hey guys,
I have the Spigen Slim Armor on my N5 and i love it. but my headphones 3.5mm jack is too thick to fit the hole provided. Is there a slim adapter female/male that you can plug into the end of your headphones and into the small headphone hole on of the N5 spigen case?
I am looking for this thing also, right now i am using extension...
One of those audio splitters should do the job

I just bought an otterbox case and before this had one for my iphone 3g. With that otterbox I was able to wear the belt clip and listen to music. With the Captivate if I wear the belt clip and try to listen to music the jack is covered by the plastic. Anyone use another belt clip that allows access to the jack or do I have to use another type of case if I want to listen to music. Thanks.
the stock headphones that came with it just barely fits
but for other headphones use a dremmel or some sand paper to cut way some of the plastic on the belt clip so your headphone jack fits...

That is what I figured would have to be done. Thanks for the help!

Nice to know since I just ordered mine.
Anyone know what hard case will work with a the car dock? I am looking at getting both for my atrix but i want to make sure that im not tossing money down the drain on either. I DONT want to take the case off everytime i use the car dock either. Any ideas? Thanks in advance guys.
As far as I know, the only cases that have been shown to work with the car dock are the scrapped project moto ruggedized case and the rearth ringke cases. Neither are hard cases though.
No hard cases will fit cardock

I should revise my previous statement. The ringke case fits as well as the incipio feather (hard case) was said to fit. It seats into the car dock, activates car mode, but the top clip doesn't sit in front of the screen.

I'm using a Ram Mount with my otterbox defender, and this app. Works great, other than my one problem with the defender case.
Check this out this is what I did

This is mine.
I use the Body Glove Mirage case with the HD, Car, and Lap dock. There are inserts on all of them that need to be removed (or not installed in the case of the car dock). That is all it took. Sorry, I forgot to say, it isn't a hard case but it works for me.
Hi to all, I was wondering if there is a rubber cover which can actually fit in to the headphone jack to prevent dust and dirt from accumulating in the jack? Not a whole case just a rubber cover which will only fit into the headphone jack.
Does any thing similar exist ?
Thanks..
some of the little cheap stylus that you can buy for a buck or so on eBay have a plastic peg that fits in the head phone Jack to attach them to the phone

I use my SGS2 for lots of things and when I'm at home would like to find a dock that will take the phone while still in it's Casemate Tough case....so a little wider and deeper in the dock basically.
Ideas?

I can't be certain of the Casemate Tough Case, but my SGP Neo Hybrid case will work with the ZENiS charger dock. The dock actually has a rubber adapter (for the SII without any cases) that you can remove for the SII with a case. From a quick glace, the Neo Hybrid looks similar in dimensions with the Casemate Tough Case though.
I currently have the spigen ultra hybrid case and it holds up well but the cutout for the headphone jack is too small. It won't any of my headphones, which is the Sanheiser HD 202 II. Are there any cases out there that have a bigger cutout for the headphone jack?
The Spigen is a great case. You could probably drill it better, or change the headphone cord... I'd keep the case.
Yes, I had to take that decision so I kept the spygen hybrid case and drilled a bigger hole
You could always get a small extension cable with a thinner recessed casing like this.
I have one of these and it fits every case. The jack tip is the same size as on a set of ear buds. Then you just plug whatever headphones you want into the adapter. Saves you having to modify or drill your case.
