Mic not working here
Everything works beside the microphone at all. I still googling for this bug and I can't find anything of this issue

All sense roms with the newest ICS have functionality mic but not for CM higher than 7.0.3 stable or 7.1 RC1 version. Sorry for my english but I beg for help any.
it's totally weird because I use GRJ22 and there everything is working I mean the microphone too.

That's odd, I'm sure I've used the microphone with my G2 before, and I've never used anything aside from CM9, 10, and Sense 4. I'll look into it, but in the meantime have you tried flashing a sense ROM then a CM ROM, because this is supposed to fix lights and vibration or something so maybe it's the same with the mic.
In the meantime have you noticed any improvements over the Andromadus CM10.1 due to the toolchain and kernel? I known the differences are limited at the moment, so if there are any features you can't live without then I can always have a shot at implementing it.

yeah i trying flash the CM after Sense. No luck mate!
I used not to long this rom because mainly functionality is not working on every CM rom above 7.1 RC1. I think it is maybe wrong drivers leaning on that phone DZ series.
I even pushed the sound file from official rom there: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2620708 but I got sometimes temporarily hang when I calling or I answering the call. This bug is appear on this time on every CM7.and ICS sense. So I use GRJ22 or Sense 2.3.3 If someone port the sounds libs from official I think I will get the mic. And that bug of calling can fix next time in the future if supposed to be
Thanks a lot!
Curious as to how this differs from NeverGone/RUs 10.1 ROM as they are both CM and Andromadus based? As NeverGone/RU changed his OP after switching the thread to 10.2/11, there's no means to compare the two.
Also, seeing as how you (OP) appear to have used NeverGone/RUs 10.1 ROM, I'm assuming you feel that this ROM is faster and/or more stable?
Edit: Also, would you mind posting an MD5/SHA just to be safe?

I admit it's very similar to NeverGone\RU's ROM at the moment; most changes are in the kernel. I have added some system features though, if you see my GitHub: I've moved the clear all recents button to the bottom left, and thanks to @randomblame you can now choose the position of the statusbar clock. Also I've compiled the whole thing with a custom toolchain. More features are to come, don't worry I'll keep it fairly close to the original Andromadus source though, but there might be quite a few visual changes and options. If there's any feature you absolutely must have, just PM me.
Here's an MD5 sum of the latest (20140309) ROM

I've uploaded my own gapps package (see under "instructions" in the OP) but otherwise use the apps from goo.im.
TO EVERYONE: ROM is updated, now there's a statusbar clock option, and there's a slim gapps package if you fancy that. Downloads in usual place under "Instructions".
Is the Maps app works without bugs on this Stable Rom?

If it works on the Andromadus CM10.1 ROM then it works on this. If it doesn't, then it doesn't on this either, but I would've thought it should, provided you install the correct GApps.

I guess my main concern is whether it is more stable, and faster than NeverGOne/RU's ROM; while added features are always nice, I've always been fine with the base CM as it's light weight compared to stock Android.

Well with the custom tool chain and all the kernel improvements I expect it should be as fast if not faster, and there are no features which could actually decrease performance at the moment.
Hi all
First, thank you verry much for this stable and good rom!
But one quetion, where is the option to allow debuging and researching thrugh UBS?
Cant find it....
And finnaly, i can stop the right off the apps, but i cant tell which right exactly?
Thank you for any answer in advaced !

I flashed this yesterday to try it out and ran into an issue that I'm assuming to be SU related.
During setup, after downloading all my apps, I went to copy my notification ringtone over to the system partition with SUFBS and, despite the app having root access, and despite the system partition being mounted R/W, the file wouldn't copy over. The app appeared to copy the file over but, after the transfer, the file wasn't shown.
Assuming there might be a rights issue, I cleared all root privileges from SU and went to update SU with ChainsDDs app, and it repeatedly failed to update SU despite having root access.
Sent from my HTC Vision using xda app-developers app
EDIT: Nevermind, I got it sorted ... I didn't know that ChainsDDs superuser wasn't being maintained anymore and didn't work on 4.2.2.

Go into Settings > About Phone > tap Build number until it says you're a developer, then go back and go into developer options, it's all there.
Also sorry but can you rephrase your second question, I don't quite understand?
Very nice, I'm definitely gonna try this one out soon. :good: Could you please provide checksums (MD5 and/or SHA1) for the download?

