I have an odd problem that on LTE I am only capable of outgoing calls and sms, not incoming, data does work however. I have tried changing the APN settings to those correct for my network (Rogers) but that does not seem to correct the issue. I've tried searching the forums for a solution, however all the threads that come up have to do with being unable to connect to the LTE network, which I appear to be able to. If I switch to 3G incoming sms' and calls do work.
If anyone can give me a hand with this it would be great!
P.S. I have a feeling this isn't the right subforum but I'm not sure if this is a device specific issue. If it isn't much apologies.
Our hox doesn't have LTE only 3G !! .....or do you have the HTC one XL which has the snapdragon inside and not tegra? Because the international one, with the tegra doesn't have LTE so if you have the xl ask in the forum for the xl...this here is for normal hox not xl

I am confused as I am sure a lot of others are but the HTC One XL is not the AT&T version. The AT&T version is still called the HTC One X. As shown on GSMArena and on the HTC Site. The HTC One X with Tegra(International-non LTE), The HTC One XL SnapDragon(International-LTE) and The HTC AT&T One X.
The AT&T One X has very different LTE bands and international LTE

LTE 1800 / 2600
Am I the only one confused??? These are from what I am reading, 3 totally types of the HTC One X, so it should be 3 different forums, right??
No. International version has tegra 3 and US has snapdragon s4 krait.
The One XL is different! The screen is only 480 x 800 and amoled, i believe, not HD like the One X.
Alright.......it's actually fairly simple
AT&T One X was supposed to be the One XL, but they decided to call it the One X at the last moment.
It is running the exact same specs as the international HTC One XL
That is, Snapdragon S4 Krait and LTE.
The International HTC One X runs Tegra 3 and no LTE.
The only thing is the AT&T HTC One X may have a larger battery actually, just like the Sprint EVO 4G LTE.
The screen resolution of the One XL isn't different, it's the same....just using Krait and LTE instead of Tegra 3

What I am saying is international LTE and US LTE bands are different so for development purposes, wouldn't it be a different process. Kernel may be the same but model and radio are very different.

Oh okay.....yea development wouldn't really be different.
All they need to do is change the modem which isn't really that difficult if i'm not mistaken. It's like flashing a different modem.

What?? I know the rules, since I have been a part of XDA for a while now. Is this like a generic reply, I see things moved all the time and never have i seen someone say this. So if I post something that you deem is in the wrong place, you can ban me?? My post is like many in the general section, a statement, sometimes general statements have questions in them. Just like the below and I don't see anyone saying this. I.E.

This is not an argument and unlike other I do not want some back and forth, just please clarify why this was such a unneeded message when others don't get the same.
Cheers

I live in Singapore, but travel globally. Could I purchase an international One XL then flash the appropriate LTE modem for use (via prepaid) with different carriers world wide?
Just thought I would put this out there in case anyone was unsure due to the tri-band nature of the V. The V I bought for my girlfriend arrived today from Expansys and with her existing SIM card picked up AT&T HSPA+ data no problem (as you know the V lacks WCDMA 1900).
I will say though that this is in Southern California and I can't speak for elsewhere in the US.

Well as some of the major Canadian carriers are carrying the V and thay are compatible with AT&t...
Yes but the V does not have quad band UMTS/WCDMA like many other higher end devices (HTC One X for example) so I wasn't sure if the high speed data would work. Hence my post.
Of course standard calling, texting and EDGE data would work. Pretty hard to find a GSM device that doesn't have those features these days.

Has anyone tried the HTC One X Plus on T-Mobile? Will the AT&T version of the phone's work with T-Mob's LTE?
There is a separate forum for the one x+, they'll more likely know the answer to your question

guys only on Eragon.
if you have the roaming bug on Eragon Rom
please post your Operator / Network here .
O2 Germany (nimmt teilweise Eplus) =>Roaming
Good idea!
RO Vodafone and RO Digi Mobil.
mine shows the r. I havent testet if it is a real problem.
My company is CBB in Denmark. they use a combo of Telia and Telenor. cause they combined there net.
Still showing on aregon 5
. It is more like a fake roaming.. And not a problem at all. But it is annoying .

Vectone (uses EE network)
Telco (O2 Netz) -> Roaming ins E-Plus Netz
same here...
but I don't see this as a bug.
As O2 customer I can use e-plus also, so this is roaming for me.
When I set the option to use mobile data via roaming, everything works fine...

WHERE TO BUY HTC 10 GLACIER SILVER (BLACK FACE) IN EUROPE? EVEN IMPORTED FROM ASIA.....
No one knows something?
HTC Dach said there is no ETA for this. Can't believe it but what should we do? I had hold it in my hand and felt in love. Not for the white but for the power of 10.

A very good question. Up!
I would love one as well hope someone finds a way soon. By the way a phone from the US would function normally in Europe right?

I've ordered one from HTC.com, waiting for a friend that lives in the US to bring to me.
I've compared the US device with the WWE one and the US model seems to use almost the same frequency bands as the WWE and some more.
To confirm it will work on my network, I've checked here if it will work on my network, it gave me 100% compatibility

That probably compared the UK one with the network. The US one is missing band 8 which most of the networks in the UK use, eg 02, Tesco Mobile, Giffgaff etc. Three uses a different band I believe for LTE. You would still be able to get phone, text and up to 3g access, but if your mobile provider uses band 8, you wont get LTE, I also dont believe there is a way to add it.

I'm from Portugal and my network uses the bands on the image.
And since in HTC.com they say that the 10 works on the network bands on the other image, I believe it's compatible.
My network only uses band 8 on UMTS and I think the 10 has it, or am I wrong and made a bad decision?
__________
@Stephen, I might be mistaken, as I'm don't understand much about this, but I think non of UK's carriers use LTE band 8
http://www.4g.co.uk/4g-frequencies-uk-need-know/
Yes you should be good to go. I think you will get both 2.5g, 3g and LTE speeds with the US version. For 2.5g your network uses bands 900 and 1800. The US phone supports this. For 3g, your network uses bands 2100 and 900 which the phone also supports. For 4G or LTE (it can be called either) your network uses bands 3, 7 and 20. The phone supports these bands as well. So you will get signal in 2.5g networks, 3g networks and LTE.
Quite jealous here!!! I would have loved the silver and black, but my network uses band 8, which as you can see is not supported, so if I got it, I would only get up to 3g, not LTE. But I really love my silver white version!
Someone have news? Where I can buy silver Black version? Im from portugal
