[Q] The best and most stable rom? - Wildfire Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello looking for a fast, stable rom for htc wildfire. Please give me some good roms you think

Rempuzzle! Very stable, up time is currently 790 hours without a reboot. Zero glitches or lag since the day I flashed this ROM. Battery life is also great, I get generally about 5-6 days on stock battery. It has as well a nice look with the Sense 5 add ons.
I don't see a ROM for such a old and low-powered phone getting any better. It makes it an excellent business phone for me.

you have to try by yourself and decide which rom fits you best (; i can recommend latest cm 7.2 nightly, rem puzzle, jokerdroid 4.3, ultrabeam, orion and aokp (; those roms are the best ones imo (;

Best Rom
My favorite at the moment is Ultrabeam 1.5, and I use MTD partition to get more internal memory for apps. Give it a try.

For Wildfire you can try out RemPuzzle. Froyo 2.2.1. It is a sense-based ROM. It has a good battery life and is extremely smooth.
Or you can also try out a latest nightly from the Nightly Builds Thread. GB 2.3.7. CM7 has never been smooth for me on my Wildfire but it also has a good battery life. You can try it.
And no stable MIUI for Wildfire.
cm7 or miui
Of course, for taste ......
After trying many roms, for me that does not give problems is the original of Cianogen Froyo.Las have always given me problems of synchronization of Bt
Greetings.
For me the "best" is not available to comment on as each user has his/her own preferences. I have found that making my own version of mixed components has left me needing nothing in the Rom I've got now. Hybrid/aosp/sense all rolled into one lol. Love it.
P.s with the added pleasure of skygo when desired.

Weekly there are comming new roms so its difficult to chose one but look at:
How many stars has one rom, how many vieuws a tread, how many THANKS the dev?
That gives an idee how stable, fast en good a rom is than make a pick a rom.
For now i can recommand Wildchild 2.0
joop
I'm using AOKP build 38 at the moment. Apart from a non-working camera, I can highly recommend it. I've remove some of the crap that came with the ROM though, as I just don't use it. But for speed and stability, its great.
I recommend you to use CM9 with apex launcher...i had no force close and system is really smooth..i used cm7 as well but cm9 is clearly faster and looks good
This is a difficult question to answer. CyanogenMod officially doesn't support the WildFire S, we have a large number of unofficial ROMs.
I use 2 ROMs [one of them]:
CM7.2 OR CM9:
OR other...
decision is you, that you choose
Best Rom for HTC Wildfire S a510c?
I bought my girlfriend a WFS because of the one month free promo. I unlocked the bootloader, installed a custom recovery, used Heritz root method, & installed at least 3 custom ROMS that have minor bugs. Which one is best suited for the VM WFS for daily/regular use?
I'm using CM7.2, because support camera and any APP don't have problem with decode BarCode. CM9 I'm install for test.
RobotoMOD is stable, and reliable!

{Q} Personal ROM recommandation needed

Hello!
Since i rooted my HTC Desire (~1 year) I've been using MIUI Marange (formerly MIUI_AU) but it became really slow and unstable for me. I was searching around roms, but this is too much to handle for me as I'm not a pro
Please can you recommend me a:
-stylish
-stable
-atleast andorid 4.0
-A2SD
-if sense then 4.0, too
if my details are impossibe, say it then i can lower my standards
(and no Cyanogenmod please. I don't like it)

First and foremost are you CDMA or GSM...There is loads of AWESOME development for GSM, not quite as much for CDMA but still good

Stylish- hard to say, all depends on preference, any of them really...
Stable- oxygeN http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1743584
Atleast 4.0- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1484648

A2SD- Most now...just look through that reference link...
I agree about CyanogenMod...Awesome devs, but feels a little sluggish on the bravo...
Best all around Rom *drumroll*
OXYGEN ZM, by FAR! :victory: :good:
Most stable by far, fastest by light years, no bugs known! (And it doesn't look half bad with ADW or something of the sorts)
This is my personal experience, I have flashed all the roms listed above, and this is solely my opinion
PS: Lots of ROMS are great when overclocked, but to me draining your battery to no limit, just to make a ROM a little smoother is not how it should be...neat tool, but shouldn't be a necessity to live with a ROM

Slim and stable rom for the HTC One V?

Hi guys, I'm fairly new here (been lurking for years though) and more of a hardware guy than a software guru.
I have my One V (non-rooted) for a few years now. Its CPU and half a gig of RAM were giving me a lot of trouble before I started using Auto Memory Manager and a custom launcher - Apex.
Now performance is acceptable, but I just want to root already and.get rid of Sense, all immortal bloatware and have better multitasking.
Went through the web pages of all popular roms such as AOPK, CM, MIUI, etc., but my phone is not.listed anywhere as an officially supported.device.
I'm not looking for anything flashy, just the opposite - looking for a simple, naked rom with only google play store and.nothing else, small memory footprint and.stable. Don't need bluetooth, camera, etc., don't want to overclock or anything, just a clean, fast rom without Sense, stable enough not.to crash my.alarm and get me fired..
Oppinions.about Primou? Other suggestions?
Thanks.in advance.
Anyone?

u can try Cyanogen Mod 10
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2653961
To be honest, I've used the device for a long time and Ignorance v5 has been the best performing and most stable ROM for me but it's sense-based. You should try CM10 because it's a great ROM. Another ROM which I really liked is SlimBean http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=49763436.
In any case I suggest installing PurePerformanceX ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2360670 ) and TurboBoost ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2145133 ). These mods will make the device noticeably faster and more responsive. You can also odex your ROM if you want to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2390162.
Thanks everyone, but why isn't my device listed as supported in thr CM10 web page?
Greetings!
These "best ROM" type of threads inevitably lead to disaster, mayhem, and general havoc. Therefore, I am going to close this thread down to avoid any harsh times if you will.
Just take a gander at the various ROMs and their features in the development area and see what appeals to you. I just got a OnePlus One and have spent the last 3 days flashing pretty much every ROM the phone has to offer, and I can tell you there are nuances that no one could have told me about, before I found the one I currently like.
Happy hunting!

Which rom is the best for "basic" usage ?

Hi! I'm planning to reflash my rom becuase the current JB is very slow after a few months of usage.
The phone will be used for basic tasks like calling, sms, email and taking photos (occaisonally). Which one is the best rom (stock based or custom) for this ? 3D performance is not that important, but battery efficiency and stability is.
I've seen we have CM13 and CM11 roms are they reliable ? The phone will be used by a person who can't reflash it if an "unexpected" problem/crash occurs.
Currently downloading CM11 by Ace2Nutzer.

All kk ROMs are stable right now. And it have great performance and battery life.
Cm13 is also quite good for basic usage.
If it's for long term, I'd go with latest ace2nutzer cm11 ROM.