The md5 for the most recent build (cm-10.1-20140309-UNOFFICIAL-vision.zip) is 06b536fbc6079d3971af342491c4d7d6.
Because I want your guys input, would anybody be interested in an option to change the status bar clock color? I have a build with it partially working right now: it is possible to change the colour, but you have to change the position of the clock and back again in order for the effect to actually occur, which is very annoying. However I'll only bother fixing this if you're actually interested in it. Otherwise there's no point, as my non existent java knowledge makes it very hard.
Are there any other features you want in the meantime? I might be able to implement active display if back porting the 4.3 notification api isn't too hard.
Adding wallpapers
After digging around XDA and Google, I can't seem to find my answer.
I'm wanting to add a wallpaper to this ROM (it's an old stock wallpaper that I like that get's cropped oddly when selecting it from the Gallery) but I can't seem to figure out where the CM Wallpapers are stored.

I guess were skipping CM8?
I had some problems with GAPPS and Market working correctly at first. A reflash of the GAPPS package solved the problem. I know with some other ROMs doing a reboot between flashing the ROM and flashing GAPPS helps to avoid similar problems, so might be wise to do.
Otherwise, everything is looking good so far. I like the new lockscreen.
Good job! i am using this ROM. faster! the kernel is 2.6.29, why not use 2.6.35?

After playing around with the 35 kernel, I think 29's battery drain is more reasonable.
Although the slightly performance advancing is not noticed by me...
Does this rom support a2sd+? Thanks!
is there an option to change the screen density to 140 DPI? I tried a patch from the VanillaEclair thread, but this causes a loop at the bootanimation. The circle completes one full round and then freezes, causing the animation to start over.
Any advice please?
EDIT: I'll just use LCDDensity then
Thanks for the 7.1.0 Stable, working great till now
Again having bug with video on 71-st minute!!!!!!!!!!!!
another issue i have is that the market indicates google maps is incompatible with my device...
EDIT: Seems to be related with LCDDensity. I can install it if I set it back to the default value of 160. Weird...
I have issues with SIM pin code with stable release and nightlies, does anyone have same issues here?¿?

because it's an official stable release. the .35 kernel hasn't reached official stable release yet. the .29 kernel did reach that point a long time ago.
If you want groundbreaking tech, don't use this rom. if you want stable and solid and cool stuff compared to the stock hero, use this rom.
cheers
---------- Post added at 08:10 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:05 AM ----------
official cm roms do not come with the following hacks:
- ext based apps2sd
- dpi changing
- launchers other than the free stable version of adw
- kernels other than the current main stable kernel (which is the old .29 kernel but highly modified of course, either it is fly13 or is very similar to it)
if you want this rom but with cool addons and extra features and a sexier/faster/smoother launcher and more active xda-based support, use elelinux cm7 3.5 (or later). it's the same basic rom but with his cool UI mods, a2sd, and so on.
Elelinux is the official gsm hero cyanogenmod developer anyhow so you know you're getting the best of the best with his cm roms
But this is certainly a cool rom if you don't like ext partitions or smooth launchers. I tried it and it was solid and stable. I prefer ele's 3.5 rom though for it's extra features.
Interesting reading about how so many Heros' are affected differently.
What really surprised me was that when I installed Ele CM7-3.5.1 and doing a full wipe of all over GOku 1.3e, Ele's rom booted up with all my apps including all Google apps, right at the the first boot???? I was amazed, never having this happen to me before.
Anyway, I have tried most of the latest roms, mainly GB and Froyo but I just keep coming back to GOku 1.3e or VE6.1 because I have also found odd things happening on the other roms. They all excell at doing most of the stuff that I need from a working 'phone. These things do take time and the developers really are amazing.
VE6.1 for blazing fast and stable and GOku when I need better sound for music.

Only way that can happen is if you didn't wipe ext partition. In cwm recovery that is automatic. In amon-ra you have to do it manually every time. Although in this case it wasn't a problem since they were similar gb roms so compatibility issues didn't affect you.

I had the same experience with flashing Ele's 3.5.1 over Goku's 1.3e. Apps were the same, even email was setup for hotmail. I figured I'd missed a wipe but am pretty sure I'd done it. I generally wipe twice between new roms, but perhaps I'd missed something. I use cwm every time.

Downloloading now! I've been a very happy AOKP user but I've been dying to try out CM9, I just wanted to wait until they were officially "Stable" (even though I know the nightlies have been solid).
Ah nice. Good to see it finally made it to RC status. JellyBean is just around the corner now though.
Just Voided my warranty with this. Now my refrigerator is 10 degrees warmer inside and all my ice cream just melted. Anyone else having this issue? Otherwise ROM is great!
Thanks!
Just made the switch tot CM9. Came from AOKP.
Always used CM on my N1. But when I got my GN I saw that AOKP was much more popular. But now with CM9 I'm just as happy as the good old N1 time.
(I really hated the unicorn stuff on AOKP..little bit immature if you ask me)
I didnt notice much speed or battery life differences. Will post my opinion later this week.

