Where to buy htc 10 glacier silver (black face) in europe ? - HTC 10 Questions & Answers

WHERE TO BUY HTC 10 GLACIER SILVER (BLACK FACE) IN EUROPE? EVEN IMPORTED FROM ASIA.....

No one knows something?

HTC Dach said there is no ETA for this. Can't believe it but what should we do? I had hold it in my hand and felt in love. Not for the white but for the power of 10.

A very good question. Up!

I would love one as well hope someone finds a way soon. By the way a phone from the US would function normally in Europe right?

I've ordered one from HTC.com, waiting for a friend that lives in the US to bring to me.
I've compared the US device with the WWE one and the US model seems to use almost the same frequency bands as the WWE and some more.
To confirm it will work on my network, I've checked here if it will work on my network, it gave me 100% compatibility

That probably compared the UK one with the network. The US one is missing band 8 which most of the networks in the UK use, eg 02, Tesco Mobile, Giffgaff etc. Three uses a different band I believe for LTE. You would still be able to get phone, text and up to 3g access, but if your mobile provider uses band 8, you wont get LTE, I also dont believe there is a way to add it.

I'm from Portugal and my network uses the bands on the image.
And since in HTC.com they say that the 10 works on the network bands on the other image, I believe it's compatible.
My network only uses band 8 on UMTS and I think the 10 has it, or am I wrong and made a bad decision?
__________
@Stephen, I might be mistaken, as I'm don't understand much about this, but I think non of UK's carriers use LTE band 8
http://www.4g.co.uk/4g-frequencies-uk-need-know/

Yes you should be good to go. I think you will get both 2.5g, 3g and LTE speeds with the US version. For 2.5g your network uses bands 900 and 1800. The US phone supports this. For 3g, your network uses bands 2100 and 900 which the phone also supports. For 4G or LTE (it can be called either) your network uses bands 3, 7 and 20. The phone supports these bands as well. So you will get signal in 2.5g networks, 3g networks and LTE.
Quite jealous here!!! I would have loved the silver and black, but my network uses band 8, which as you can see is not supported, so if I got it, I would only get up to 3g, not LTE. But I really love my silver white version!

Someone have news? Where I can buy silver Black version? Im from portugal

Cos I know it supports "3G" 900/2100mhz just wanting to know if in anyway 850mhz has been disabled andcan be enabled.
A carrier here in New Zealand is using 850mhz and has 2100mhz as a fill in but 2100 in my area is limited.
No.
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
i wouldn't flat out say no. it is widely known that the HD7 will be coming to telstra in australia "early 2011". why do i say this? well telstra's 3G network is running on 850mhz.
so who knows, when it comes here you might get lucky.
Yeah a lot of people in the US on AT&T import Telstra handsets because the frequencies are the same, so when the HD7 gets released here it should do.
The tmobile hd7s dont have that band. so No.
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
just because the t-mobile one doesn't, does not mean all HD7 can't. I'm pretty sure it is similar to windows mobile where a different radio is flashed into the phone to get them to work.
In any case, the word around is jan/feb release for the HTC HD7 on the Telstra network.
I have a HTC HD7 already , It came from Germany.

Zenfone 2 4gb version Wind Mobile/Virgin Mobile

Okay so I am with wind mobile using zenfone 2 4gb version right now and I do plan on switching over to virgin mobile because I cant seem to get any data connection on wind and when I do it takes like 4 minutes just to load. Now I was wondering if anyone has used Virgin and whether or not its any good thanks in advanced. I am sick and tired of Wind Mobile in Alberta. --Mark
First things first, where did you buy your phone from? Is it the US/CAN model or Chinese version? That will determine if your going to get much better data rates. If you have the US/CAN version you should get 4g speeds, if your on the Chinese version you probably going to be limited to 3g

A bit OT... I hear that Shaw cable intends to buy Wind to become a national provider. Be interesting competition (as right now, it's the big three - Bell, Rogers, and Telus - including their respective resellers - Virgin, Fido, and Koodo), but based on your experience with the limited bands (which won't change until the next national auction), I don't plan on jumping the Eastlink ship (an east-coast provider) for Shaw/Wind.

