I think it would be cool to be able to use the gateway IP address as a variable. It would also be pretty cool to have it clickable to take you straight to it in your chosen web browser....
This way it would be easy for me to configure modems

Our server address uses an ip address like ex. (xxx.xxx.xx.xxx:443) when i put this in as the server address it clears off the :443 we use that port to get in I have also tried the complete OWA address like it suggest xxx.xxx.xx.xxx:443/exchange & againg it only keeps the ip address. can any help I had it setup thru the alltel push seven program so I know it works but can't seem to get it working on here. I can sync it thru activsync but that don't help when i'm out of the office.
So i was changing my following the thread here about changing the HTTP PD Proxy port & address.
I decided to poke around inside EPST and noticed that under Data Profile there are options for Primary and Secondary Home Agent. Are these the same thing as DNS server?
I ask because im interested in trying Googles DNS servers for 3g/4g.
I saw a post here about changing this with ip's from a list. So if Home agent is something different than DNS server then ill just follow that post. Can anyone clarify if Home Agent & DNS server are one and the same and if so if its possible to use google DNS with it?
Thanks
no no no, the home agent is nothing like a dns server, you'll probably break your phone playing around with that
Ok thanks, just making sure.

Could be developed some app which can manually configure the IP address of Wifi or some app already exist ?
Thanks for info.
hello! I am not sure I understood your question but for now there is no way to configure / change the IP address of your WP7.
None (API) is to perform this operation ...
Maybe with the next kit devellopement "Mango" and the 1500 new APIs to come ...
In the meantime if interested, my application allows you to retrieve an IP address to calculate the subnet mask, address and machine address networks;-)

Actually I have a vpn server IP address and that's what is in the server field of the vpn connection. I do not have a domain name.
I want to redirect all the incoming request of any domain (abc.com ,dd.com , *.com) to particular server or to specific server ip address. Can anyone tell me how it can achieve in Android phone.
