Safety of ROM Toolbox for flashing roms? - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III

I downloaded rom toolbox recently, and started looking through the roms. I found a rom I want to flash(Goodness), but I don't know how safe that feature of ROM Toolbox is on the S3. If it helps, I'm on FreeGS3.

It's safe, I used it for awhile. But now I found the ROM I love.

Might I ask which ROM it is? I'm also on a mission to find the best ROM.

Lots of good ones. My personal favorite though

It will just download the rom for you so it can be flashed via recovery just like any other rom. Goodness is an excellent rom btw.
As always make sure you have a nandroid handy just in case.

I prefer stock rooted, so I use Freeza's DeoDexed stock ROM

New Stock or Custom Rom?
I experienced once when I installed custom roms there was a lot of "new" apps.
After I installed back stock rom for example the Firefox was hidden.
It wrote my phone isn't compatible. Howver I don't know why it was with the custom roms.
This is only a guess on my part, may not be true.

CM10/Kernal question

Hi, and thanks to whoever takes the time to help out,
I would like to make the jump to PhantomPhreak53 CM10, and i am currently using a GB rooted ROM nothing special, and i'd like to know which kernel to download from Chris41g's list of kernels, he has so many and all have similar/different names, Please Help
Those kernels are only for cm9. Won't work with cm10. Just use the one that's packaged with the rom.

I was curious because he specifically said to make sure to have a safe kernel and then links to the page so i assumed he intended for Chris41g's kernel to be what he had in mind for flashing his ROM, so your basically saying, i'm good to go without installing a kernel for good measure ?
No off you want a safe kernel download el29 direct boot and install it via Odin and then use that to flash cm10.

All GB Kernels are inherently safe so flash away. The new Kernel will be installed as part of the new Rom install

El29 direct boot was made specifically for flashing ics based roms. You can find it on the epic touch cm9 blog. Just do a Google search for it.

Radio options??!???

I'm coming from cm10 and I'm going to flash zedomaxs high on android rom and I read I needed a stock modem to go along with it since it's basically a stock rom and there's so many which do I chose since coming from cm10??? Any help appreciated
Sent from my SGH-T999 using xda premium
Actually its not the modem. Those should work with any of the roms here. You are thinking of the kernel I believe. Theres only a few to choose from and it boils down to preference.
If you are going to the UVALH2 update or later, you will need a purely stock kernel. Custom ones aren't working yet.

There is a new flashable radio from jelly bean leak..

flashed att note 1 rom...am i bricked? also, wheres AOKP???

i know i know stupid for not reading properly and following links from google...but i can still get into recovery and download so i assume i am ok once i flash a rom for the note 2? downloading jellybeer as we speak...
also, i cant seem to find an AOKP rom. i guess im missing that too by lack of reading...
Go dl a stock root injected rom and MAKE A BACKUP
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using xda premium
If you can get into download or recovery you should be ok. Download any NOTE 2 <---! Rom and put it on your external SD Card. Just install it from TWRP/CWM from there. AOKP isn't out for our phone yet, and I haven't seen a stock version rom either.

Closest to KK is going to be Jedi or Clearom. Both are outstanding roms, with awesome support. Check them out in the development section.

Recommend me a almost stock Touchwiz based rom

As the title says can someone recommend me a just about stock good touchwiz rom?
Just go for stock, and customize it with Wanam Xposed. That's what I did, and I'm very happy.

Check the s3 sprint android development forum. You'll find stock and other great roms.
Stock : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2541900
Also, check out moar and wicked for good 4.3 custom roms. Both are stable and have tweaks, mods, and other great stuff built in the Rom.
