settings menu (like cm10.1).

Thanks for answer. I tried both Superuser and SuperSu, but no effect.
Have you tried this rom and have you root rights?
I like this rom and I'm willing to give it a try but without root I can not use it perfect.
Edit: I tried again, with clean installation but it don't work. In settings menue ther is superuser but no root rights for me.
I noticed that SD-Card and external SD-Card are switched, is this right.

I think this is the continuation of aogp...im not sure

Look like it’s based on CM12 5.0.2 and Android Open Grand Project(AOGP) 5.0.2
Out of the box I has only single sim support, but dual sim can be activated with the normal procedure and can receive/make calls without FC.
There are a couple of tweaks available but not yet much compared to blisspop or resurrection
Looks stable for a version 1.0 but to early to tell and I haven't got more time as I have to gow now.

There is a new update for this rom posted 4 hours ago.
I will take a backup from my blisspop and give it a test run and see if the FC is gone

Call, data, wifi and bluetooth works for me
Just some small problems:
No ringtone and notification selected so there is no sound until you set it yourself.
No file manager (no problem just install the one you like)
Looks great missing only a couple of blisspop features, but that is my personal opinion.
Add blocker
Open Camera
Kernel tweaker
Also happy they are using SU (Chainfire) and not CM SU as that is having less problems and is more supported by apps and superior
Also right out of the box only 1 sim enable , but you can activate the 2nd on in the usual way

Knowing the team it will be CM based but with extra features and options.
More custom settings, but at the moment blisspop rules them all

A new built is released http://sourceforge.net/projects/teamglade/files/Official/I9082/the previous built had a google play movies fc, which make the system lags. i dont know is its a problem of gapps i have flashed. . let the latest built be bug free...
I also felt that this rom has minimum sudden battery drop. I will post the screenshots that the battery is working for 3 hours after 15%. But after that i charged and rebooted the SYSTEM UI inconsistent message came also my all SD apps find lost. I think this id bacause of the themes i have installed..Maybe. data cache has to formatted. so now im downloading the latest built. Hope the problems are fixed

The kernel is based on original g928f source code(but still uses raymanfx and battle hero's base)And I did not have any issues with the calls.The audio quality was terrible both ways I admit but the device never crashed for the specific reason of calling.

Thanks man. Seems CM gives different issues per user. I couldnt make any call, not even linked.. Audio quality is ok for me, i mean its normal but sometimes whilst listening music; glitches for a milisecond when press home button, enter an app etc.. The only thing I miss as a major is calling lol, no need a camera though. So I will try this build, thanks again. :good:

@Rainbow_Dash Tried it out and it's amazing to see CM on my phone. Managed to install Slim Gapps mini. But GMS keeps crashing every time u use a Google app. Ofcourse this isn't a daily driver yet but it was really fun testing it. And, as you say, when it's not crashing it's crazy fast. Looking forward to be testing your builds to come, but for now I have to roll back to the second best: Battleheroe's extreme debloated. I need my phone daytime but in the evenings I will test yours. We really need AOSP on our device. Thanks a million for your work. :good::good::good:

Just wanted to give you a quick update that I managed to get the s view working(mine did not work)and the gapps problem is 30%fixed(yes it was the ROMs fault) I will make an update in the near future so stay tuned for an update!
Did I mention it doesn't crash anymore?

I found a solution to the gapps problem.At the moment no gapps work without any (google play services has stopped) countinous message.And opengapps even sayed that it isnt compatible.It is an easy fix in build.prop but i need just a little more time

Have you tried ''aroma'' labeled gapps? > http://opengapps.org/?api=6.0&variant=nano I flashed it on the other CM13 rom, no crashes(make sure do not select dialer which is changing framework=causes reboot when you call). I was always using 'aroma-gapps', so that makes sense to have less issue for me(No reboot in sms, No issue/reboot music etc).. So logically, it would work with Dash's build too. Havent had time to try, will let you know after a day/tonight.

Opengapps says somethin like download appropriate gapps for your rom.Any other gapps installs but loops google services has stopped.Again the fix is easy but i dont have acces to a pc at the moment.

You have to edit your build.prop in case.. I couldnt flash Xposed with your build, but changed build.prop then flashed. When I try to flash with yours; it says my device is arm, not arm64 etc. I guess it may causes a conflict with Gapps too.

Notification centre is a known issue.Will fix in near future.Also I fixed the gapps problem and will reupload with fixed build.prop

Super power saving like TW Ultra power saving + Smart power saving + Custom power saving
Security app which can control almost anything in the ROM
no app can have it's full permissions without your permission
Xperia keyboard included in the ROM
Smart Touch Gestures
Flyme OS Original launcher
app lock
Vault this is a private mode where you can store your files / images etc
Good camera app It's the first app which can I use without using Samsung Stock Camera so great
and it has an assistant
For Bugs :-
1- No Notification LED
2- Flyme os Themes don't work
3- it can't read your IMEI but it has no effect
4- Caller ID Doesn't want to work
5- video record
For installation
first do Nandroid Back don't forget it specially EFS file remember EFS File
1- Put the zip on your internal Storage
2- Boot in any recovery you use i used TWRP 3
3- factory reset is enough don't dirty flash it my friend had a hardbrick because of this
4- flash only the ROM don't flash anything else
5- reboot into system and wait for 15 min first boot
6- after finishing your setup wizard you can flash any Gapps i used open gapps pico
if you have mobile network problem restore your efs file
remember i'm not the developer of this ROM I've just found it

No Caller ID
No Random Reboots it does a soft reboot after installing some apps doesn't happen always

It's Great Battery life I liked it

i am getting "google play services stopped working" errors repeatedly.
i tried installing gapps from mi store. and also flashed micro gapps in recovery. but still facing those errors.
is there any fix for this?

already installed the rom and Google play store without any problems try install this apk and open it will install Google apps after finishing open play store and continue by your account but you will facing fc just ignore it and continue after that play store will work normal leave him for 15 minutes to update Google firmware you will see have new design now you can download app what you want

1. Battery life so bad
2. Bluetooth audio quality very very bad when you connected to headphone or mini speakers
3. Camera sometimes not working unless i restart the phone
4. Google Play Services and framework Has stopped
if there is any solutions just tell me please, the most important to me battery life and bluetooth audio quality

i tried to reflash again and again from the same twrp, after couple of retry it worked..
but after a week or two my device in which i was using miui it restart and got stuck in bootloop .. thts why i had to switch to stock again
over all it was a great experience owesome work bro .. everyone should give it a try

DONT USE GOOGLE INSTALLER OR OPEN GAPPS (i got play services fc n then contacts never sync)
USE A-GAPPS N IT WILL WORK 100%

i tried to reflash again and again from the same twrp, after couple of retry it worked..
but after a week or two my device in which i was using miui it restart and got stuck in bootloop .. thts why i had to switch to stock again
over all it was a great experience owesome work bro .. everyone should give it a try

nope everything was running fab .. except sometimes camera stop working says "cant find camera " but after doing restart it starts to work again.. at that day same thing happens..when i restart my device but that time it stuck in bootloop.. and keep on restarting after Galaxy s4 boot screen..

Strange , saw bootloop issue only when I Uninstalled any bloatware

its make device exetremly hot
poor battery backup

Dont say like that...because it is hard to build a bugless rom....i think the developer is trying his best....
