Good Mods and Add-ons

Hello I'm using JJ's Hybrid ROM with ArcNight 3.3 kernel and it's awesome but I want even more stuff.
Like supercharger v6, Xperia S lockscreen, Google Now, and Turning off button backlights.
And also any smart accessories for the device.
Have you got any Mods/Add-ons/ports that you recommend, for better battery and performance or just a more stylish UI.

I am searching the best battery and performance rom. i would say aosp roms provide that kind of things. So here i am asking which AOSP rom or AOKP rom do u prefer based on battery and performance.

use LordClockan's AOKP ROM, its very good
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1796340
use tbalden's CM10, its most stable and fast ROM at present
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1786696
and if you want pure AOSP ROM, then try tgascoigne's ROM
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1763240
For best battery and performance, either use faux kernel or franco's kernel
I prefer Stock kernel for its stability and i don't prefer underclocking or overclocking my device

[Q] Kernel for cm10????

Fusion Kernel v3.4 or Fusion Kernel v3.5 or LuPuS-JBv2 or which kernel is the best for CM10? Thx
Fusion kernel 3.4 Non OC is the best for FXP CM10 latest version.
Look at my signature for the link to the CM10 fixes.

why??...for performance or battery save or what?....
anyone have try with Lupus?
I've tried lupus kernel... It's great regarding performance and tweaking cpu speeds... But battery life is lesser than stock....
Just my experience

i have try and it's true...battery life is lesser than stock...but it's very good performance kernel
I have used lupus and fusion 3.5 with paranoid android jb rom and aokp jb rom. and i agree with most above for battery/performance issue. if you want battery go fusion also it is no less in performance as compared to lupus (IMHO). :good:
it's better Fusion v3.4 or 3.5???
...and why?
from what users say on forum fusion 3.4 is stable for youtube issues while 3.5 has some issues with youtube. rest i havent encountered problems with fusion 3.5 . i think you should try both yourself for better experiance .:good:
Try Lupus v2 with Supremacy Script v2, battery should be better.
Arc Fusion + Supremacy Script v1 is smooth and has good battery (3 days on mine)
is arc fusion 3.4 can use for the upcoming fxp cm10 release or only current release ?
is the battery in this kernel good ?

A few cutom kernel questions :)

Hey ,
So I was thinking of flashing either Doomkernel or Lupus and I was wondering what are the advantages of flashing a custom rom other than ability to over and under clock ? Also is stock kernel more stable and should i stick to it or go for cutom kernel ? And which one of Lupus or Doomlernel you recommend and which one is better for battery ? Also Is custom kernel worth it If I am not going to over or under clock much ?
Also more importantly can I go back to stock kernel later if i want ?
Thanks
Use custom kernel and start overclocking. Thats all you need to know.

Yes u can go back to stock kernel by flashing stock.ftf file via flashtool there is a thread in general with all firmwares. Search for "xperia play firmwares". Also my kernel is based on DooMLoRDs but just updated/few more features. Personally I feel theres a difference. Try it out and see if u like it. If you dont just simply flash the STOCK ftf via flashtool and your back to the way it was.

what kernel do you prefer, Lupus v8 or Turbo kernel?

I am trying to decide witch kernel i need out of these two. turbo kernel 3.1 or lupus v8
both have pros and cons
Turbo kernel 3.1 (PROS) can install mostly all android versions (GB and up) both stock and aokp
Turbo kernel 3.1 (CONS) has a small but annoying glitch, in stock ics based rom screen animations are broken
lupus v8 (PROS) does all its supposed to.
lupus v8 (CONS) Can only install akop roms, ALS is disabled

Id say turbo has more pros and it's only con is in stock ics while lupus can't even use stock ics. But I think lupus has a little better performance though it'd hard to tell with jelly bean

depends...
if you want performance and speed(which most jb and ics roms don't have)you should use the Turbo kernel.
but if you want android's features, such as voice typing(offline)and other things you can use both, but i recommend turbo again(it's my favorite kernel,i manged to have all of JB features on it,but unfortunately i deleted the JB rom(slimbean) by accident)

i ll say turbo kernel 3.1 its better overall..and its newer than lupus jbV8..performance wise its very similar..in some JB roms i have more antutu score with lupus, others with turbo..little difference in each case..but just for more options, i d go with turbo 3.1.
