For Wildfire you can try out RemPuzzle. Froyo 2.2.1. It is a sense-based ROM. It has a good battery life and is extremely smooth.
Or you can also try out a latest nightly from the Nightly Builds Thread. GB 2.3.7. CM7 has never been smooth for me on my Wildfire but it also has a good battery life. You can try it.
And no stable MIUI for Wildfire.

cm7 or miui

Of course, for taste ......
After trying many roms, for me that does not give problems is the original of Cianogen Froyo.Las have always given me problems of synchronization of Bt
Greetings.

For me the "best" is not available to comment on as each user has his/her own preferences. I have found that making my own version of mixed components has left me needing nothing in the Rom I've got now. Hybrid/aosp/sense all rolled into one lol. Love it.
P.s with the added pleasure of skygo when desired.

[Q] Best [DHD SENSE ROM] for average use??

Hi, I would be very happy if all u rom/flash users
could help me and rate the best ROM for average use.
Whit average use I mean, Calling, texting, gaming and just regular use of the phone.
Thanks for all input u can give me.
Right now I am on LeeDroid HD V2.2.2 LeeDroid Kernel V2.2.9
Radio: 12.28e.60.140fU_26.04.02.17_M2
I Think The Sense Roms from Mike1986 and Leedroid are good for overall performance(Y)
CM7 and the Miui rom are also good roms but without Sense.
If you're looking to improve battery life, you can try switching Radio's. (Radio tread in Dev section). I'm running the 26.06.03.24_M2 radio and get good battery life. About 1,5 day with medium usage and 1 day heavy usage.
All sense roms have its advantages/disadvantages. Its really up to you which one you choose.
Atm im on CoreDroid v 3.3 but i will test arhd 3.5 and the newest release of [email protected] when my internet is working properly again...

I really like the sense overlay, so im using android revolution 4 with gingerbread. Its excellent for day to day use, and has plenty of performance tweaks to make it really nice and fast
have tried a few of the gingerbread sense roms and the i found rcmix 5.9 to be the best so far, bug free as far as i can tell
Using RevHD here, not dabbled in other roms but its soo close to stock and fast and relatively bug free (and most bugs are rectified fast)
all round great rom
Thanxs all..
Thank u all for youre input..
I´ve just flashed the CoreDroid HD GD 2.3.3 v5.1 and I think it works fine..
Will see in a couple of days how good/bad it is

Hi.. I thought I would try CoreDroid 3.3, which RADIO are you on, and which is the recommended one??
Using LeeDroid's ROM here.
From what I can tell, the speed and battery life is excellent and I have hit any bugs on the ROM yet...
I agree though, full credit to all the Chefs here because all the ROMs are excellent.
Again using LeeDroid 2.2.3 here... excellent everyday performance, easily tweaked, absolutely fantastic!
Its just trial and error to find one you like, all Rom's are good! And all the chefs do a fantastic job at it!!!

[q] which rom?

After rooting my HTC Desire i thought i had done the hard bit.
After reading the mountains of info; about Roms I dont know if I am any wiser, confused maybe. As a Newby to this i have a great deal to learn, I am after some guidance with peoples reccomendations as to which ROM is best for me.
I think i want -Stability, more than anything as Much as the latest Android updates, thanks for any suggestions
If stability is priority fo you and you want bug-free ROMs, I'd reccomend to try Froyo ROMs. Gingerbread ROMs are stable, as well, but bugs occur in them - not big ones, but still.
And for the ROMs - Insertcoin HD/ RCMixHD / LeeDroid/ Starburst - take your pick, all good

CyanogenMod. I still run their RC3 and considering I've never had any issues large enough to complain about, I never bothered to upgrade to their current release
Thanks for the Quick reply, will take on board
Thanks for the quick reply, reads well
Honestly though, if you look at the desire forum, it gives you a good idea which ROMs have the most amount of issues. Although a lot are caused by noob errors
GB: InsertCoin / RCMix
Froyo: Leedroid
In the last few days I have tried all the major gb roms(rcm, insertcoin, reflex etc), all of them have been stable but not fast enough. I think that may be due to the fact that there is currently no stock rom for desire gb. I would recommend leedroid 2.4.1. Its very fast and stable. I will switched to a gb rom once the official software has been released.

[Q] Opinions?

