[Q] Access SD card while ..

My Phone is completely Screwed.. I tried to use Odin to flash to stock while It had a bootloop issue and during the middle of the writing it slipped into another bootloop thus causing the OS to be corrupted(I'm Guessing). So I wish to know.. How Can I access the SD card while the phone is in a bootloop ? If Possible.. I just wish to get everything off of my phone to get prepared for my replacement phone..Think If I tell em My phone shut off during a ICS update they'd believe it ?.

Without at least access to a recovery, you cannot access the internal SD card. No way you can't go into download mode and Odin flash CWM?

ADB pull doesn't work? I can usually access ADB even during bootloops.

Well I have CWM on my phone but ever since I tried to use Odin to flash Back to stock it pops up and tells me to use Kies in order to fix the OS issue.

ABD Pull? Please Explain mode.. I wish to just access the SD card and grab everything off before i return this phone..

Hi there,
I have a similar problem (phone stuck on splash screen on CynogenMod 10), but I can actually reboot on recovery. THhe problem is that this recovery mode is currently useless. It does not work properly as I cannot install any zip (when I try the phone freezes)... I would like to access the internal SD, get my data and try to put on the internal SD a new version of CWM (the one that I have is clearly not working anymore if I cannot use the zips).
Any suggestions on what I can do? ADB does not recognize the phone, and Odin is not working either. They simply do not see the phone.
I cannot reboot on download mode. When I use the Vol up+down + power I only get to recovery mode...
I would really appreciate your help.

Stuck In Bootloop

changed the nav bar settings to show nav settings and then rebooted now stuck in a boot loop any help would be much app cheers :laugh:

Reflash your rom via UPDATE.APP, you probably have corrupted the build.prop

Hi, I have the same problem and I followed your instructions but while the new firmware is installing from the sd card, the phone shut down.
It seems like it has no sufficient power to finish the operation. In fact I tried to plug the phone to charge the battery and that don't work...at least the led is not on (but I'm pretty sure it's not charging).
After that the only things I can do is to power on again and see the boot loop.
Any idea on how to solve?

Yestarday in Russian forum we get rid of bootloop
just download http://4pda.ru/pages/go/?u=http://yadi.sk/d/ZzsEQXm27IgEI this custom rom
connect your phone to your computer
launch the bat file Flash All.bat
and press and hold volume down and power buttons
in PC press 1 and enter and any key.
after flash custom rom you may flash official rom
Just try it

i have the same problem, device reboot every time i try to do something, i just tryed all metods including update.app, installation start but when come to "system" point...... reboot!
i dont know what doing again to solve that problem.

Since you can actually enter the recovery i suggest that you go in manually and try to reset/wipe and see if it starts.

Get an update.app file from internet (Firmware of your choice), put it in sd card in folder named dload and enter the recovery.

Do you know the button combination to enter it? Or its not entering at all in bl mode?

Ok then last thing that i can suggest before you send it in for repair is that you download a diferent firmware (diferent update.app file) and try to flash that. If it fails again then send it.

[Q] Huawei P6 PU06 - Not booting

Hi guys,
I can get to recovery mode and the initial splash screen, but not into Android OS on my Huawei p6 U06.
I tried reflashing the rom via SD card with UPDATE.APP B111, but it still fails to boot and hangs on the splash screen.
Another weird thing is that my splash screen doesn't show the huawei logo but an android logo....
I tried to adb the phone but there are no suitable drivers for phones in recovery mode... only for USB developer mode...
Hopefully there is a fix to this.

Now I got to the screen "Android is updating... Starting apps..." but it has been taking over an hour. Is this normal or do you guys know what's wrong?

I can say its not normal.
Try to download & flash another rom, and can you get to stock recovery? Try to wipe data & cache from there. Dont know if this works but at least try it

Unmount SD and reboot into recovery, do a factory reset and insert SD. Reboot into recovery again and let it flash the New Rom. Then let it Boot and if the error still exists, unmoumt SD and do a reset. If this doesnt help, try flashing another stock Rom.

After trying B111, B118, B107, and B122 without success, the newly released B125 miraculously worked.
Everything works now. I just rooted my phone.

