I can't restore EFS in Freegee. So my question is :
When doing a Backup EFS on Freegee, where do the files reside in order to restore the backup? and what are the files called.

it should have been saved on your internal memory under EFS Backup. From there you should have copied it somewhere safe.

If I flash a rom and empty all data, then wouldn't the backups be erased too? Is there any way I could transfer the backup files from phone to pc?

Custom recoveries don't touch the "sdcard" when doing a factory reset.
In other words all you have to do is wipe all your data and flash a new ROM or whatever you want to do. Boot up and open the play store and download titanium backup and batch restore all your apps back.
Yes, but doing backups to external source is not a bad idea. Always.
You can also backup to dropbox.

can you attach screenshot of backup/Restore page of titanium backup?
and have you check size of titanium backup folder?
Sir I also had taken a backup from Cwm recovery mode however as soon as I went to paranoid the restoration process showed no files present there.

You don't have any backup on device
Have you wiped device?
I think you have lost all backup when you have factory reset
It is advisable to make backup storage on ext sd card

Go to preference and then go backup location. Then click on detect and search whole device. Once located just Click on it and it will show up on the restore menu.. If you backed up on your external memory or internal memory without formatting it during the installation then it should be there.

Hi,
Is there any tutorial to restore jacked up EFS partition?
I know AutoPrime has one for CDMA (here's the link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2161498), but I'm trying to find out if there's a tool to edit the efs partition for GSM.
I don't have signal so I need help.
P.S.
I have not backed up my EFS partition.
Have you ran free gee lately or installed any cm builds? If so your efs might be backed up.

I have a backup but it was using the built-in Backup/Restore app of the LGOG. Also I got back-up using Titanium backup but i dunno if where can I find there the efs partition file (probably it only backed-up app+data? I dunno if it's system data which include the efs partition). I installed freegee but it's already too late, I already lost network connection before I installed it.

If you never unlocked then how'd you end up messing it up? Efs is a partition not something that can be backed up with titanium backup. You sure it isn't a Sim issue?

I unlocked my phone with LGNPST and installed cm11 (nightlies)
can you kindly tell me where the efs partitions might be backed up??? I am also on same issue but I resolved it by flashing some other baseband+efs(found on net) but if there is possibility of backup I would love to have my original IMEI
Hi,
This may have addressed before however I keep reading about having a back up of EFS folder before flashing a new ROM.
Is it really necessary to have a back up of the EFS folder. If so how do I back it up? Is there an app / utility for this?
I use TMobile Galaxy S4.
Thanks in advance.

Andromizer from Play Store allows you to backup/restore efs ;] I believe CWM backs up efs as well

I'm about to flash a new ROM and I already have an adequate backup for the one I'm on so I don't wanna lose space by making a new backup, is there anyway I could just backup the data and then restore that after restoring the ROM? Or should I just make an new backup and delete the old one?
