Hi there,
I unlocked, rooted and installed a custom recovery and rom on the Xperia S from a friend. Now he told me, that he would like to have everything stock again. How can I remove twrp from that device again? And is there a stock rom (even pre-rooted, but full stock) that is flashable through twrp?
Thank you
Instal stock ftf and than root via v root if u want.
Go in development section for stock ftf.

That's all I need to do? Thank you.
But one last question, how do I flash that ftf?

I'd like to know if you can root the stock 4.0.4
wrong section
well this is the wrong section but still
4.0.4 can be rooted in 2 ways.
1) flash 4.0.4 (.431) on your phone and then flash the stock kernel of the firmware 4.0.3 (.562) and then use doomlord toolkit to root it
note: you can then flash the original stock kernel of the firmware .431
2)download ready to root .ftf and then flash using flashtool and then root ie(which is nothing but the firmware if .431 but the kernel of.562)
take help from these
ready to root http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1683957:fingers-crossed:
3. If you have an unlocked bootloader just boot a custom kernel and install root manually or use the Xperia installer.

thnks for completing my post with the third step it didnt occur to me.
:good:
Yes it can, I flashed a stock .431 ftf and used DoomLords root kit.
I had stock 4.0.3 (forget the number) on my phone and received an OTA update to 4.0.4 (4.1.B.0.431) two nights ago. I still have root after applying the update.

eeerrr. Do u use xperia s?
To op: yes u can and should flash root (superuser / supersu ) via cwm and u should flash the cwm again. Unless u have unlocked bootloader then u don't need to do that..

based on the thread that u give is said stock kernel so i assume that i need to reflash stock firmware and then relocking bootloader (correct me if im wrong).one more thing, does reflashing stock firmware remove root access and also reflashing remove cwm?

First flash stock Kernel, and then Relock, If you relock/upgrade your FW, before reverting to stock kernel, your phone might soft-brick..

Hi guys, I'm rooted and still on 4.2.2 at the moment with dual recovery installed. I just want to make a complete restore of the phone, getting rid of the recovery and root along the way. Can someone tell me if this is possible? On my old G Pad, I could just use the LG Mobile Support Tool which was very simple. Is there a similar way for the Xperia Z1 Compact?
I went from cm11 to 4.4.2 I just flashed the z1c stock 4.4.2 ftf with flashtool and everything was back normal, no recovery and not rooted
You need to get the 4.2.2 ftf for your phone and flash that,

i managed to return to stock 4.2.2 with the Sony PC Companion. Then I tried to flash the stock 4.4.2 with Flashtool but then I just get stuck into a boot loop after that. Could you let me know how you did it?
Try and flash again. I originally unlocked the bootloader then went from 4.2.2 to 4.4.2 with flash tool

Thanks for your reply. I managed to get it to work after flashing the file from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2687324 using flashtool. Cheers!
I didn't like my T2 ultra until 5.1.1 (19.4.A.0.182) stock rom came along...it gave the buggy phone a new lease.
I like to root it via flashtoo ftf file. Does anyone has one to share? Also pls advise the steps...do I need to unlock bootloader first? Do I need to install recovery?
I wanted to root to remove bloatwares and use app2sd to install apps.
By the way Xperia Z already has a pre-rooted stock rom ftf.
Thanks!
