Since updating to version 6.0 my album doesnt work. It goes to open then says "unfortunately album has stopped", Any ideas?

Try clearing data of album in app under all find it and clear data.

wow thats some thing new :d so appart that app wont work but together with another app this one is working ? nice to know that

The sound of lock/unlock/touch sounds is very low. Tried to turn on/off xLoud, didn't help. There's even no unlock sound, just some noise. Can anyone help me?

try fresh with your rom,, install it again to see if that problem is solved. i had the same problem i installed fresh rom and it was gone or install v6 again without wiping any thing it may solve your problem too. i did not tried this but some one did told me that it can solve this issue.

install v6 again without wiping any thing it may solve your problem too. i did not tried this but some one did told me that it can solve this issue.so install again v6 on this rom without wiping any thing at all and see if it solve your problem.

After clean installing and let ROM operating smoothly, I'm install all app that I used everyday and doing reboot. Suddenly I lost the gsm signal. I had to reinstall back the whole ROM again and just fine after that but i'm afraid to do reboot again. I'm assume it will happen again. Anybody had a same problem?

this room in my opition is the best for arc, but i got a problem when i update to v6 the drain battery goes to high, in night it drops 11% , wifi and music 53% in 3hours.
in version v5 this is more stable and no much drain, like 2% in a night.
can i do something?

happened to me also, but on viper 5. was pretty f*cked up, as I needed the phone badly in that moment :/
on viper 6 it didn´t happen, though I reverted back to 4.5, which gives the best performance.
Some features are missing, but 6.0 was unusable for me due to some Bugs and lags in gaming.
Rush Kernel 13 is the one I´m using atm, haven´t found a kernel that gives more speed and perfmormance yet.
Waiting for an Update on Viper, that improves it again

no joy with clearing data, its more annoying than anything else

Battery drain is not rom problem.it your apps and other stuff that wont let your mobile into deep sleep.like whatsapp/Viber .

No one had that kind of probelm as far that i know.try flashing another kernel like Vengeance or Lupus it may solve your problem.make a backup with Cwm before you test any thing, if you do loos your signal than you can restore your backup again without installing every thing again.

Remove album app in system/App and download Album app over here follow the instruction and flash it again.before doing any thing make backup of your rom.

Vengeance is good or lupus try those. and i am having no lags at all even not in nfs Mostwanted and which features are missing ? did you let your rom settle it down for a day or 2 ?? you know rom takes time to settle it self some time even a weak.afterwords things that your are having trouble with search here on xda and solve them one by one.i do it too like with every rom that i use Jerry is doing his best to provide us better cooked roms.

See the logcat.You will surely find some reason for your problem.Use any logcat application from playstore to start monitoring and writing your logs.:cyclops:

I suppose that your phone boots up and after sometime crashes and restarts.How much time it works fine after a boot.What happens when you enable your wifi connection.Are'nt you able to connect to a wifi network.If this happens with every rom that you try, i think it could be related to a hardware problem.Only way i will be able to help if you could get a logcat out of it
Could you explain in details what exactly happens after you boot.

Official Cyanogenmod 12 Lollipop

Guys for those of you who don't know, Official CM12 for our device (E975) has just been rolled out today. Here's the link to the download page: http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=e975
Standard rom flashing procedures apply.
Note: I did not work on cyanogenmod builds at all just thought I'd share the news so don't blame me if your device goes bonkers from flashing.
EDIT: Also note that it's a nightly build

i don't think they are done, it missing some stuff. but it's heading in the right detection

Everything working for me so far. Used PhilZ Touch Recovery. Official gapps for lollipop can be found at this link: https://s.basketbuild.com/gapps

Bugs i ve noticed:
-Sometimes data needs some time to work
-wrong ratio on video recording preview
-Camera is a little dark
-headphone works but no icon on status bar

Thanks man i also successfully flashed it.
But: My WIFI seems a little choppy, it sometimes disconnects while downloading an app from play store.
Camera is so dim on low light compared to the stock LG camera.

Hello, i just Flashed the new CM12 Build, but when i checked cyanogenmod website again there is a another update, and my OTA doesn't see any updates, do i have to flash it using the custom recovery? and do i need to wipe something before updating?

Some please check whether Video calls are working in Skype, Viber, Line etc.

Yeah I think OTA updates has some problems at the moment. For now, just download the zip file from cyanogenmod's website and flash it in recovery. No need to wipe anything, just remember to flash gapps and supersu (if you use it) again after flashing update.

For the wrong ratio in video problem, were you using Google Camera or Cyanogenmod Camera because in CM camera it's fine but Google Camera there's the black bar.

