Hello smedzz.
Your device only has experimental and nightlies for Cyanogenmod, with no RC or stable ROMs available. The problem you are experiencing sounds a lot like the problem I had with Cyanogenmod 9.0 for my Samsung Galaxy S i9000. It was a release Candidate (RC), and slightly unstable, and hung up on the boot graphic occasionally. The only way to fix it was to flash the phone again (my experience).
If that sounds like a pain, you could look for a different ROM in the Developer section of the forums for the a700. The "iconiaN 2.6" ROM, based on Jelly Bean 4.1.1, sounds good. At least it would get your tablet working again.

Already solved?
Did you wipe?
Hello
I have the Canadian Rogers Samsung Galaxy S3 i747m with 32GB built in and I have a 32GB MicroSD Card.
The phone had Samsung's problematic Android 4.3 version... Then I tried the CyanogenMOD CM-11 M2 Android version 4.4.2 and CM-10.2.1 Android version 4.3.1
I was thinking of just using just going to CM-11 M3 Android version 4.4.2 as I posted all about here... Please read my link from the CyanogenMOD fourm... http://forum.cyanogenmod.com/topic/89918-1021-for-s3-i747m-from-rogers/
But then I found on this forum the different Custom ROMs for the i747m phone that I have as shown here... http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3-att#romList
And I saw 2 youtube videos of the Hyperdrive ROM and I like all the features that it has and all the customizations you can do from it.
What I wanted to know is what Custom ROM will work best on my i747m and be most problem free and What Custom ROMs are still being worked on and updated regularly?
Also if you read my post on the CyanogenMOD forum you will see that I have CM-10.2.1 installed on my phone right now and I want to root my phone and my phone is locked to Rogers and I dont want to change that and I dont want to change my Baseband version either.
Please help me?
Thank you.

Also I want a Custom ROM that works with the MicroSD card... I dont care about App2SD support cause my phone is the 32GB version but I do want apps to be able to save directly to the memory card such as Camera apps saving pictures and videos directly to the SD card and being able to download files off the internet directly to the SD card and stuff like that.
Thanks again.
As XDA is not a support site, members are expected to do their own research and make there own determinations.
Please take the time to read and flash them to make the aforementioned judgments. Plenty out there to try!
Hello,
I'd like to upgrade my SGS3 Int XEZ., after two years of using rooted (CF-Root 6.4 + SuperSU + CWM5.5 + CWMManager) stock ROM IMM76D.I9300XXBLFB with franco.Kernel r15, to Paranoid ROM pa_i9300-4.45-20140729.zip.
So I update my custom recovery to CWM 6.0.4.6
Is that enough now to flash my phone using Odin with pa_i9300-4.45-20140729.zip, or should I chage franco kernel first to avoid compatibilty problems with Paranoid ROM?
Thank you for advices.
VicC
If you have custom recovery, you don't use Odin to flash the rom....
And please for the love of all that is holy, use 4.6beta5

Yes, I have custom recovery, so I should flash it using custom recovery\install zip from sd card?
One last question, as I red in some threads, somebody had problem with 64GB card...
My card is formated to FAT32, not a problem?
Is beta5 stable enough? I just dont want to flash to new rom too often...
Since beta 5 is the last kitkat build there is nothing else to flash beyond that no idea about sdcard. Kitkat doesn't support it and we don't officially support that device.

Sorry, maybe I misunderstand you, kitkat doesnt support 64gb sdcards???
So maybe its not good idea to flash paranoid rom to SGS3 if its not officially supported?

You misunderstood.
Google/aosp doesn't support external sdcard at all. Has nothing to do with the size.
And support for your device comes from the legacy team, not PA directly.
In other words, if you need help with that device you need to take it to your device forum, because there is a miniscule chance that anyone in this forum uses it.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 (i9300) with a 32 GB SD card and PA 4.6beta5 and I have no problem. Once when I still had the stock rom I tried a 64 GB SD card formatted with exFAT and was correctly detected by the system. Almost certanly PA doesn't support exFAT, but if you have formatted the card with FAT32 it will work.
A few day ago i am bought samsung galaxy j2.
It have installed lolipop 5.1.1 version but i don't like lollipop version because it was eating big ram and not giving external sd card write permission
I am root my galaxy j2 and i am void mobile warrenty because it have knox prottection
Help me how to install android kitkat verson on this mobile with root or without root ?
and where is i download kitkat rom for my device ?
Help me please i am not satisfied with lollipop version
Assuming that your phone can every support custom ROM's, it will depend on the type of custom ROM you'd like of which there are tons of great ROM's out there. Your first goal is to research which ROM you want but read this all the way through before you start. While you do that, the ROM's you are considering need to have a KitKat Android version (it might be depreciated). After that, you need to make sure to find the right ROM that works for your phone model and then follow the instructions on installing the custom recovery. This custom recovery will be used to wipe and then flash the new ROM to the phone (NOTE: wiping will erase all your personal data and apps so back up your app data first and if you want to also backup your apps). The ROM may or may not have pre-installed apps, however it will not have any Google Apps (including the Play Store) which means you'll need to find the right package online that fits your phone processor and android version to flash with but after the custom ROM. Anyways hope this helps and good luck ?

I'm new here and to the android modding world. I have a galaxy tab3 8.0 (sm-t310). I have already rooted and installed a backup utility on it. Now, I was going thru the rom section of the site, but can't figure out which rom is the best stable one to use. I just want to upgrade to lollipop or maybe marshmallow if possible. I want all the features, including the sd card and Bluetooth to work. What is the best rom to use and possible instructions to upgrade?
