Using wind on unlocked N900T, not registered on network - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 3

Hi,
I got a N900T from Canadiamgsm.... it's supposed to be unlocked.
I followed the instruction, charged and turn on with my wind canada sim... It does not call because of sim non registered (no service) ...
I tried from mobile network to select wind, but on right top I saw a circle with a bar in the middle... after some attempts with network mode and the way of selection for networks I had the normal bar that shows you've service, but when I try to call sim non registered again.
and a shield is on the left with written prevention information
an application has been forced to stop for an unauthorized attempt to access the system in your device
I did NOT install anything and I did NOT update android at all, it's on 4.3
Can I check if it's rooted and in case install a custom rom? Would it help or would it back to locked network that is even worse?
Thanks

[Q] Unlocked and Still Roaming?

So I sim unlocked my GT-S5660m with the BML5 method and it is also rooted. It was originally locked to Virgin/Bell and I have a Fido sim. The unlocked worked as I checked the lock status and they are all off.
The problem is that when I put my Fido sim card in it takes it and shows me Fido as the network I'm on but it says that I'm roaming? (the little R icon by the signal bars shows). How is it possible that I am roaming on the network I'm supposed to be on?? Has anyone run into something like this?
Quick update. Did a factory reset and battery pull and now it asks for the network unlock pin code again. I enter it and it unlocks it again but it seems the unlock doesn't stick...

cynergy r484 on unlocked phone

FELLAS,
My phone is i747 originally from Rogers Canada and I've unlocked the sim, so I can use it with Virgin Mobile (Bell) Canada. I have been running cynergy roms all along until this last r484 build cropped up. I am trying to figure out installation options with it. ROM installer detects my board as ATT and asks to choose my carrier which is Virgin Mobile (basically Bell) then I install this way I cant send or recive calls my Network options are very limited to manually make selections. During set up phone gets locked up in a SIM activation mode (I installing this rom both ways with Global APN selected and not). Would anyone advise if this is due to unlocked phone and what options should be selected during installation in cases like this? If phone is unlocked can I assume rome installation should be for the current carrier and not the one the phone was originally design for?
Thank you.

unlocked at&t note 2 issue

few ? the phone is unlocked my problem is why it wont allow data to work no calls text internet.etc it reads my sims shows my sprint number shows bars tried changing the apn settings to sprint but when saving it it disappears i thought wen the phone is unlocked it work with any carrier thanks for any info that yall can give me
And you have flashed the correct baseband and made any needed APN changes ?
Simply unlocking the device will not get you connected to another carrier without setting up the device properly after unlock...g

I need help on samsung note 4 N910v

My friend brought an original refurbish Samsung N910v android version 5.01 which was working with GSM 2G if not 3G until when I tried to update to new version android v6.0.1. In the menu>setting>about when I checked first before anything it showed me N910 F v5.01 but in boot mode Odin it was N910v.The problem started when I just typed *#9090# the phone immediately started reboot loop. I have managed to unlock the boot loader and root the phone installed custom rom version 6.0.1 by Paul Pizz rom VRU2CPJ2.r-1 but still can not have 2G or 3G GSM network. Please help to revive the phone again whether it meant to go back to 5.0.1 that would work with gsm cause am full stack now.
Have you checked to ensure you have the APN information in place? I have a Galaxy Note 4 N910V now (just got it a few days ago) and when I put my T-Mobile SIM in it from the very first time I have to manually put in the APN data - on custom ROMs it's usually picked up and there automagically but not always so, my suggestion is that you check to make sure your APN information is currently there as it should be.
Settings - More - Cellular networks - Access Point Names - make sure the one you need to be using is selected and if it's not then you'll have to put that info in manually and save it.
As for the actual model number, take the battery out and see what the model number is on the sticker in the battery compartment area - if the sticker isn't there then it could be a device that someone has done some experimenting with because that info can be changed. The sticker should be there, of course, but sometimes people take 'em out when they're mucking around with stuff, who knows.
Initially the phone is from Verizon but was working on 2G ,3G GSM network with N910F firmware version 5.0.1.it was working on airtel network until when I wanted to update. May I have the Apn settings, please

The APN will be your network. Are trying to use Verizon? If so, you should have a spot to tic the VZWINTERNET. If not, then you have a sim card issue.
ziggy the how do i sort out the sim card issue ,Since phone says this sim card is not from verizon

Is the sim from verizon? If you have a good account go to a corporate store and have them give you a new one. It's free.
Also, what are your APN settings and I will compare to mine. Everything works on mine.

- N910VVRU2CPJ2_FullFirmware_NoAboot<--- Full Framework with no aboot so you will not re-lock bootloader, but will unroot and restore back to 100% stock. once your on the full stock check if your connections are working fine, if they are then install custom rom, otherwise change the sim card
go in settings, connections and select network mode to global, should be fine

There is a Cross untop of the Network Bar (this simcard is not a verizon simcard)

since i flashed my device it says that i need a verizon simcard to activate the phone and when i skeep, the simcard wont show any network and there is a Cross on the network bar ...Please help me i'm on my android version is 6.0.1 N910VVRUCQL1
i dont have a verizon simcard i'm not in a country where verizon hosts..Thanks in Advance

You might be able to disable that message if you google it hard enough.
Try this first.

there also might be a way to disable it from titanium backup if you are rooted.
