Before I get incinerated, I did search but could not find what i was looking for.
I am looking for a completely stock rom with only CIQ and Knox removed, i would like all the other bloat and crapware on it. also no other mods that can potentially cause future issues.
I was running the Darthstalker but it seems to now have a few severe glitches and Jovy is no longer supporting it.(Which i do not blame him, he has done a lot for just donations and has a life of his own.)

Thanx, But yes i did. for some reason that rom of his is also having a lot of FC and reboot and freezing issues. thats why i am thinking if i went bone stock minus the couple things i mentioned i may not have this problem.
Try jovy's: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2545711

And are you sure you did a full wipe? You can also just flash the stock firmware with Odin and then just root
Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk
Yep did full wipes, After reading thru there threads it seems quite a few are having this issue lately with Jovys rom. may be a conflict with a updated app or something.
I am going to play around between wicked and Sickness Rebirth for a bit. hopefully there will be a just slightly modified 4.4 tmobile tw in the future.

Won't this work without a port since it's t-mobile? I'm running wicked v6 from t-mobile and all I needed to do is add apns and flash a kernel.

Why thank you sir.
V3 or V4?
As we wait for the upload - can you tell me which version of FROSTY this is based on?
there was a new update for Frosty (being uploaded right now I beleive) and I didn't know if this was Ver 3 or Ver 4?
(regardless - thank you for porting it - it is an incredible ROM)
I loaded Frosty v4 on my ATT phone, it works absolutely flawlessly. Everything about it is perfect.....except for no BT tethering. I think i can get that working though.
I did too, along with Ktoons' latest TW kernel. So far, seems much better than other stock JB roms/leaks available.
is the download Link on the T-Mobile page.
Yes and the link to the tmobile thread is in the OP
Thank your sir

A few reboots with whatever kernel it came with, maybe I need to get Ktoons' latest on there. How's your battery life looking?
Battery life is better than the other JB TW roms. A little too early to tell, but I think it may be less and AOKP. That should be expected though since AOSP based roms are so stripped down. My phone is actually rebooting now from me putting the original kernel back in it to try it out. I couldn't get KTweaker to work, it kept force closing on me.
What do I need to do to flash a TMobile Rom???
I'm not saying this will work for you, but for me I just flashed it like I would any other. I believe I read somewhere that this will only work for tmobile roms. Do not try to flash a verizon or sprint rom.
You will have to put in your apn's yourself, but they are easy enough to find.
Hi all i have a couple of question and rather put them all in one thread than opening a new one everytime... so here we go :

The one in this parent forums sub forum, try launchers like nova, apex, go, hold the phone differently or move your router or use 2.4ghz not 5g if that applies to you, I've heard wifi fixer helps.

T999 roms should work. Just have a nandroid handy and don't flash any of the Tmobile modems.
Sent from my SGH-T999 using xda app-developers app
All the T-Mobile roms work on the T999v (I have a t999v on Wind). This includes AOSP roms, TouchWiz and the JellyBean leaks. Same goes for kernels. As mentioned before, just don't touch any radios/modems as they will not work.

Good battery life will be ROM dependent. The ICS roms based on touchwiz should have similar battery life. I also have decent battery life on the AOSP Jellybean roms. The Jellybean touchwiz leaks are a bit more touchy. Some users report lower battery life on some ROMs though it has been improving gradually

That's ypur baseband/modem. It will remain the same when you flash roms. No rom should affect the modem in any way (as far as flashing is concerned).
So yes you can freely flash roms. But do not flash any modems not intended for your model phone!

No you do not need to reflash your modem. They are independent of each other.

Exactly. They are on different partitions. When you flash a rom the baseband will remain the same.
The only time this matters is when you are flashing an ota patch. Then you must be full stock, modem and all.

Thanks a whole lot guys i will be flashing my first custom rom today !! I want to try a jb/aosp but how is camera quality ?
Sent from my SGH-T999V using xda premium
AOSP camera has less features than the touchwiz camera but it's not like you're physically changing the camera itself, so the quality should be the same.
This cm10 aosp rom is loaded whit win !

As the title says what roms do you guys like best. I don't have much time with work and my home business to try them out atm. And not having my note rooted is driving me nuts, its been 4 days since I got it, lol.
There's very little difference imo. Clean Rom is great if you want the most basic stock experience. If you want multi window feature, you'll have to use one of the others

A lot of people have been reflashing back to stock form CleanRom due to problems with LTE.
there are so few mc2 ROMs and they are all broken in some way. why are the good devs staying away from it?

Thing is that it's not that big of an update to completely redo a whole rom. Plus MA7 has nothing wrong in my opinion.

Yup, and many of us are waiting for 4.2.2 TWiz to bother with another update on TWiz ROMs...unless there are glaring bugs.
OP, when Samsung releases an updated firmware...they basically completely rewrite where everything is located...which essentially means that you have to start completely from zero, figuring out where the hell Samsung hid what and figuring out again what needs done to change what....it is the definition of a software root canal.

As I stated, I have not had any of the problems you just noted, its running smooth from the day I flashed it on my phone, I do have say though that I went completely back to bone stock with the Odin-one-click from @rwilco12 found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2591898 before I flashed digiblur's Rom
Maybe that can help you
