And randomly after a restart its not rooted anymore.
Like it never was in the first place.
EDIT:

I recently tried the WM6.1 version on my dash and it worked fine. I actually flashed it twice with this update and I had no problems. So last night I decided to put the original update from t-mobile back on my phone and so I downloaded this update from their website and flashed it onto there with no problems. I waited a whole night and decided that I didn't like it as much as I like 6.1 so I decided to put that version back on and now whenever I get to the point where it is updating, it goes to about 3% and then my phone restarts and the program lets me know that the version of the ROM is corrupt. I've tried downloading a different copy of the same ROM but it still happens.
I'd like to know how to fix this so I could continue using wm6.1 in my phone.
Thanks!
You need to unlock your phone.
Follow the manual that is stickied in page 1
Hello, always went thru all the posts on the forum never really had a problem which i wasnt able to find a solution here.
As the Title states i rooted my phone with acehack and flashed 6.1.3 ARHD ROM after a while updated it 6.1.4 after a superwipe everything was working perfectly fine on the 11th i updated to 6.1.5 the entire i couldn't receive any call i got nor call anyone and they weren't getting any SMS i sent them either i fixed it by flashing the same ROM again but now the Phone has become so laggy it takes me 19 to 22 sec to open camera nothing has been changed after 6.1.4.
Is there a fix for this? i require it badly i deleted 6.1.4 ROM from Harddisk not able to find it here to flashing it,I tried to post this question in the ARHD thread but i dont have 10 posts
Good day,
I'm wondering if anyone has gone through this; it goes like this, last night I flashed my n7100 Note 2 with a stock rom 4.1.2 XEF (France)(the same exact rom I used to flash my phone with for 10ths of times) nothing went wrong as Odin completed the processes successfully (apparently) rebooting the phone to finalize the installation, however it booted into the previously installed system, including all of the apps I installed earlier, in other words nothing's changed at all, I hope I'm making sense, I tried two different computers ending with the same result, how come it worked like charm before and now it does not? Thanks again for any advice.
OK so i rooted my phone along time ago and it been running smoothly. I've used different roms that worked fine no issue well i recently tried a new rom it ran smoothly for about 2 weeks, then i tried rebooting it and it got stuck on the Samsung galaxy s III. i reloaded the rom it worked until i rebooted then it got stuck on the same screen again. Well 8 reloads and 3 roms later its still doing the same smh any suggestions if so it will be greatly appreciated.thanks
Do you have your phone under volted? Or have apps set to not boot at start up
I'd just Odin back to stock MD4, if you didn't take the 4.3 OTA, MK3 if you did. then start from square 1.
sounds like perhaps something has become corrupted.
Hi everyone. I received my very first Android phone a couple of days ago, a Samsung Galaxy Ace 2. I did some research on the Android OS (my phone came with Gingerbread) and I found out about Cyanogenmod. So today, I installed C11 (found it right here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2568105) after a lot of sweat and blood... And I got it to run nicely, but I noticed I can't get my network to work. The phone was previously unlocked (I bought it used), and when I first tried my SIM on it, it worked.
When I first had to install CWM in order to be able to install the ROM, I succeeded in rooting it, and I noticed that the phone was still rooted after flashing it (though I don't know if that came along with C11). But anyway, I can't get my network to work; I removed the battery and the SIM a couple of times, but it didn't work. Now I don't know what to do. Could anyone please give me a hand on this? I know nothing about Android. Thanks in advance.
CM11 requires JB (4.1.2) - Sound like you flashed CM11 onto GB (2.3.6)
This can't work.
The thing is that I was trying to install an AOSP ROM (found in these forums as well) before trying with C11, and I wiped the data, formatted the system... So the phone was left without an OS. I didn't just "update" the OS, if you know what I mean. And C11 is working fine except for the mobile network.
EDIT: If I install a clean JB 4.1.2. and then restore to my current CM11, do you think that could solve the network issue?
Again: You need JB! With JB there are also other partitions which are needed to be new (on JB)
And Yes - Data restoring could work - But not recommended.... I would do an clean new install...
Please do not start an discussion... again: You needed JB.. (just to be sure)
Uhm, I never intended to start a discussion, I was trying to explain what I did. Thank you for replying anyway. I'll let you know if I get the network to work.
Sorry - I don't what to sound outrageous... But those questions were asked to many times... Here on XDA ACE 2 section...