I think shaw might take it as Shaw is the only big company in canada that does not Offer cellphone services and they wan't to get into the game like Bell,Rogers and Telus in my opinion it will be interesting as to how far they make it as they have been trying for a couple years to get into the Mobile Spectrum. Also I am interested to see if wind prices sky rocket as shaw buys wind. According to Global news the planned deal is $1.6 billion.

Pixel LTE bands - North America and Rest of the world

Hi there,
Looking at Google Pixels page one can see that there is two versions of the product: NA and RoW.
Question is: is there any chance of buying a RoW version in US? Has anyone ever managed to buy the past Nexus International Versions in US before?
Thanks all and regards
Took me a few seconds to figure out what RoW means. I'd like to know this too.
In regards to the N6p I tried to buy an Intl version from the US but it wasn't available.
Had to be bought from Intl market like EU or the Middle East..

Is there any difference in the UAE? Both versions support LTE Band 3 and UMTS Band 1. Should work fine in the UAE.
I'm using US 6P which also supports LTE B3 and have not had any issues at all.

To my understanding of supported LTE, UMTS, and GSM frequencies both Pixel Variants will work in UAE but Carrier Aggregation will probably not work. Not sure if the operators in the UAE support CA (yet) but if/ when they do this will probably something that wouldn't work on the NA variant. The only combination supported by the device for UAE bands is B7+B7, which may or may not work.
Whether this is a deal breaker or not is up to you to decide.
Won't work. There are two different version. One that supports international LTE bands and one that supports the bands in the USA. Just like the Nexus 6, 5x and 6P. If you buy the Pixel in the USA you'd only be able to use 3g speeds in Europe, band 7 (1800mhz) being the only exception.
In short, should you buy the pixel phone in the USA you won't have 4G in Europe and other countries that use the same bands.

Now that the pixel is out i can't seem to find anything online (N6p H1512 64/128gb) that comes with a warranty, if you do come across one that includes warranty please dm me.
I found out the warranty over here is handled by the retailers and is not international (covered by Google/Huawei).

I am also looking at this and cannot understand the CA limitations on the US device. Unless I am mistaken the Snapdragon X12 modem supports all combinations of supported frequencies. Yet the phones have different combinations for some reason. I do not know if Google is limiting this via software. Any thoughts?

How comes? Both NA & RoW Pixel's tech specs show bands 3 and 20 (beside the band 7 & others) which are the most common bands used in Europe for LTE, so I can't see why the NA model won't have 4G in Europe... Can you please explain?
Lots of overlap
There appears to be quite significant overlap, with the NA version supporting all or almost all LTE bands in most European countries and in many non-European countries as well (including all LTE bands in UAE):
NA version: frequencycheck.com/compatibility/GPQkJ/google-pixel-xl-phone-nexus-m1-td-lte-na-128gb-htc-marlin/countries
RoW version: frequencycheck.com/compatibility/vWPw8/google-pixel-xl-phone-nexus-m1-global-td-lte-128gb-htc-marlin/countries
---------- Post added at 07:15 ---------- Previous post was at 06:52 ----------
Hmm... just noticed that a few European countries that FrequencyCheck lists the NA version as having only partial LTE coverage for are because the site considers the NA version not to support band 8. But, according to Google's own spec page (madeby.google.com/phone/specs/ > Telephony), both the NA and RoW versions support B8. No idea if FrequencyCheck is a generally reliable source of info, as I just discovered the site a few minutes ago. I hope Google's listing for their own phone is correct, but the fact that B8 isn't included anywhere in the LTE 2xCA and 3xCA breakdowns for the NA version as it is for the RoW version makes me wonder...

Yes, the main European LTE bands are 3, 7 and 20, so it doesn't matter which version you have as both support all these bands. scandalousk is wrong.
Partially, it'll support 4G. But it won't support LTE-Advanced (4g+)

Hello guys, to my knowledge, HTC 10 has only one version if you buy carrier unlocked. However, a friend wants to buy one from amazon, here is the listing:

"Unlocked," the phone REALLY ISN'T.
It WILL NOT WORK WITH U.S. CARRIERS.
I have T-MOBILE and I soon I popped my SIM card it just wouldn't read it.
At some point I got 2 bars when I pressed "Roaming," but overall I didn't get any LTE from this phone.
