where are you getting an error message and what is your error message?
I bought mine refurbished, so it wouldn't connect the first time.
I had to hold down the power button until it started blinking (on the Media Link) to reset the device
and then I was able to connect.

I had the same issue with media link hd connection. I'm on unlocked HTC ONE with ViperOne ROM. ViperOne team release fix mod for this. See it attached and try it. It is obiviously recommended to nand backup before flash anything

I cannot get past the start up screen! I have the CDMA diamond used
HSPL057 and attempted to update to SWIFTBL WWE DIAMOND ROM V7.5 (FULL) And now it will not go past the boot up screen!! What can I do?
you installed a GSM rom.
you need to do more reading.
1) Reading would have told you the differences between the devices and would have informed you you need hte correct one for your device.
2) you're not the only one who has done this if you do a search you will find how to recover from this issue.
3) i cant stress enough to read first do later. it helps you prevent situations like this.

The instructions said it was for SPRINT CDMA devices, that is what I have- I have searched all through out these posts and cannot find out how to recover from this. Can you please help if you know how?

Hi todaytoo.
Don't worry if you can get the bootloader screen just re flash a CMDA ROM from these Diamond forums.
(enter Bootloader by pushing the reset button while holding volume down key on the side)

Once in bootloader mode connect to your PC via usb lead, wait for drivers to load, then
run a CDMA ROM.
Which CDMA ROM is best to use
I want to make sure that I chose one that will work this time....please suggest one..and Thank you sooo much!!!!!!!!!

Read all the posts from the CDMA ROM page to get feedback and questions answered etc, and do a little more research via the "Search this forums" button before posting a query.
I guess we all started as XDA newbie's, so don't worry.

ok...its not working
ok, im at the bootload screen...I can connect to active sync. I downloaded the CDMA ROM it came in .rar format I changed to it .exe at when i run the ROM it does not do anything....
ok, now its not connecting to activsync....
Is there a trick that im not doing?
renamed a .rar file to an .exe ...new to computing?
You need to unpack/extract the rar file, just like a zip file.
Use winrar, when extracted all the goodies will be revealed!

Dude, search a bit in the forum for things!!
I've read all posts on the issue because it seems to be a common one , here's the story, I received this phone from a friend already bricked , what happens wen I try turnin it on it just stuck in booting
I can't hard reset
I can't flash, I either get invalid vendor I'd or model Id. Or curropt file ,
I already kno its not cid unlocked and apparently no form of unlocking was done to it ,
But in its current state what can be done , because I've tried everything already within my knowledge
One other issue is I don't kno what is the stock rom for it so I can't flash without getting invalid vendor I'd , it unbranded and just says htc ,

Anybody ? I know its a simple fix , I just wanna know what can be done
all i can think of is download the htc ROM (in the official roms sticky)since its an unbranded phone and hold camera while powering on and flash. sorry I cant be much help in this area, just and idea I dont know if you tried it yet.
I did try all htc roms and it says invalid vendor I'd or incorrect model

i have the same problem when flash to energy rom, it just stucks at booting screen and i cant do nothing about it, i cant connect to usb, what should i do ???

Did you CID unlocked your device before? If so, try an original rom from the sticky posted in the first page.
it wasnt
but its offficial now i tried all the roms there
none works
Then CID unlock it now. . .That's the problem for why you cant use any other ROMs.

there is still no way to cid it because i cant in the stock rom for it
it keeps telling me invalid vendor id or model id

My recommendation is that you contact your carrier and see if they can flash it to an original rom. HTC also can provide you a solution and hopefuly they can give you the original rom of your excalibur.

It's not a dead case, if you can get it to bootloader your S621 is not dead try again to flash in different PC's and see what happens. See this thread it may be helpful http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=534725 because it definitely gives you hope.
Try this:
* Shut Down the device
* hold down the camera button located to the right of the space bar for like 10 seconds,
* while still holding it down plug the USB in and you should see the menu come up with three colors.
* This is where you load your original ROM and can connect with ur PC .......
* perform Install the OLD ROM (After Installation page seems to be stuckon T-Mobile Logo but give it 1-2 Minuts and it will switch to Cold Boot Device configuration)
* make sure @ll is ok : then Reboot
* Install the Updated one from NRG

I'm looking for a stock HTC Rom that'll unroot my Desire (Hopefully it won't be needed) but every one i've tried fails, my phone is locked to Vodafone UK, although there is no Vodafone apps or anything on it. I've included a screenshot of what my phones running..
I've looked everywhere and like I said, none of them work. Also I'm having trouble downloading ANYTHING from shipped-roms

do u want to unroot your phone or get rid of your simlock?
those are 2 different things, they have nothing to do with each other.
if you want to unroot, use "unrevoked". a prog that will do it for you. but read before you actually do it, otherwise you might end up bricking your phone.
if you want to unlock your simcard you'll either have to pay your provider to do it or go to any mobile shop on the street where they'll unlock it in a matter of minutes for a couple dollars.

Im uploading RUU_Bravo_Froyo_Vodafone for you to MultiUpload.
Just Connect the Phone via USB to your PC, boot into Fastboot und run the RUU.exe

I am trying to flash my friends One X and I am having difficulty getting the bootloader unlocked. Its followed the video guide on here and got to the Unlock_code.bin part but the cmd prompt is saying unable to connect to device (remote). Also now when I boot normally in to sense it does a weird screen flashing thing??
Any ideas?
Ps. ive been rooting a fair while now so I have some knowledge (s3/desire)

did you install htc sync for the drivers, and go to the bootloader and wait for windows to detect it?

If you have been rooting for a while then you know that this question belongs in the Q&A's and not the Dev Section.
I'm sorry, I might be in the wrong forum but since there's no ONE XL lol. So I bought this ONE XL from Hong Kong and I'm in Mexico. I got the phone and everything was great until it prompted me to update my software so I clicked yes, it updated to 4.1 something with sense 4+ and then it prompted me to update again so I clicked yes. Thing is it updated to 4.2.2 with sense 5. Everything was good until I realized I could access my phone as storage divice so I can't transfer file in or out of it. There is no CONNECT TO PC option. And another thing, it erased the SPANISH phone language (i need it because i share the phone with my gf). So I did some research and found out about morelocale 2 which would allow me to add Spanish back again but turns out I need SU access. So I thought it would be much easier to just flash a rom and use something with 4.0.3 again. The phone was already sim-unlocked and with S-OFF so all I did was unlock the bootloader but when I flash a recovery like clorckwork or twrp it goes to a white HTC SCREEN LOGO and in red letters thes this "this build is made for development purposes only...." and then it reboots like 3 times and starts the phone up normal again. Anyone knows what can I do? Or what am I doing wrong? Thanks.