Great release! Looking forward to additional CM9 contributions being made. Switched from AOKP as well, so far so good... only feature I really miss is resizing the navigation bar.

Ya but are all the features/options found in AOKP are in the CM9? For example, weather on lockscreen, different choices for status bar drop down toggles etc? Last time I tried CM9 I found it stock and not to my liking. I like customizations like AOKP has.
I found out later that the unicorn was considered cool by others so it didn't bother me as much and once I installed franco kernel, I typically replaced the boot animation with franco's...
nice, give it a try...
and yeah, the rainbow unicorn is definitely uncool and the biggest problem of aokp!
Coming from nightlys, should we wipe everything then flash or can we flash over the last nightly? Thanks in advanced

You can always flash a different boot screen, it takes all of a second to do and if you use TWRP you can just chain the boot screen. I didn't care much for the unicorn, but I dont't think much of CID either.

I'm going to hazard a guess and say that officially you should wipe and start afresh, but feel free to just flash over the top - just don't expect much support if you run into issues.

Weather on lockscreen is there. Status bar drop downs.. there. Lock screen customizations, etc.
Many of the features from AOKP are in CM9 (with the recent versions of AOKP they're actually implementing features FROM CM9 into their ROM).
Such as their kernel, GNParts, AOKPStats, and a bunch of other features.
Try the ROM, just make a nandroid backup beforehand.. if you don't like it. Swap back. Like I said, only feature I REALLY miss is resizing the navigation bar to a smaller size.
I liked AOKP but I had a large number of problems with the ROM, my main issue was that it was being bloated with more and more unnecessary features.
AOKPtips.apk, swagpapers, etc.... basically unnecessary things like that. They all add up and build up to become a very bloated ROM. Not to mention again, they've started to add features from CM9 into their ROM which made it even worse. CM9 is more simplistic but still very customizable to use.
Hi!
I wanted a 'stock' AOKP Build and couldn't find so I tried and built one...
Thanks to LorDClockaN (IceColdAOKP) for the device specific files and the vendor setup for AOKP.
So you get a pure AOKP synced with the latest AOKP changes with device specific fixes for the One X.
Changelog
same as AOKP - plus:
- Fixed Black-Screen on rotation
- Fixed button timeout (fix by tbalden)
2012/07/18
- Fixed some issues with Camera/Videorecording
I want to keep the main packages the same as in AOKP and just integrate device specific fixes - so no added features
Installation
Flash ROM
Flash GApps
Reboot into fastboot
Flash boot.img via fastboot (fastboot flash boot boot.img)
Reboot
Bonus: No wipe required when you are currently on IceColdAOKP ;-)
Downloads
Download (in sync with AOKP Milestone 6)

thanks for your hard work.
it would be better to work with LorDClockaN ?

Ok. But the issues list is exactly the same?
Should be mostly the Same, yes...
Which device and vendor trees is this built off?
EDIT: Nevermind, realised you've stated it in the OP.
Not being funny here and apologies if you think i am having a dig but you need to write abit more info on what you are sharing here...first you can give us even a tiny changelog please and if so as well few screenshots....
cause you are sharing something in the development section so as far as i know you can be sharing anything...so it is for the benefit of us the users who want to download this and also for the safety of your back so at least you showed the user what they are actually flashing on there phones...
and welcome it is always nice to have more roms but if you can add the above to the OP you will be good to go and hoping for more AOKP magic

Hey there!
Updated the Post and added more info. Are screenshots madatory? The ROM looks exactly like any other AOKP 0_o If I have to I will add some...
Not discouraging development but man, I really really wish people would work together and come up with - in the very least - an "official" AOSP/AOKP XDA ROM. Not CM9, not Trip's (no offense Trip) not any other variant.
Just get together and work on fixes together. These AOKP ROMs all over the place are confusing a lot of people.

As there are lot of AOKP roms so are Sense ROMs like ARHD, Viper etc. Why dont you ask them to work together also instead of just singling out AOKP?
No offense just suggesting.

He did, he said AOKP/AOSP, CM9 is covered under AOSP, and AOKP is just a derivative of CM9 anyway, building AOKP isn't any different than CM9 as the device specific stuff is the same.
The (seemingly) most efficient solution would be for everyone wishing to develop for an AOSP-based ROM to join tbalden and mdeejay in their TeamNDVRu organisation on GitHub.

