Hey guys I'm currently using Wicked 10. with Ktoonz Kernel, everything works fine, but I did came accross the android System (UID) asking for root access, I did denied it because I don't know what it is, I did search and I came accross that it was cause by the Xposed framework, Wanam and Supersu Module but according to the thread it was suppose to be fixed a few updates ago. and I couldn't really found anything else about it just got me curious of what to do.
Anyone encounter this issue??
any infor is greatly appreciated
An xposed module is more than likely asking for root. And since xposed framework loads the module as a system, it looks as if the system is asking for root. If you have super su pro, check the log to see exactly what it is executing.

I'm running CM10.2 and having difficulty trying to get Xposed framework installed. I've tried a couple different methods to no avail. The only thing I've found searching the forums is some speculation that the included Superuser in CM10.2 is what might preventing Xposed to install properly. If anyone could just point me in the right direction, then I'd be much obliged. I'm more than willing to read and find the answer for myself, but I've hit a wall and don't know where else to look for information regarding installing on 4.3.
Thanks in advance.

Seems i was wrong, only the installer apk isnt compatible, but the actual framework is. Look Around the xposed framework thread here and try to find the flashable zip installer they seem to be talking about. From a quick reading of the last page, it seems to break PA hybrid settings, so if your using paranoid android you might wanna avoid the framework all together
Tried it twice. Hung at the boot logo both times
Update: Found this thread with a modified Xposed Installer APK for 4.3 devices. It didn't work on it's own, but after downloading SuperSU from the Play Store and choosing to update the superuser binary in recovery from within the SuperSU app, I was able to install Xposed. After that, I installed the donate version of Greenify, selected the module in Xposed, and rebooted to activate it. At this point, I hit another hang at the boot logo. Instead of giving up, I wiped cache and dalvik cache from recovery and rebooted to fully functioning Xposed framework with the Greenify module activated and working.
I hope that helps anyone else that may be experiencing the same problem.
Ever since I installed Xposed and Wanam Xposed my phone is lagging a lot. Does anyone else experiencing this or maybe have solution? If this continue I will have to remove them.
Also profile and PRL updates are gone after root,

Dont worry. The entire Note 4 community is trying to get to the bottom of this issue. You could try google.
I removed them and installed custom rom. I will wait for some fix before I get them again.
Indeed.
There is a fix!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3074586
I had been using it for the last 2 days with out any problems.
Same here!!
But when I install Smart Alarm Icon & XInstaller at the same time ,and I reboot to see if the two Xposed app works.
However, I got stuck on the boot screen.
Yet, I haven't tried to install each app at a time, so I dunno which app caused the problem...

I was running it on ARHD but got some weird ram overflow..
It just stacked my 3GB completely full untill the phone became unresponsive so I had to restore a nandroid to fix it..
Weird issue, it might have been one of the modules..
Just waiting till official 64bit version comes out I think...
Hi all
Would like to install exposed, any news on the 64bit version and or the bugs mentioned?
Cheers

If you are using 5.1 can find all info here, If you want to use Install xposed-v70-sdk22-arm64-by-romracer-20150808.zip is what you need and you can get the APK here
If using 5.0.2 use link in OP

I've been looking for a guide or instructions on how to recover from a boot loop but haven't been to successful in finding anything worthwhile. So wanted to ask here, if it does happen (not that it will) I just want to cover my bases and know beforehand how to recover from a boot loop. Obviously part of the recovery process would be to have taken a NAN backup prior to installing the xposed framework, to recover it's a process of booting into recovery and restoring the NAND?
Really looking forward to getting this on my phone.
Thanks guys.
There is an uninstaller zip available, flash it when you experience a bootloop ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/super-alpha-posted-permission-xposed-t3072979 ) . Otherwise just flash your rom new, that works as well. Then deactivate all your modules and start reactivating them one by one, you might have an incompatible module running,, which causes it
I've not gotten this to work so far. I'm on 5.1 stock rooted, s-on. Booted up successfully after installing the zip, but when I launched Amplify it says xposed isnt active.
When i went to check in xposed, it says romracer 71 active though. A little help anyone?

Did you activate the module?
I did, yes. However, it does seem like Xposed just won't work with stock 5.1 / odex / S-OFF; bootloops abound.
I've resorted to ARHD 12 to get it to work.

It does work with rooted stock 5.1 s-on though. Sometimes it requires the 2 button reboot. It occasionally sticks at the splash screen but not often. I have used Greenify, Sense Toolbox for Sense 6 and 7 (which has lots of cool features like 12 mini quick toggles and status bar and notification hiding), Always Correct for password memory on my keyboard, YouTube Ad Away, X Hangouts which allows custom theming and features and YouTube Background Playback.. All working great here with the Romracer sdk22 arm64 5.1 framework zip and Xposed Installer 3.0 alpha 4

Thanks for letting me know. On the other hand, i can stick with ARHD as it's been so stable so far.

True that, just flashed...first boot was not successful or maybe I wasn't patient enough but the second boot went fine..all working great.
I've installed the latest (v73) official xposed for android 5.1 over romracer's unofficial one and didn't have any issues. First boot, all good! All modules works great..
Same here all works fine

I can't get it to work. I installed the xposed.apk from the link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811 which is version 3 alpha 4 and then flashed the framework in TWRP, which is the xposed-v75-sdk22-arm64.zip file. I have an HTC One m9 running android 5.1. When I reboot, it shows that "version 75" is installed in xposed but when I try to run any xposed requiring app it doesn't work. For example, MinminGuard says "Xposed is not enabled".
Is there ANYTHING I can do??

