OK so i rooted my phone along time ago and it been running smoothly. I've used different roms that worked fine no issue well i recently tried a new rom it ran smoothly for about 2 weeks, then i tried rebooting it and it got stuck on the Samsung galaxy s III. i reloaded the rom it worked until i rebooted then it got stuck on the same screen again. Well 8 reloads and 3 roms later its still doing the same smh any suggestions if so it will be greatly appreciated.thanks
Do you have your phone under volted? Or have apps set to not boot at start up
I'd just Odin back to stock MD4, if you didn't take the 4.3 OTA, MK3 if you did. then start from square 1.
sounds like perhaps something has become corrupted.

Like the title says everytime i install a custom rom and it boots up for the first time it runs smooth but after 10 mins or so it just freezes and even after trying a battery pull or restarting from recovery it just freezes at the boot animation the only thing that has worked was restoring it back to stock original rom via Odin also phone will not root this is not my first time installing a rom and i have installed many roms on many devices and have not encountered this problem until a couple of days ago i had been running PACMAN Rom for Note 2 for almost 3 weeks and everything was smooth until 2 days ago when i started getting force closures the only thing i had done was tryout a new launcher call Buzz Launcher i uninstalled it to see if that was the problem but was still getting constant freezing and after my phone would not accept a charge via the usb cable or power brick if any one else has had this problem or knows of a solution i would appreciate it thanks i can't stand stock android and its driving me nuts. Also yes i do a full wipe/factory reset/dalvik cache & cache reset before any rom install
Good day,
I'm wondering if anyone has gone through this; it goes like this, last night I flashed my n7100 Note 2 with a stock rom 4.1.2 XEF (France)(the same exact rom I used to flash my phone with for 10ths of times) nothing went wrong as Odin completed the processes successfully (apparently) rebooting the phone to finalize the installation, however it booted into the previously installed system, including all of the apps I installed earlier, in other words nothing's changed at all, I hope I'm making sense, I tried two different computers ending with the same result, how come it worked like charm before and now it does not? Thanks again for any advice.
[Q] issue regarding ||ROM||==》Jedi MasterX《==||4.3||MULTICARRIER||=》12|13《=|
Hi
I just flashed Jedi Masters and I am having issues. I am on Rogers network. The phone boots up it connects to the network for 5 minutes and the looses its connections and it never connects again.. has any one experience this issue?
This is what I did... I was on Jedi 18, reverted back to stock, updated to 4.3 and then used trwp to install Jedi Masters Rom. It took couple of tried and the flash went through, first 2 flashed the phone was stock on Note screen.
I have tried reflashing the room but the same problem comes up..
Please
Thanks
Hello,
I had on my Note 2 t0ltecan Dn3V5 and it started to restart ever so often and my youtube app dissapeared and woudnt work. So I tried to wipe the data and it didnt work, from many TWRP versions and Philz recovery. Then i used Odin to install a stock rom, which then finally everything worked and I then tried to restore my Dn3.
Everything worked except my Action Memo which stopped working so I did the procedure again. Samething, so I tried installing Dn3V5 rom instead of restore. It didnt work because it kept saying bad zip, I tried TWRP 2.8+, 2.7.1, 2.6.3, 2.6.1, 2.5 and Philz. Only 2.5 worked but it woudnt boot after the graphic logo. Then i tried again and the same thing. So i restored again and this time it either doesnt boot after graphic logo or I get IMS Framework problem.
What should I do, restore Stock or DN4?? What could my problem be?
UPDATE:
I used odin again to install stock kernel again, this si the farthest I have got with it booting and not restarting. It is still doing that, sometimes more than others, but I have disabled 5 apps, one google play services and the other google chrome. So far so good, nothing has happened but I will have to experiment more.
I have been formating it many times and closing and opening it by taking out battery, will that affect my phone?
UPDATE 2:
I found the problem, I used my bros Note 2 battery and everything ran fine. My original battery died so I had bought a second hand battery. The whole time (for 2 months) it was causing me problems but I did not realize. After ripping the sticker off the battery I figured out it says 2000mAh on the inside XD.
I'm running stock 5.1.1 rooted. Whenever the battery dies on the tablet, it will go into a bootloop when I charge it and turn it back on (gets to Samsung logo with no start up music). So far, that only thing that seems to work is wiping data. Has anyone experienced something similar? Bad install maybe?
I've had the same thing happen to me last night. I tried everything and nothing worked. I had to restore a old back up i had with twrp and it started fine. Not sure what causes it though.
I've been having this problem for 6 months now. Let me try a custom rom.

Update the twrp tp latest version.I had the ame problem with old twrp but now all is fine with 3.0.2.0.
mine just started doing this. i can boot into recovery but the touch screen doesn't respond. i can also get into odin. I believe i was running Rooted Stock 5.1.1. Should i just reflash (i was thinking of going custom like LineAge) or do i need to reflash stock rom? I was also reading about just flashing the PIT and EFS. i know it's a 3 year old tablet at this point, but it's been good to me and i'd like to increase my odds of bringing it back to life
