Case that will fit big headphone jacks - Nexus 5 Accessories

I currently have the spigen ultra hybrid case and it holds up well but the cutout for the headphone jack is too small. It won't any of my headphones, which is the Sanheiser HD 202 II. Are there any cases out there that have a bigger cutout for the headphone jack?

The Spigen is a great case. You could probably drill it better, or change the headphone cord... I'd keep the case.

Yes, I had to take that decision so I kept the spygen hybrid case and drilled a bigger hole

You could always get a small extension cable with a thinner recessed casing like this.
I have one of these and it fits every case. The jack tip is the same size as on a set of ear buds. Then you just plug whatever headphones you want into the adapter. Saves you having to modify or drill your case.

[Q] Otterbox Defender and headphone jack problems

I just bought an otterbox case and before this had one for my iphone 3g. With that otterbox I was able to wear the belt clip and listen to music. With the Captivate if I wear the belt clip and try to listen to music the jack is covered by the plastic. Anyone use another belt clip that allows access to the jack or do I have to use another type of case if I want to listen to music. Thanks.
the stock headphones that came with it just barely fits
but for other headphones use a dremmel or some sand paper to cut way some of the plastic on the belt clip so your headphone jack fits...

That is what I figured would have to be done. Thanks for the help!

Nice to know since I just ordered mine.

Anyone has problem fitting your earphone jack when used with bumpers?

I have this issue actually since Galaxy S I where if I use the phone with any casing that covers the top, my earphone will not be able to plug in fully into the headphone jack.
This problem now appears in my Galaxy S II where my UM3X cannot fit properly when I use the SGP Hybrid case. Neither can my Fiio with QED. They can only fit only when the casing does not protect the top
Anyone having the same issue and managed to solve it?
No one has problem fitting their earphones to the headphone jack through casing??

Headphone Jack cover??

Hi to all, I was wondering if there is a rubber cover which can actually fit in to the headphone jack to prevent dust and dirt from accumulating in the jack? Not a whole case just a rubber cover which will only fit into the headphone jack.
Does any thing similar exist ?
Thanks..
some of the little cheap stylus that you can buy for a buck or so on eBay have a plastic peg that fits in the head phone Jack to attach them to the phone

Mini Suit Kick Stand Case

I got sick of waiting for Seidio to release their kickstand cases, I use my phone a lot to watch stuff (shows/movies while at work). So I picked one up off ebay.
This was the listing:
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Minisuit-Rub...ll_Phone_PDA_Cases&hash=item2c761729bf&_uhb=1
I have a feeling there cheaper priced ones out there, but I can't complain, shipping was SUPER fast since it came from the States instead of China.
Overall the case is nice and compact, not overly bulky, has a rigid design on the back so it won't slip out of your hand.
All the cut outs are clean and clear. The audio jack is large enough to accommodate my Audiotechnica m50 headphone 1/8" jack if I push a bit harder than normal. Kickstand works fine, however it does make a bit of a rattling noise when it's retracted.

There are so many brands selling this exact model case as their own right now it's kind of ridiculous. Glad you got yours for cheap at least and it does seem quite rugged.
I don't like these cases much because the rubber part is pretty stiff making the buttons hard to press down. I prefer the silicone/plastic hybrid kickstand combo.

Good Bumpers that can fit right-angle aux?

I have the DayJoy "luxury" bumper which is an absolute joke. The headphone and microphone cutouts aren't even aligned properly so I can't plug my right-angle headphones in.
Anyone know of a good bumpers?
Aluminum bumpers in general are bad, they hurt signal strength.
That said I also want a nice bumper..
