If you go through the official ROM ruu

There is no RUU if you have boot 1.7x you need a nandroid backup for it...please read some guides about how to restore nandroid backup!

Hi guys.
I installed a custom rom on my international device and i would like to return to stock but don't know what ruu to download.
I have installed CID Getter and it only says htc_044...didn't find anything any other details.
Is there a way?
Thanks!

You can probably install a newer ruu. I mean with a higher hboot than the one you have now.
It's possible to upgrade a hboot but NOT downgrade .... If i'm right you're ruu depends of the combination of hboot and cid.

Does this match your carrier
HTC-Asia-SEA-WWE HTC__044
If i'm right here you have 2 options in ruu's
And I think you can flash both of them, because your hboot is lower than those 2.
They are on htcruu.com link i posted earlier

Yes sir. It worked flawlessly.
sorry if its a stupid question, but can I install a different RUU?
Thank you!
The command you were looking for was:
fastboot getvar version-main
Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2
I don't think it's needed, if you run a ruu and after that in android os.check for software updates if there aren't any then you are on the latest software (.ruu version) for the phone.
If someone could confirm this ....I'm not 100% on this

I have not found my version on the website www.htcruu.com.
Where I get my RUU?
Thanks for helping
Well it could be that your RUU is not released ! The only thing then is to het a stock rom from somebody else who has a stock non rooted rom from the same carrier.
I assume you did not made a backup from you're own stock rom before flashing you're first custom rom

I have a nandroid backup from the first stock rom.. It would be more comfortable with a RUU...
Thanks
A stock backup is the same as a ruu....the difference is 0 ! And you can leave you're bootloader unlocked
So actually you wasted my time because you let me search a ruu you don't even need !

P8000 no network signal

Hello guys. i´m from portugal. i bought a P8000, I insert the sim card and when i turn on the phone, he does not have network signal.....Can you help me? do i need to configure something?
Thanks
You get it to work ?
buen día compre un elephone p8000 y no agarra red, simplemente dice sin servicio, que puedo hacer??
Did it come like that from factory?! Or did you install anything on it before trying?
My guesses would be that either you have a faulty device, or you have a faulty SIM. Try using a different SIM on it!!
If you installed anything on it (like a ROM, for example), I would try reflashing from scratch.
Regards.
that have version a and b ,,,you make sure that device version work with your carrier

flash my eragon rom and it will be fine
I have a similar issue and have tried the Eragon ROM (and other stock ROMS) - none of which solve the problem.
Some screenshots to show what is going on. The SIM is fine in another phone. Other working SIMS do the same in this P8000.
Really need some help with this. It was all working perfectly up until the recent OTA and a factory reset.

THanks for the info
I still don't get it why CyanogenMod released CM13 for S3 and doesn't care about Note 2. International model of Note 2, GT-N7100 to be more exactly, has only CM11 while other versions, like t0lte got CM12.1.Same for Sprint and Verizon, both have CM12.1.
Now, CM11 works good. Trust me. I used for 2 weeks and I've got NO bugs. Nothing! Smooth and stable.
And that was about system stability. Anyway, there is one problem with the graphics. There is a little bit of video tearing sometimes, when closing and opening apps.
I really wish to see at least CM12.1 in these days from CyanogenMod. There were no updates for more than a week. Galaxy S3 got like 5 CM13 updates in one week.
I'm not sure who is in charge of Samsung development there, but he or she should focus on all devices, not only on a few.
The head developer or Note 2 left for Sony. I just hope someone else will take hes job.

Not necessarily. RUUs also come as zip, that are - in case of the 10 - have to be renamed to 2PS6IMG.zip and copied to extSD. Afterwards a reboot to bootloader Does The job, as the device will recognize the RUU and start flashing after one allows it by pressing the power button
So let's wait and see what kind of RUU he's gonna upload.

Reboot to download mode and perform the
Code:
fastboot getvar all
command. Or - if still on stock - got to settings > about and check if the build number is of the kind x.xx.401.x where 401 is the SKU and defines that it is a WWE device.

My 2 cents, a RUU is an exe file, nothing else's needed

Hi.
Now, you have flash TWRP, and made a backup of you original ROM, then you will have to flash Magisk V16 and you M9 will be Root. Then you will have download sunshine app, install and execute with root permissions. When the process of the app ends, it will ask to pay 25 dollars for the license to do S-Off.
Sorry for my English, but that's the process that I did in my M9.
Cheers.

I forgot it, but after of flash Magisk, you have to install Magisk Manager app to access to the Magisk options (root permissions, mods, and more).
Cheers.
