this morning i replace my touch screen digitizer and lcd now my phone wont power on, at all the orange light comes on when its chargeing but wont power on need help please all the screens are brand new
You're sure that everything got hooked back up correctly?
The ribbon cables can sometimes be quite painful. I would also ensure the power button is connected correctly...
Hi, sorry if this is in the wrong place.
I just replaced my digitizer but now the damn phone won't switch on, I had it switched on and working perfectly after the screen refit but when I powered off to put in my sim card, it wouldn't switch back on,
When I plug my charger in the LED will not even come on.
I read that some people had the same problem with ipod screen refits, and the solution was to short the battery terminal, I really don't understand how to do that, plus it is a different thing altogether.
Has anyone had experience in this?
Thanks for reading
When I say the LED won't come on, I mean the LED that usually comes on when plugged in and charging.
I dropped my HOX and I got another HOX with working mainboard. I replaced it and everything worked except for very faint backlight and flickering. So I disassembled the phone and put it back together again. Now I can't start the phone anymore and the solid red led burns when connected to the charger....after I connect it it flickers one time, very fast. Does anyone have an idea what it could be? So pissed of right now...
Hi, if you don't have any power at all eg no vibration or lights on three bottons at the bottom, it could be that the power connecter is not properly plugged in. follow cabble down from power button, plug is hard to get at unless you unstick power button from cassie.
If you have some power check lcd is working by using a bright light near the screen and closely checking to see if you can see anything, could be backlight not working.
just my 2cents
feel bad for ya!

Okay, I have experienced the same thing and I'll tell you what I did to fix it. I dropped my HOX after owning for only a few days and the screen was cracked. I ordered a replacement LCD/ screen digitizer part and took it apart. One of the things that I found was that there was adhesive everywhere, including adhesive on the connection to the battery.
After it was taken apart, I attempted to test the new screen. It was then the LED turned solid red and the phone would not power on (even after 10 minutes of charging). What I did was remove the adhesive from he battery connector and disconnected the battery completely. I plugged it back in 10 seconds later and it turned back to flashing green (which is normal because I had several missed texts).
So my solution was just to unplug the battery and it worked just fine. The hardest part about this whole process was putting the cover back on, especially on the side with volume buttons! Hope that helps.
I have exactly the same problem. The difference is that now that I took it off charge, the red light is flickering on and off. I cannot get the display to show! Please please help.
Hi everyone,
Replaced the screen on my LG G3, and now it won't turn on. Before I removed the screen, the battery was completely dead and I let it sit for a week and a half completely dead. I tested the battery with a multimeter and it shows about 2.7V across the + and -. But, the other terminals, it shows between 2.2V and 2.5V. When I plug the phone in now, there are no LED lit or anything. I tried just plugging the motherboard into a wall charger and even still, no LED lights. Oddly enough, though, I plugged the old screen back in(As well as the phone charger) and the backlight came on randomly for a second when I pressed the power button. The backlight wouldn't come back on again until i removed the power from the wall and the battery. It also helped if i unplugged and replugged the screen. It was very random. I am thinking that the motherboard grounds to the frame or something and I missed something on the install. Any thoughts? Thanks
I replaced a cracked screen a few weeks ago. I didn't put the new screen in flush at the bottom, slight gap and as a result the new screen cracked from pressing pressure. The screen still worked but cracks got worse over time.
Also the screen would freeze now and again for a minute or so then back to working again.
Now the screen goes dead and the charging led blinks with cable in and the phone vibrates every 3 seconds or so in a permanent loop with charging cable in?
Any ideas what's damaged and if it's fixable?
