best rom cm9 / cm10 / cm11? battery friendly?

Hi guys
I have this galaxy w which I had the stock rom with gingerbread.
I was searching for a custom rom for the phone and saw that there were cm9 cm10 and cm11.
I installed the new cm11 by arco68 but I'm having problems with the battery with greenify already installed.
During the night when I was asleep in 3 hours used 10% of my battery.
I'm new in roms and android development, so can anyone help me and tell me the differences between each cm version?
Any version is more lighter with the battery?
What can I do improve the battery use?
Thanks in advance
Try CM9

Apparently Google claimed that 4.4 KitKat is designed for low-end phones. So use CM11
Smack that Thanks button if I helped!
XDAing from a N7105 powered by Illusion ROM.
Sent from a small country called Singapore.
P.S. Time for school, not much time for XDA
for me its cm9 or cm11
For me now the best battery saving ROM + kernel is CM 9 and hurtsky's kernel, it is just awesome, if you need battery then this is the right combination for you
CyanogenMod 9 + Hurtsky's Kernel.
and update Playstore Service 4.1.32

Can someone tell me which one of the CM9 Asradu posted kernels is the best for battery life? Thanks in advance!
Just wondering, since Kitkat is optimise for low RAM, does cm9 consume large amount of ram?

For me DarkCM11 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2618851 works pretty good. I use KhaN Kernel v1.5 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2593327 and its runs pretty fluently + battery life is good

Im confused, I still see many reports indicating high battery drain on CM11.
btw, currently using "CM09 (EOL final) + Hurtsky's Kernel REV10" but want to know if I would have better options for extended battery performance.
thanks in advance, regards

Hi, I am new to installing ROM, I have study about 3 days and decided to apply darkCM11 with khan kernel, as you mentioned,
I installed CM11 and it worked, but The device was warm and battery drained fast, I installed it again with following tuterials and format sdcard0 this time, it get better but the main problem is to install/flash another kernel or update like khan kernel or philz touch, they are failed with status 7 ,
I tried to removed assert line from updater_script but it didn't work, It seems the os is now heavier than these works and I am confused right now,
please help me :
1- what to do first, should I install CM11 from scratch ?
2- for istalling khan kernel should I install Philz touch? and if so, what I should to do with the status 7 problem
I have installed CMR 6.0.4.5 and it works,

[ROM] [E980/E988/F240LSK/F220] MoKee 4.4.2 RC04

This is not my work I found it on Chinese forum and just sharing.
So i found this AOSP ROM on Chinese forum here:
http://bbs.gfan.com/forum.php?mod=v...=page=1&filter=typeid&typeid=8314&typeid=8314
It is for all versions F240LSK, E980/E988and F220
I have been using this for a week now, its super smooth and I have no problems.
Battery life is great over a day of normal use I can get around 4 Hours +/-15min of Screen on Time. (Morning Time Data/Evening Time Wifi)
Note: The ROM by default flashes F240 KERNEL, E980/E988 and F220 Kernels are provided and must be flashed after ROM flash.
ROM: http://pan.baidu.com/share/init?shareid=2851183795&uk=1392791443 pass:dlyu
E980/E988 Kernel: http://pan.baidu.com/s/1i3uTXQ1 pass:m8s9
F220 Kernel: http://pan.baidu.com/s/1i3uTXQ1 pass:m8s9
No need to flash baseband as the ROM won't flash any baseband by itself.
This can be used on any F240 model L/S/K and you just need to flash the ROM no need of flashing Kernel separately.
hi, i didn't see the 'USER' option on settings, is there a way to modify the 'User Switcher' on quick settings?
Can someone mirror the e980 kernel? I can not download it from that website without installing some kind of program.
Already have a thread for this in the General section. Unless you actually helped with the port to our phone I would not be providing this in the Development section either. You can find the official e980 release on the official MoKee website here
can you provide some screenshots and features of this rom?

[Q] why my battery drains so fast??

hey,
listen, i've installed few roms in the last 2 weeks, flashed 2 recoveries version,
this is the roms:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2588495
and the second which im using now:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2214042
from some reason, I prefer the CM 10.1, he works faster, more over, the CM 11 is not stable as CM 10.1 because it's newer,
When I was on stock rom my battery performance was much better,
My battery in 100% finished totaly after one phonecall or even taking picture with flash light on.
I buoght new battery from ebay, it's shipping right now to me and I hope it will fix the problem.
I have some questions:
1. which rom is better right now? (cm10.1 or cm11)
2. why the battery drains so fast? is that overclocked roms?
3. Do I have to download stock rom for my country? why is that matter? Im from israel and I think that in the stock rom there are apps of the Cellular operator (cellcom) and i hate that, i want clean stock android, I dont want these dirty apps and heavy widgets.
4. which rom is best for the battery performance?
thanks a lot!

I recently used:
Mokee OS 04/11 + KhaN Kernel 2.0 = 100% stable
Paranoid Android 4.3 BETA1 + KhaN Kernel = Just installed a day ago, but seems stable and the fastest KitKat rom yet.
Keep in mind to configure kernel settings for better performance and battery life and disable pocket detection / WLAN notification / auto sync / IMPORTANT: silly google background services using "disable service".
IMO i prefer CM 10.1 because its very fast, and stable, i think Kitkat is not ready yet !!
However im using a 2450 mah battery on CM 10.1 and geting good battery lifee, but if u use the stock batery with 1500 mah, CM 10.1 wont last much , so u need to go with stock or Kitkat
What's the point about KitKat is not ready yet? Performance is better than Jellybean as far as I tried nearly every rom available

Your recommendations on Samsung I9192 Galaxy S4 mini Duos

I really like what i read on this amazing device , i would like to buy it in the next couple of days ,but i really need your recommendation on couple of things :
1- Battery life :
most of the review i read , tested the I9090 , it did ok in my opinion , but someone pointed out to me that the i9092 my drain battery due to the dual sim and it has double antenna ,
2- Battery life/ custom roms :
i took a quick look over the original android development sub-forum , and i'm not sure if there's a bug free rom , what i mean dual sim is the essential reason for, i'm buying this device
so if by flashing custom roms to have better battery life (Win), and a buggy second sim (lose) , what your thoughts on that ? is there any stable roms ?
3- Original roms :
can you provide some insight on 4.2.2/4.4.2 , battery performance
4.4.2 isn't released to my country yet , just a couple of patches for 4.2.2
i wouldn't mind flashing another 4.4.2 rom
Here is the catch , i do a 24 hours shifts , sometime up to 30 Hours , i must have the phone by me at all the time ,i take many calls ,i move a lot ,and i can't just put it to charge .
i will outlast the phone , or it will outlast me
best of regards
I really appreciate your help on this
Any help , guys

battery darining after install cm13

recently flashed cm13 ...when i was on stock battery was ok after rooting. But now in cm13 i have lost my root and the battery is draining too fast..
should i root it again with thunderzap kernel and supersu?????
Is there any way to to get same battery backup???
i love cm13 but battery draining fast plz help me
i have root my mobile first time.
The latest Snapshot of CM-13 is good and has no battery drain issues, as of ThunderZap there is a bug and the issue of battery draining has not been solved yet. My recommend is to install only CM-13.
Flash Thundetzap 5.1 and Super Su:good:
