any luck??
You installed CWM sucefully. But you dont unlock bootloader so the LG security error activates.
So you have to flash a KDZ firmware from LG.
Then root.
You dont have to use ROM manager, it can brick your device also.
After root, download FreeGee aplication from PlayStore, it will unlock your bootloader and install CWM or TWRP, youchoose.

hecker verified it.
I installed Clockwork mod and made sure everything was upodated
When I try to boot into recovery mode I get an error that says "Unfortunately, com.lge hiddenmenue has stopped
the phone then reboots and displays the following error.
Source boot error!

If I reboot it boots fne
I downloaded G Pro 2nd -init Recovery
Run it, it says it works and reboot into recovery
After running G Pro 2nd-init Recovery the phone does reboot into recovery.
However the only way to get the phone to reboot into Recovery is to re-run the install and reboot into recovery.
Next issue, I have downloaded a a couple CFW and every one gives a Status 7 error when I try to install them.
Any help would be awesome!!!

1st you need to install Freegee from Play store and by pass/unlock boot loader........
2nd status 7 is an assert error....it tells if the ROM is not exactly for your model watch this to understand and solve http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QW1znjDLe-k
all these issues have been discussed in detail in the forum....please use search
I have an E975. After I 'bricked' my phone once, and re install kdz using kdz updater. I tried to unlock my phone again. I thought KDZ update will wipe my phone, but after reboot I found my apps still there. So I re run the FramaRoot, select Gandalf, wait until success msge appear. The uninstall the Freegee, redownload FreeGee, trying to run freegee, download BusyBox, install busybox, and finally FreeGee main screen.
I click backup EFS. then decided to install CWM. Choose Mako. now the weird thing happens, its been 1 hour, and still displaying "Performing action CWM-6.0.4.7"
Am I doing it wrong??? What should I do?
Btw, I bricked my phone before because I installed ROM Manager and CWM Recovery before unlocking the bootloader.
Hi!
I've recently rooted my phone using StumpRoot and I've decided to flash CWM Recovery using the ROM Manager from Google Play Store...
Ofcourse I forgot that V20c has a locked recovery, so now whenever I try to boot into recovery, I get "Secure booting error". Fortunately, the system works just fine, so the only harm done is the complete lack of recovery
Have anyone tried unlocking the bootloader on KitKat using FreeGee app? I've seen it mentioned more often than once, though I can't find any info regarding its usage on Kitkat v20c. Can the secure booting error cause further problems if I try the FreeFee app?
OK, tried FreeGee, the bootloader seems to be unlocked with CWM Recovery installed. Rebooting into recovery in ROM Manager (from Google Play Store) works like a charm.
Used the MAKO method, installed CWM-6.0.4.7.
Now whenever the phone boots up, first Google logo will appear, followed by LG, followed by carrier/LG animation
i have a Lg g3 (F400S). Currently i am running on cloudy g3. i wanted to update to FULMICS 5.0 ROM. while following the instructions for the rom it was strongly suggested to update your TWRP. previously i had TWRP ver 2.8.2.0. so as per the rom instructions i downloaded TWRP ver 3.0.2.0 for f400 and booted into recovery to install updated recovery image. there i could not see the image button (The option in install menu which allows you to install .img files) in the install menu of TWRP so i downloaded the TWRP app from play store and after selecting the correct TWRP recovery image i installed it from the TWRP app. the app gave me a success message.
but alas now i cannot boot into recovery mode any more. it gives me

I tried to install twrp and philz recovery but when I install and I restart my phone, my phone only start in recovery mode or show me the error "error boot certification verification". You're on KitKat, FreeGee isn't working with KitKat aboot and never will. Use GPRO recovery apk from forums (if you can't find it in forums, tell me, I'll upload it somewhere, but really try finding it on forums first) to flash compatible recovery, then flash from freegee or simply flash twrp with flashify. Or even better, flash stock jellybean and use freegee on it.
About vibration issue, I don't understand. You want to completely disable it? Just go in notification settings and uncheck vibrations and haptic feedback everywhere you see it.