Did you enable the module? Go to Xposed app - Modules - Click the tick boxes - Reboot
Yeah the modules were already enabled. I ended up finding what was causing the problem. I had to go into Super SU and change default access to "Grant" and checked the "Enable su during boot" box. That finally made it work.
I recently rooted my N900T using CF root, and all went well. Now I would like to install the Xposed framework, and have no clue which file to install, as I have found dozens of them, as well as reading there are different instructions on Samsung.
This phone has a stock rom, running 5.0 and I'd rather leave it that way. I've heard about using either Odin or Flashfire to flash the xposed framework, then just installing the APK, but once again, which file out of the dozens out there is for this device?
My main reasons are ad blocking, and to disable the idiotic headphone warning (since I can't strangle the developer of that screw up, heh heh) I use xposed on my old Nexus 7 and love it, and afaik, it was easy to put it on there.
I have searched, but either didn't find what I was sure applied to my device, or didn't find it, so sorry if it's already out there.
Thanks for any help!
my understanding is that to install xposed on a touchwiz ROM (samsung's rom), it needs to be deodex-ed
(see first post here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/not...m-stock-lollipop-5-0-n900tuvufob6-v1-t3215571 )
look for deodex for instructions. Then the thread I linked should have the correct links to xposed install.
If you use an AOSP rom, you can install directly (no deode step required).

Thanks for the info, about to give it a try.
SUCCESS! The file I was trying to flash was the wrong one, apparently. was trying to flash xposed-v75-sdk21-arm-arter97-snapdragon.zip, but I needed the V71 version instead.
v85 by dkcldark works without needing to deodex your ROM.

I am currently using this on rooted stock FOL1 knox 0x0 flashed using FlashFire.
Interesting. As this phone was given to me, and is over 3 years old, I could care less about knox or warranties, but still nice to know it can be done. The only problem I had was the touchwiz launcher deciding to just stop working, and getting those idiotic prompts "unfortunately touchwiz home has stopped, if this inconveniences you, too bad". I fixed that by ditching touchwiz home and going with Nova launcher, which I like better anyway. I also like that this phone has an IR blaster, which has led to fun with random TV's!
I hope its ok to ask my question here in this recent thread. I'm messed up with xposed I think. I had xposed installed and working while on the NK3 firmware. I don't do a lot of updates to my device very often, but decided it was finally time to move to 5.0. So I downloaded FOB6, got it flashed, rooted, twrp installed, sd card fix. I totally missed the part where I should have disabled or removed xposed before I upgraded. Now I seem to be stuck. Can't quite figure out how to remove the old version and install newer version. I tried downloading from the post by dkcldark ref'd above. I installed using flashfire (first time using that), but it seems I still have the same older version still showing when I run the app.
If all else fails I guess I'll make a backup and factory reset, but I'm hoping there is an easier way. Thanks in advance for any ideas.
I have heard xposed having lag and battery issues with the grace UX. Anyone have xposed working fine?
Thanks

Not sure if Xposed is causing my lack of deep sleep (it wasnt linked to Xposed when I had the same problem after rooting my Note 5..), but everything else seems to be perfect. Mind you, I'm using the N930W8 with Sprint's userdebug, rooted, but all is good! Just have to pin down this battery draining problem.
Does anyone have root and xposed working fine on N930F or N930FD?

Nope hardly not, I tried more than 2 days on the N930F for Xposed (FD is same firmware apparently). Wanams, Official, Systemless Magick. I think it might have to do with Samsung's new OS Grace updates or the fact of encyption. Who knows? Unless someone makes special changes to Kernel or Wanam's Xposed, it will be very hard.
I'm not telling you this for simple fact, Hydra-Rom (Not sure) might be getting closer with own kernel and no doubt that at least some development will happen when Wanam and Chainfire get a Note 7. So my advice is to wait out, backup with titanium backup now that SuperSu works.
And wait until that sweet day or month comes and behold the glory. At least, it's not a Priv in security lockdowns.

Don't take me on my word for this but booting with the latest Hydra Rom 1.15 and it's kernel, Xposed at least so far works without lag and start boot optimization. (Wanam's and N390F)
Haven't fully test Kernel or Xposed Modules (Like 3+) but seems to be going better than super lag or battery death. (New Kernel disabled encryption)
Again, might be something looking into.
EDIT 1: Was working quite well, enabled some modules like Greenify and XinternalSD. Seems like bootloop now affecting my phone, either enabling one of these modules with some settings bootlooped my phone or xposed is simply not just ready yet. Either ways, the very fact that no optimization was needed at the start (Rebooted tons of times to make sure) is progress.
EDIT 2: Don't know what I did, but just manually shut down phone and Phone booted up. I sense some lag (Might be placebo) but Xposed is working. Along with more SuperSu apps not crashing, again I reckon because Kernel disable encryption allowing mounting of /data. If you have the time, try out the new rom with kernel, seems to be getting closer.
