[Q] Evo Keeps Restarting/Rebooting By ItSelf

Well This Is My First And Very Sad Post, Im New Here How Ya All Doing
The Thing Is I Have An HTC EVO NO ROOTED And Running Android 2.3.3 My Phone Was Rooted Before But For Some ODD Reason I Decided To UnRoot Ooh And By The Way This Phone Is Flash To Work With Boost Mobile
The Problem I Been Having Lately And I Say Lately Cuz It Been Happening Since Along Time Ago But NOW ITS GUETTING WORSE )= My Phone Keeps Restarting/Rebooting For No Reason Like If Im On A Call Or Downloading Something From The Market Or Watching A Video Online IT Restart By It Self, Today It Did It More Then 20 Times (i know it sounds alot but its true) & It Keep Doing It
My Question Is If There Is Any Way To Fix This Problem Cuz Its Frustrating ); And If Theres Is How Can I Do IT (Remember My Phone Is NOT Rooted & Im Its Running Android OS 2.3.3) So How Can I At least Make It Better For A Lil LOl

well if you are unrooted have u tried to take it back to sprint?....sounds like u could be in line for a replacsment......

the problem you are having is common as far s I know. it is not necessarily related to a phone problem.
It has been happening to me for a very long time and have actually replaced my phone twice because of it and the problem persists. I have found it is because of a low amount of ram. If you have a lot, or even a few programs that are running in the background It will happen more often. I discovered this because I have a program Tasker installed on my phone that kept notifying me I had low memory and soon after my phone would reboot itself. Web browsing, youtube, games.
since I have discovered this I have deleted some of the programs that were not necessary. Lookout was a huge ram hog. if you have a lot of widgets running the likely hood of your phone rebooting is more likely.
You can check your running services by going to Menu - Settings - Applications - Running Services.
There you can see what is non essential and therefore delete, or just live with the rebooting.
I have deleted some of the programs and the frequency of the rebooting is far less.

u should try to make ur english readable... english is not my first or even second language.... but, u can use google translate... so it doesn't confusing the other,,,,
about this problem, have u installed tasker on your Evo? im not sure about it...
but im trying to figure it out... i have flashed a new rom... it didn't have reboot problem until i installing this apps.... it seems rebooting every one hours... even there aren't task to reboot...
and i did turn off tasker... but, it's still happen....
anyway... im using P920 Lg... i don't know if my problem is exactly the same problem as you...

Hi everyone, please people don't mess with our friend, his english is very good, and understandable, by the way are we allowed to type the "damn" word?, dain, it is very smug to correct someone else when he just express very well, besides someone with his problem we should get his feeling.

I cant send and receive SMS, MMS, Call, even i had full bars of signals ... this happened some time..

it fixed by restarting my phone. but its pretty annoying coz i miss important message and calls from my friends and relatives. is this phone`s problem ? its my problem since i bought it. 6 months ago. Please Help.

I had similar problem too. But for my case, it only happened SOMETIMES. I have tried hard reset, flashing stock ROM via odin etc, but the problem remains the same. So no choice, I have just sent it to SSC. Still waiting now.

Waa I thought im the only 1 who experience this, anyway, is this phone`s fault or what ? so i can go it to SSC too ahmm btw how long SSC fix our phone ? i hope they will replace my phone xD... please reply asap

My friend said 1-2 week.
Ur problem might be different. U can try to flash a stock ROM via Odin and do a hard reset by using dial pad (search secret code in our forum to know what to dial)

AWWWW.. 1-2 weeks, anyway i believe we had same problem, BTW sir .. Please reply here asap if your phone back. and if it has been fix and what SSC said. Please and is your phone rooted sir ?

Yes. It was rooted but i have reverted all the things back to stock before sending it. I will update u about it.

Its wired i have a note 3, and i had the note 2 before and i alway wifi callig at my mom because of low signal, now the new thing for the past 2 weeks is that i can resecieve all kind of text but when i reply, it said "unable to send message, it will be sent when service becomes avalible!! its very frustrated it doesn;t mater if i restart or take of battery it does that same thing... i have no ideal what it is.. if its a setting or something like i said i never had this problem before.. any idea..