Hey guys, I wanted to flash HYD52ROM for EMUI2.0 and I think I bricked my phone, or it is stuck in bootloop.
I had TWRP,I followed all the steps, went to recovery and wiped everything but I forgot to put the ROM.zip on the sdcard, now my phone is stuck on Huawei Ascend logo and adc doesn't recognize my device.
What can I do ? I'm new to custom roms, so please explain it easy. Help me please !

Put your ROM.zip on your external advanced card and than reboot in recovery using all buttons at the same time and now you can flash your ROM.

Go to twrp recovery again. Plug your phone to the computer.
Press the button "mount"
And then tick external storage, and mount to usb storage.
Your computer should see your sd card, just copy your zip over.
Unmount, and in twrp go and install your zip.

P6 stuck at android logo
Hi,
I have a huawei ascend p6. It was for a whole day out of battery, when I connected it back to the charger it wouldn't boot. I'm getting the Huawei ascend screen and then an android logo which I've never seen before and from there nothing.
I can go into recovery system and I did a factory reset (not sure if that was right). I tried uploading the official firmware from an sd card but it tells me "E:failed to mount /cache (invalid argument)"
Any help would be much appreciated.

Either try downloading the firmware again or try it with another.

[Solved]Recovery mode error in A1 running marshmallow

I myself faced this and if I am not wrong you are also facing this problem.
After upgrading A1 to marshmallow you will see there is no recovery mode in your device,when you start your recovery mode only there is dead Android boot animation.
Though u have tried many times to flash recovery like CWM But all in vain.
I have a solution for them,
After flashing the recovery.img file don't type reboot command just use the following command
​ fastboot boot recovery.img
It will bring you on recovery screen ,then install your desired Zip.
Every time you need recovery mode just connect it to pc in fastboot mode and type that command to your recovery mode.
This thread is for them who really facing this problem

HI i got the new update ANDROID 6.0 MARSHMALLOW after i download successfullly when i prress restart and install .................it starts installing for few seconds then it gives error with dead android logo ....and restarts after some time and then it tells to download the update again ....i tried 3 times results were still the same every time...please help
also tried to side load manually.... ANDROID 6.0 ...after i click apply from sd card when it shows verifying system then it gives an error aborts the update ...and shows this
{system/priv-app/prebuiltgmscore.apk"has unexpected contents
E:error in /sideload/package.zip
status 7}
(MY PHONE IS NEVER ROOTED OR FLASHED OR HACKED)

It means now u r on stock lollipop so root ur device and flash custom rom like cm12.1 and njiy

No need to root just unlock bootloader ,download Zip file of marshmallow .press power button+volume up for 3 sec,select apply update Zip and select that Zip file and that it .if any problem faced ping me.

If you done above steps that mean your build no. Is not appropriate for update update lolipop 5.1.1 to latest lolipop .

Mr problem is solved
Thank you all of you...I have successfully flashed my phone from Lollipop 5.1.1 to lollipop 5.1. After that within half-hour I got the update to marshmallow... Now I have nothing to worry about... Except one problem battery drains faster than usual. And heats alot...
So I switch my phone off for a while to cool down.,.. Thank you

Battery problem is çommon issue of marshmallow but your device is heating also take a serious look on thàt .by the battery problem will be solved on next update I hope and don't worry after using 2 weeks of the phone battery will automatically stable.

If not wrong ur are missing something..
After dead android logo u have to press power button and then volume (up/down) didn't remembered exactly. Then only u will be taken to recovery mode. if on stock recovery
Other wise hitting recovery button only will take u to ur custom recovery.

I hope that part how to go to revory known to all ,So I skip it.After Marshmallow first update it does not matter you are in Stock Rom or Custom Rom ,there will be no custom Recovery mode however how hard you try to flash CWM or TWRP .I tried in 3 handset,all given same result .So, I mention how to get to Custom Recovery in an optional way.

I have rooted 2 Android one device after marshmallow. no problems at all.
using adb and unlocking Boot loader. But you have to reboot to recovery after flashing it.before rebooting system

Thats Quite interesting ,it never worked for me although I reboot in recovery first then system.After rebooting system whenever I tried Recovery mode I end up with stock recovery.Maybe some problem with flashing.

LOL
When you see android bot logo, you are in recovery mode. But recovery menu options are hidden.
After you see the dead bot logo, hold power up for 5 seconds and then hit vol up (or hold both for 5 seconds) All recovery options will be visible after this.
Its a bad idea to use a pc every time you want to boot into recovery LOL