Thanks man, i thought it's only me. About the Gapps i thought i dont have to flash them anymore, what will happen if i forget to flash them? will it cause a bootloop or they will simply not show up when the rom boots up? sorry noob here XD::highfive:

If the rom deletes GApps, they just won't show up. I have noticed they were only gone on a few different Lollipop updates. But there should be no bootloop if you don't flash. They just won't show up. You can always go back to recovery and flash them after the fact.

The kernel is based on original g928f source code(but still uses raymanfx and battle hero's base)And I did not have any issues with the calls.The audio quality was terrible both ways I admit but the device never crashed for the specific reason of calling.

Thanks man. Seems CM gives different issues per user. I couldnt make any call, not even linked.. Audio quality is ok for me, i mean its normal but sometimes whilst listening music; glitches for a milisecond when press home button, enter an app etc.. The only thing I miss as a major is calling lol, no need a camera though. So I will try this build, thanks again. :good:

@Rainbow_Dash Tried it out and it's amazing to see CM on my phone. Managed to install Slim Gapps mini. But GMS keeps crashing every time u use a Google app. Ofcourse this isn't a daily driver yet but it was really fun testing it. And, as you say, when it's not crashing it's crazy fast. Looking forward to be testing your builds to come, but for now I have to roll back to the second best: Battleheroe's extreme debloated. I need my phone daytime but in the evenings I will test yours. We really need AOSP on our device. Thanks a million for your work. :good::good::good:

Just wanted to give you a quick update that I managed to get the s view working(mine did not work)and the gapps problem is 30%fixed(yes it was the ROMs fault) I will make an update in the near future so stay tuned for an update!
Did I mention it doesn't crash anymore?

I found a solution to the gapps problem.At the moment no gapps work without any (google play services has stopped) countinous message.And opengapps even sayed that it isnt compatible.It is an easy fix in build.prop but i need just a little more time

Have you tried ''aroma'' labeled gapps? > http://opengapps.org/?api=6.0&variant=nano I flashed it on the other CM13 rom, no crashes(make sure do not select dialer which is changing framework=causes reboot when you call). I was always using 'aroma-gapps', so that makes sense to have less issue for me(No reboot in sms, No issue/reboot music etc).. So logically, it would work with Dash's build too. Havent had time to try, will let you know after a day/tonight.

Opengapps says somethin like download appropriate gapps for your rom.Any other gapps installs but loops google services has stopped.Again the fix is easy but i dont have acces to a pc at the moment.

You have to edit your build.prop in case.. I couldnt flash Xposed with your build, but changed build.prop then flashed. When I try to flash with yours; it says my device is arm, not arm64 etc. I guess it may causes a conflict with Gapps too.

Notification centre is a known issue.Will fix in near future.Also I fixed the gapps problem and will reupload with fixed build.prop

Mobile not charging

Hello friends,
I have sony xperia z5 premium E6883 rooted with resurruction remix rom. but now a days i am facing issue with charging. i had fast charger with new high quality charging cable. Charger also shows the voltage and current . when i connect my phone it show 5 volt and 1.42 amps ( it varies continuesely from 0.40 amps Min to 1.42 amp max ). but its charge sometime but very slow but some time mobile not charging when display shows same voltage and current . can you help guys why this is happening ? what is the issue and what is the method to get my mobile fast charge and very less drain .

Hi, looks like ROM problem. I had same issue with LineageOS but when i went back to Stock ROM issue has gone. Since other ROMs are not getting updates i would stick with M-ROM instead because it does get updates. see the link below.

ROM is stable without any lags so far. I started using it from version 2.6 and now i have modded version 2.8.9.
4K Video in camera app makes camera to crash so keep that in mind.
Zach's Kernel was not good for me, i could not "charge-and-use" i was getting fast battery drain too so i use

Hey bro thanks today i installed MROM 2.8.9 today but how can I fix the problem with contact app?
If I install the Google version and want to import my contacts from a VCF file, the Google contact app crashes.
please help

Hey Varun, Sorry for late reply (i was at work)
Contacts are major problem for that ROM that's one of the reasons i switched from it (I'm on Stock Now )
However before i had no time for flashing and stuff and i was at work i was using https://contacts.google.com/ website with my E-mail address so it's contacts app but web version. You can do that too but for now there is no solution, even FIX ZIP file did not worked for me

hey why are you sorry bro ? you r guiding me and giving me good tips so i am thankful to you. i had resolve this contact sync issue with installing contact sync fix ( requires ROOT ) app from google play store. and its working.