That wouldn't work, since they are in a way competing and all have different stuff, some are stock, but fast, some are based on leaked bases, some are totally customizable (LeeDrOiD and ViperX) etc., but CM9 is... well, CM9, so it actually makes *sense* (pun intended xP) to work on one rom

Apples and Oranges.
Sense ROMs are based off HTC's official release. There is no such official release from Google for the HTC One X unfortunately. So until that happens, I just wish everyone could band together and release a pure AOSP ROM and THEN have developers apply their tweaks to their hearts' content, kanging the hell out of the AOSP build until they're blue in the face.
So far, these AOKP releases are like a virus. They all attach to one device tree, bugs and all, and virtually release the same (seemingly) ROM. When someone squashes a bug, they all copy it. It's just redundant work that could be channeled towards finishing one master build rather than having multiple ones floating around.
To give some food for thought, this is like having the CyanogenMod developers working individually to release their own version of CM9 or CM10.
Apologies for derailing this thread.
This ROM is based off AOSP
As it is AOSP it has next to no extra features but it is very smooth. In this ROM everything should work. HDMI, Radio, and no pause when recording.

I cant flash it appear failed, i used your beanstalk rom, and i wipe data, cache and sistem but nothing how can i flash it?
try flashing the boot.img first...
@deedwar is this a stable version? If radio is iffy how can we use this? Just to be clear when you say radio, radio is the fm radio or the radio antenna for service signal?
The new version brings an error while installing. "some symlinks failed" "error installind updater script".
I've downloaded the rom 3 times from different servers and the error is present all the time.
What's the problem?
Wipes are all done by me, also flashing the kernel with ADB extra.
I'm coming from mokee rom.

I just installed the system image to check on mine i didnt do a complete install of the ROM itself so that would explain why i didnt see the same issues. I will do a clean build and repost it tomorrow when i wake up. Sorry for that.
In the meantime i relinked the older version with the bluetooth problem and people can install that and just install the new version over the top when i release it tomorrow.
By radio i mean FM RADIO not mobile signal.
can i install the version with bluetooth fix without wipe data ? i'm nw using the the version without fix ?

haven't tried the rom yet, maybe this weekend...
I expect it to perform better than other roms though, because it's AOSP (Stock Android)...
Just updated, installed and worked for me over the top of the old version at the very least but i dont see why it shouldnt just work.
Couldn't wait for the weekend, so eventually flashed the Rom here at the office... =)
Working great so far, like a nexus...
Maybe we can call our device now, Acro S GPE... Lol... =)
Thanks Guys!!!

Thanks for the updated kernel!
I got one issue tough, the most recent update brakes compatibility with the Gravity box module (Xposed framework).
In my humble opinion, in AOSP the UI should stay unaltered/vanilla, it's what makes this ROM unique.
All customization can be done by the user with Xposed framework and the Gravity box module for AOSP.
For example:
Clear all in recent apps
RAM bar in recent apps
Reboot options
Tiles customization
Torch options
and further on...
Other pros:
Customizing is an option rather than hardcoded in the framework and forced upon the user.
Saves you time as a dev.
and further on...

There is another branch that is there that i will compile from time to time that will be vanilla. However there are a few things i cant live without and while i do install the xposed framework i dont want to have to install a whole heap of mods just to do a few basic things.

I can get it, thank you for your so quick reply.
Then I wonder if I can roll back to 4.4.2? It is because I want to build a 4.4.2 pacerom using cm tree as a base rom to patch other roms like miui
Nice to see you here mate. Your rom on the OGP is excellent and I'm sure you will aim to please here as well
I did download and install an early *unannounced* build of this (before you had the thread up) and it was hard for me to pass the boot ani. I eventually booted in to safe mode and after that initial boot it worked great
*EDIT*
Flashed latest plus just now and it is flying. Would be awesome to have the device specific screen off gestures implemented. Only trouble so far is the AOSP keyboard force closes when swyping for me. Great work mate!
Hello, you can see some screenshots?

Im going to make this simple for you; ALWAYS flash gapps mini modular with every rom you ever use (unless you're flashing colorOS). I understand you are very new to XDA and perhaps a language barrier is the cause of some of the confusion (while corresponding with you in other threads)
@uppon2: The keyboard FC when using gestures should have been fixed. This is the fix commit:
https://github.com/pacerom/packages...mmit/9ddfe26215f035da036c620e69688c6721407811
That will depend on jni_unbundled_latinimegoogle existing, of course. It's provided in gapps.
If you have the "official" build with the md5 in the OP and you have gapps installed, I'll re-flash and re-test just to make sure something weird isn't going on.
I was on CM and Gummy for a couple months and I really got addicted to the tap2sleep/tap2wake stuff. I will definitely be trying to put those in soon. The other gesture stuff (circle for camera, vee for torch) may or may not make it in, depending on the amount of change required.
As for gapps, I have been using the CM recommended 20140606 package (linked here: http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Google_Apps) and it works well. Prior to last month I had been using the 20140105 package and it also worked well.
@Uanagana: Sorry no screen shots, just find a Nexus 5 screen shot and chop out the navbar.