Sorry my friend, but you came to the wrong section.

Dunno where to ask this trying to fix a friends phone (android) not a S3!!

Dunno where to put this soooo... My friend tried to root his phone with out asking me and he ****ed it up a bit. It can't connect to anything. If he tries read mail, or if he trys to open market it force quits. The phone is in front of me its running android vs. 2.3.6 model lg-ms840
umm I dunnno its so ... less sophisticated then my S2 or S3 .... I don't want to give him my old S2 he might break it and that would be a sin on the S phones.... so just send me somewhere I can put his phone back to normal any ideas? beside tellling him I can't fix it... I want to help
Help fix my buddys phone.. he works 6 days week and has a kid. guy needs a phone thanks

No idea what he did, but why not just try a factory reset?

Find out what the phone is and you can post in the right form of forum for the best help. You're not likely going to do well here.

Front facing camera server error??

For some reason I can't open my front facing camera at all I just get a message saying server error please restart camera.. Idk what to do.. The phone is brand new right out the box.. got it last night. Haven't rooted or anything yet.. is this a known issue? I can't use the front facing cam at all... Please if someone can help me I would really appreciate

Head right back to the store and get new one. Sounds like it is defective.

hmmmm never tried log cat and dont know how actually but my Question is could i pin point the problems if i take a log cat or does it need someone who understands the coding ( it is codes right ? )

Sprint s6 issues, please help me!

So ive got a spint s6, bought from dubai, unlocked and rooted apparently. After a couple of days, my phone woulndt start up cuz it was FRP locked. OK so i searched for the original firmware, i flashed it and my phone booted up again. i flashed also the 5.1.1 and 6.0.1. Here s the thing, on 5.1.1 i can make calls, receive them, receive text messages but i cant send texts at all, so my guess its that its not unlocked anymore. On 6.0 doesnt even have any signal so forget about it. I just want to resolve this issue. I cant find the setting that could help me to change the message center at all, i dont have that option in my phone, i even tried to change things with some adb commands but still nothing. So after all my guess its that the phone isnt unlocked anymore and if so, how do i unlock it? i just cant give the phone back cuz i dont live in dubai, im like a day or so distance with the plane so i just wont go back there again. If anyone could help me...please do so...im on 5.1.1 now, unrooted, i can root, i just cant send texts and i dont have the messages center
oh and also i tried the galaxy tool method from idoneapps which apparently wont work at all and im concerned about paying for that thing if it doesnt work so...yeah

Happy someone finally answered. Same problem? I really dont know what the hack its going on. If the god damn phone was unlocked, why wouldnt let you send texts after the odin flash? Maybe i didnt say but the phone was opened in the back and front cuz some elements are not fixed in places. Maybe they unlocked by hardware or smth..

My Guess in researching about this phone let me to this state that u need to unlock ur fone again take it to some software guy have him unlocked ..then try running in MM see if u have any signal i also have this same issue dont have any money to unlock rit now but u can try ..hey if u have any good results do post and share here for this...PS u dont have to go to dubai this model is G920P is US Sprint give it some software guy in ur local area

The vast majority of users on this site are in the US. I'd help you if I could, but as I have replied in other threads on the same topic (and that is a problem too, people keep on opening up new threads) that if I can't reproduce the problem, I can't solve it.
I notice that your signature says "Sent from my SM-G925F." Is that part of the problem? Not a 920P phone?

Factory reset the phone. Then get in touch with [email protected]. hell dire t you on how to resolve. If unlock is your problem he can help.

Nono thats not a problem. I got a galaxy s6 edge which im using daily, its perfect. The s6 with an issue is my sister's. A factory reset wont do anything. I did that enough times already. The messages jsut dont seem to work at all and i dont find any solution. Also, i didnt find a thread with this problem and if there is, im sorry for bothering with this. I just need help..

Cosmin1112 try atleast getting to fix the sms issue either downgrade to 5.11 or 5.0.2 and sell ur fone..i said before i had the same issue like urs i sold my s6 bought LG G4 H815.. Now im running on marshmallow with 2 days standby time...im loving every second of it.. U should do too..G4 is actually cheaper then S6 so ur in luck
