I have tried a lot but unable to use flash tool rightly. What happened with me is that when I reach at step where you hit the "upgrade start" button it opens up whole B2Cappsetup instead of " country and language" pop up. What should I do here ? Please help!

Could u please guide me through the process of converting f180l to e975 english version, i have downloaded the hong kong kdz file, downloaded the flashtool as well, the f180l baseband files, but i dont know how to use the flashtool and flash the baseband files after flashing the e975 firmware. A stepwise guide would be really appreciated,
plz follow this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2010624
Yep, follow that thread. You need to secure a copy of the F180L modem driver (zip), otherwise your telephony will be buggy or not even working.
The goal is to be able to boot to TWRP or CMW and/or access fastboot.
Do the steps on that thread first then post the issues here if you are not successful or if you encounter error along the way.

I have installed the stock rom, my phone is up now, alive , but i want to convert it to E975 english version, i need the guiding steps to convert my f180l to e975. I have already downloaded the Hong kong rom, baseband files, flashtool etc, just need the exact steps to go through.
KDZ or flashtool (recommend the latter) the same way you did with korean stock rom. After the flashsing done, wait for the phone to boot up, then turn off and do a hard reset. Then root, install recovery and use that to flash a baseband for your model. Gl

[Q] [HELP] Phone Soft Bricked, no tool working

Well, let me explain what happens...
I have an LG Optimus G, which I've rooted. I wanted to install CWM, but I didn't read at the tutorial that this wouldn't work with the bootloader locked. I restarted the phone and it tells me a "Secure Booting Error".
I can access Download Mode, and there I've tried the LG Mobile Support Tool, which always tells me that "Battery is low". I've tried unplugging the battery, but the same. If I could bypass this error, probably I could have again my phone alive. I tried using also the FlashTool, but it says the kdz is corrupt (>1GB) and when doing a test upgrade, it shows again the battery trouble.
What should I do? Shall I buy a new battery? Or is there any other method to bypass this message?
Thanks for your time and your patience.

It's not just a key combination... To enter download mode, you should turn off your phone (hold Power for >15 sec), then hold both Volume buttons and connect the phone by a USB cable to your computer. Is this exactly what you are doing? And it's not working?

Restore stock KDZ after custom rom

I want to restore my stock LG E975 kdz after using a custom rom and CWM recovery. First I put the phone in download mode, run KDZ FW UPD tool and it begins to extract kdz file. But as soon as it begins Param 1, the phone enters recovery mode and the upgrade program loses connection.
What do I need to do to flash the stock KDZ now?

glad it helped man!
For anyone else with the same problem:
I got stuck in a boot loop with the LG logo after flashing the kdz, likely due to the unlocked bootloader left by the custom roms.
I fixed that by doing a hard factory reset (volume down and power button). all fixed

E980 doesn't go past Splash Screen after flash rom

So, I was looking at the thread for the Sphinx Mod and i decided to download v1.2.
I did a restore to stock V10k, rooted, installed cwm for freegee
Went into CWM and flashed the Sphinx zip first
Then flashed the patch for F240s and i read somewhere in that thread s patch worked
I successfully booted but then i did not have a signal so i though i needed to reflash baseband
So i did but now it does not boot up and only stays at the lg splash screen
I tried to restore back but it says the phone is now a different model
I tried using the LG mobile support tool to flash the kdz panama or telecel but i get an error
I need some assistance.

If you can still get into recovery, wipe everything and format system. then flash without flashing baseband.(GET IT TO BOOT). charge it and then flash back to stock with lg flash tool. download the tot file for the E980. I hope this helps

2) hold the power and volume button until hard reset menu apears.
3) if it does shows push the power button three times to get to recovery?(thats how i usually get to recovery).

Lg h185 vodafone

Guys need help desperately been fighting with the phone since Tuesday,
lg H815 G4 was on Marshmallow (MM) and I wanted to go back to a previous version to lollipop (LL) so I decided to download the LGUP application on my Computer I had then found a KDZ for my phone which was a 10B/C . I started it up and it hanged at 11%. So I thought oh well will be able to turn the phone back and continue using it on MM, however when I turned the phone on it will just hang on the LG logo and then force itself to go into download mode. I assume that the Previous OS has been deleted so it can only go into Download mode or Factory Reset. So now I am trying to get it back alive, however whenever I use LGUP I am getting the same error code at 11%. My DLL version for LGUP is 0.0.4.0. When it reaches 11% it hangs for about 10-15 seconds and shows a error code whilst being on the "modem" step. the error code it shows is: Error: Error Code = 0x2000, [ERROR] RX TIMEOUT : 5.0. I was also trying the Lg 2014 tool and that was not working neither is LG bridge update recovery and Lg flash tool is also not working. whilst reading this thread I realise I can only use LGUP as the phone is/was on MM. I have also used around 7 different KDZ all not working
Please I need help to fix the phone as someone is coming to buy it tomorrow (Friday)
I await for your response (s)
Lg is a UK H815 FROM VODAFONE WAS PREVIOUSLY ON V20i
Huh. Did you think about trying another KDZ?
Also, try the following:
1. Try it on another PC
2. Reinstall every single LG software you have, and try again with a DIFFERENT kdz
3. Try a different cable
4. Try changing the COM port of your phone. IDK if it will help you, but when my old LG G2 had issues with download mode, I'd just change the COM port to 41 and it would work.
Good luck!
