[Q] No data after rumrunner - Verizon HTC One (M7)

So I just got back from India, where I was using an Indian sim with my vzw HTC One. When I got back, I was getting signal, but no data. I could get 1x data if I manually switched the radio using an lte on/off app, but thats it.
So I RUU'd to 605.15 and LTE was working again. Then, after successfully running rumrunner, again, no data. Any idea what the problem is?

Pretty strange. Rumrunner should not affect data in any way. Have you tried to flash back to the stock recovery, and then do a factory reset? You are unlocked and s-off now right?

Yeah its strange. Mainly that data DOES work on untouched stock, but stops working after I s-off/unlock with rumrunner. I went to a verizon store and swapped the sim card, and this seems to have solved the problem. But I'm still curious why the problem occured in the first place.

Actually I bet it would still have the OTA updates installed. If you want to go back to full stock you can download the .exe from the top of this thread and run it on your computer with the Evo plugged in.

I have used it twice and it works without hiccup. Goodluck!
Ive been trying with no luck. I even have a rooted version of 1.47 installed and I cant get into any custom recoveries to allow me to do a nandroid restore. Its driving me insane. Despite every spouting off about the ruu utillity, it DOES NOT WORK. Any ideas of how to fix all of this?
I cannot get this to work either. It keeps telling me that it cannot communicate with my phone.
The bootloader was updated (this happened with radios on Windows Mobile phones back in the day) - there is no downgrading from this point.

Thank you... Guess I'll have to wait for the tether root for this... update
So basically because the bootloaders where updated we are unbale to use any of the Stock ROMs listed in the wiki?

Correct. None of them will work.

No SIM card. Simlocked?

After upgrading to CM7.0.2 from 7.0, I started getting a message that there was no simcard in my phone. It looks like there is a simlock on my phone now. Does anyone know how I can fix this or remove the simlock?
My phone is unlocked and rooted.
Thanks!
I've had this issue before and a simple reboot fixed it; if that doesn't work, restore from your nandroid backup and redownload the update and reflash
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA App
Downgraded to 6.1.1, ran gfree, and it seems to be working fine now

Noob Attempting Root

I have a Verizon HTC One and I cannot seem to root it. All the programs I have used to unlock the bootloader have failed. I tried rumrunner and kingo. im on Hboot 1.55 and 4.3
Completely stock. this is my first time attempting anything root related.
CWM?
Do you have Clockwork mod installed? JDK or Android SDK installed?

There is no method for unlocking the current 4.3 update. You're just going to have to wait for now.

SOB I just got my HTC one yesterday and I let it update to 4.3 after 8 hours after purchase!
I need this thing rooted to use ARliberator on my pioneer app2radio2.
After update though my internet connectivity seems to be messed up. I get random times where the data upload / down seems to do nothing, no streaming, Facebook, webpages with a full 4g signal that never had issues on my galaxy S3. They swapped my SIM card but still having issues.
I may take it back and return for another but verify it's not on 4.3.

It is a little bit of a late reply, but that is one of the reasons I returned mine. My new one comes in tomorrow and will likely have 4.2.2 on it. Mine as well replace it so you can get root too

Radio = Dead, Need help flashing new radio

Woke up today with the radio dead on the latest Cyanogenmod. Wiped and reinstalled, still dead.
I tried a couple methods to flash the latest radio but nothing has worked.
I am still on CM11 with bootloader unlocked with S-On.
Any ideas?
Otherwise I'm about to head over to Verizon and get another phone.
Have you tried flashing a different rom? Did you recently do something before it stoped working? What do you mean by dead? Is it connected but dosent work, or is it noy connecting to the network at all?
You need s-off to flash radios, kernals, etc.

I was running a CM11 nightly for like 7 days with no issues. Woke up this morning and it just stopped connecting to the network entirely. I tried flashing stock Rom and nothing.
Well as stated above, you need to use firewater to get s-off, then you can flash the kk firmware. It may solve your problem, but it seems strange to work one day and not the next without changing anything. It could be hardware failure. What baseband (radio) version are you currently on?
No worries man I got a free warranty replacement and just got the GS5 today.

HTC 10 unable to flash RUU or use SD card method to update.

I am S-OFF, BS_US001, 2PS650000, BUT relocked and stock boot/recovery.
trying to fix my issue with mobile data being disconnected since I have taken the latest update for the US Unlocked (2.48.617.11 > 2.50.617.2) I am unable to reflash or even downgrade at this point via using RUU or SD card method....
Using the RUU, I get ERROR:155 after being stuck around 3% and so I would have to use "fastboot reboot" in order to get out of the screen cause it failed *NOTE* I have tried SuperCID and still nothing
Using the SD card method it fails on the last part with the following * NOTE* I have tried using the full zip of the latest OTA (1.89gb~) and this is the error I get
33 RU_UPDATE_FIRMWARE_FAIL

Completely at a loss here, everything is perfectly fine except I cannot get a data connection with my provider.
Some added information here tho..
The SIM is not an issue, plugged into my old M8 and it gets data connection there
Everything was working fine before the latest update
I was relocked a while back so I was able to take OTA's without an issue till now.
Any suggestions/Help would be grateful as I spent a good chunck of my day already trying to get my data to work :crying:

I noticed the new RUU is now posted on HTC's website. Follow the instructions for a manual update.

If your firmware didn't flash then your radios aren't going to work either = no data connection.

Here's the thing tho, unless I'm doing it completely wrong (download mode > click the RUU and let it do its thing...) It ends up failing at 3% (3% at updating boot, and on the phone it gets stuck at 90%) and giving me error 155 even with supercid and did my phone really not auto update properly? Because I can still make out going calls and receive them its just the mobile data issue
curious if you ever got any farther on this. Just ran into exact same issue myself....