Hey everyone, would just like to hear everyones opinion on the best sense rom for battery life and smoothness? No Data2SD or data2whatever suggestions please as my sdcard is only a class 2.. A2SD+ would be nice tho! I have tried quite a few roms but would like to hear others opinions beforre I go to any more. I know it all comes down to personal preference but im just trying to find the best rom for battery life and smoothness, which shouldnt be as much of a preference thing.. Any responses will be much appreciated, thanks!
~Dan!
I'm sorry to tell you that no answer is going to help you at all.
All ROMs work well, the developers do a fantastic job, and the differences between ROMs depends more on what you are looking for or "what your desire likes more" than on the ROM itself. There are no slow or laggy builds (except the betas) so the best answer is: try - nandroid - try another until you find the one that works better for you.
By the way, I think you should look for stock Sense ROMs like InsertCoin or LeeDroid, not ports
And again a (senseless) best-rom thread....
SwiftKeyed from Oxygen with Transparent XDA App

Just Rooted & Booted lol My DHD

Any recommendations for a ROM ? there are so many out there dunno where to start I need good batterylife and CM7 based ROMs are a big NO NO...
Thanks in advanced
arhd 6.1.5
hi m8, using arhd 6.1.5 with no probs, battery life is a big ask as depends on what you are running during the day ie bluetooth, gps, wifi etc, as battery life is different for each user.

Thanks guys I will have a look at screen shots of both ROM's although battery life is a big issue for me so is stability and customization.
Try Galnet MIUI stable. They have an awesome performance and a great battery life (currently running at 1-4 mA in idle.)
If you don't like the iphone-ish UI, try another launcher like Launcher Pro.
I do what i want, because I can.
MIUI is based on CM7, iv'e played with a friends DHD who has CM7 installed its just too bland and stock... Sense is way superior IMO and the Sense camera is 100x better than the CM7 offering + iv'e seen screens of MIUI (looks like iOS lol) Definatly dont want that. BUT Thanks anyway dude.
Virtuous affinity is a fantastic Rom mate I was using the unity series but the guys that worked on this have excelled themselves ! So smooth lots of features its great! I love my phone all over again

I know that this isn't a ROM recommendation but iff you want good battery life checkout the accessories section of the forum and look at the evo 3d/sensation battery MOD
ATM I try the new SmartDroid Rom and I'm absolute happy with it. Battery life is great and it's very smooth.

Another useless post.....i remember answering Q's like this many times before as well. Why pppl do not use search?? (i hope a mod steps in here anyway )
There is no such thing called a perfect ROM. What suits my necessities best does not mean that it lives up to your expectation. The battery n stuffs like this are related to how one uses his/her phone, not on the ROM itself (well a little, maybe).
That being said, try one by one yrself n find out one that suits you based.
Too many threads like this. Its down to personal preference and these threads can start into flaming wars/ trolling. Thread closed.

Best ROM for Wildfire S

Hi guys, What is best daily-use ROM for Wildfire S with support for ext partition(aplications)? Best 2.3.7 or 4.0.4. Thanks, I am asking because i am going to make my friend's wildfire better.
One more thanks for every response.

So what are the most stable and the fastest Roms worth of trying?
Please use the search function. Everyday someone makes a new thread asking for which is best rom.

Weekly there are comming new roms so its difficult to chose one but look at:
How many stars has one rom, how many vieuws a tread, how many THANKS the dev?
That gives an idee how stable, fast en good a rom is than make a pick a rom.
For now i can recommand Wildchild 2.0
joop
I'm using AOKP build 38 at the moment. Apart from a non-working camera, I can highly recommend it. I've remove some of the crap that came with the ROM though, as I just don't use it. But for speed and stability, its great.
I recommend you to use CM9 with apex launcher...i had no force close and system is really smooth..i used cm7 as well but cm9 is clearly faster and looks good
This is a difficult question to answer. CyanogenMod officially doesn't support the WildFire S, we have a large number of unofficial ROMs.
I use 2 ROMs [one of them]:
CM7.2 OR CM9:
OR other...
decision is you, that you choose
Best Rom for HTC Wildfire S a510c?
I bought my girlfriend a WFS because of the one month free promo. I unlocked the bootloader, installed a custom recovery, used Heritz root method, & installed at least 3 custom ROMS that have minor bugs. Which one is best suited for the VM WFS for daily/regular use?
I'm using CM7.2, because support camera and any APP don't have problem with decode BarCode. CM9 I'm install for test.
RobotoMOD is stable, and reliable!
