Looking for a ROM - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III

I'm wondering if there are any debloated, slim, 4.3, TouchWiz roms. Obviously it'd need to be for the Sprint GS3
Anyone know of one?

I found that one, but the ZIP file is corrupt.

Maybe a stock CM10.2 stable build? There maybe a custom kernel for it, and most 4.3 ROMs are super stable.

T-mobile kernels?

Can I flash tmobile kernels without issue on this device? I noticed someone said it in the cm10 thread, but I'd rather be sure before I try this.

I just tried trinity and it didn't work.
Same here...no go
I'm running this kernel with [CM10][Jellybro] D2Spr Nightly Kangs ROM and it's working great.

Are you guys running an AOSP ROM or TW. That could be the issue, if you're flashing a kernel that is made for a AOSP ROM on a TW ROM.

Lulz no those would not work. Those are for a completely different processor, the Exynos 4. The kernels for the us variants are for the Snapdragon S4.

Safety of ROM Toolbox for flashing roms?

I downloaded rom toolbox recently, and started looking through the roms. I found a rom I want to flash(Goodness), but I don't know how safe that feature of ROM Toolbox is on the S3. If it helps, I'm on FreeGS3.

Might I ask which ROM it is? I'm also on a mission to find the best ROM.
Lots of good ones. My personal favorite though

It will just download the rom for you so it can be flashed via recovery just like any other rom. Goodness is an excellent rom btw.
As always make sure you have a nandroid handy just in case.
I prefer stock rooted, so I use Freeza's DeoDexed stock ROM

+1 on that rom....and nice name man.

Which is the most stable stock rooted rom?

Looking for most STABLE and most STOCK Rooted.
Thanks.
Better if you find out for yourself. Also depends on what you're looking to do after flashing it.
Most roms here are almost completely stable, so just choose one and try it out.
Meeting your 2 requisites I can think of 2 roms: MDL stock rooted roms, one by evilart and another by Mr Virginia. In android development take a look

If you just root your GS4 it would be stable and stock.

No data/WiFi calling? SGH-T989

I just recently downloaded the latest kitkat carbon nightly rom for my T-Mobile GSII t989. Nice features--but I noticed WiFi/data calling doesn't work. How can I get it to function? Is there anything additional that I can flash to get this feature back?

WIFI calling only works on Touchwiz ROMs. I think the newest Touchwiz roms are Jellybean 4.1.2
There is also nothing you can flash to make it work. cwyman hit it right on the head. Flash back to a Touchwiz based rom and you have your WiFi calling back.
That sucks. Thanks, will do

Are there any links I can be directed to? Is there a rooted stock T-Mobile jellybean rom available (t989) that I can download & flash on this phone?

This is the one I've used on one occasion. It's basically what you would find out of the box, only rooted and de-odexed... There's also other stock based custom roms out there, but I can't say much for those as I never was interested in stock based custom roms.

HTC Sense Rom Port?

I know everyone is probably more focused on 4.4 TW KitKat roms. Is there anyway a sense rom 4.3 or 4.4 be ported to the Note II? I know I would need to edit the boot.img and framework. What do you think devs is the work worth it?
No, because you can use a sense theme for the launcher and add widgets.

I'm sure it's possible to port a couple things to make a sense rom, but you can just download a launcher for sense, or get a theme depending which rom you use. The rom im using had a built in sense them that worked great. That said, I dont think we should expect a sense based rom.
