[Q] How to localize SM-N900T to language of another country. - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 3

There is SM-N900T Baseband N900TUVUBMI7, but there's no Russian language.
1. How to enable system language of another country (ie, display, handwriting, voice control)?
2. How to remove operators app from T-mobile and other useless app?
3. How to update ROM to ROM SM-N9005 required region with preservation functioning of the network, core, etc.?

Hello, were you able to solve this? I have a Friend in Russia, whom I sent a N900t to. He has used an app or 2 to change the language to Russian, however, it does not change the System language.
Wondering if the Firmware for the N9005 will work as it should? Or, how about the N900 ? But if I am correct, the N900 is Exynos, and the N900T Snapdragon, right? - Thus they would not work?
Any help would be appreciated, as I cannot see a clear solution without something not working properly. He has attempted to reinstall via Kies, but since its a N900t, it just reinstalled the English OS/
Be well.

[Q] Galaxy Note 2014 (china firmware help)

Greetings, few days ago I was in China and bought GN 2014. As most of you know in China they block access to play store and install their own firmware. I already rooted my device, and was wondering how I can enable all languages, because currently, there are 3 languages. And also, How to install play market on it. I tried downloading apk. file, but its not working (Installed but won't open)
Help please. (Sorry if this question is too noobish)
I think that the device then has no Google license, making it impossible. There are only the various other stores.
This is definitely the case with exotics, like car stereos(Parrot Asteroid). In this case theres probably a solution, which of course requires root.
Why don't you try to flash with ODIN some of the official ROMs ? Then you will have no need of ROOT and will have all the languages. What is the model name exactly ?

Flashing an other stock firmware works fine I did it on mine.
But expect some little lag there wasn't on the chinese firmware.
I'm in China too and am considering buying the Note 10.1 so I'll be facing the same problem.
With a Chinese friend's Asus Transformer Prime, I flashed an official Taiwanese ROM so that she could access Google Play, but with this method you no longer get OTA updates. Also, as mickmad noted above, you can sometimes get unpredictable performance issues if you use ROMs intended for another region. Only later did I find that you could just install the necessary Google apps while keeping the original ROM. Here's a method devilfun here on XDA used for the Prime, perhaps it will work with the Note:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=21094128&postcount=11
The .rar referenced was a package of Google apps, I think. I haven't checked the package myself, but note that you probably need GoogleServicesFramework.apk and Googleloginservice.apk in addition to the obvious ones. Simple_noob may have been unsuccessful for any one of several reasons:
1. The apks were copied to the wrong location before installation.
2. Not all the necessary apks were copied.
3. The necessary file permissions were not set.
If you can work it out, let us potential Note buyers in China know how you did it!
Well when i said more lag I meant that other region firmwares have all the samsung apps which tends to produce some little lag (where chinese firware has only a limited part of these samsung apps.)
Really no big deal as it will be corrected in future versions I am sure (see the example of mk1 firmware for p600)
Not sure for OTAs thought, but i never waited for them anyway on my other devices.
And just to got the samsung keyboard (and not the one for chinese which is different) it already worst the change .... plus getting rid of chinese useless apps, some settings which weren't in english even the language was set to english ... choice between almost any language ... and so on
Thanks a lot to everyone who replied and helped.
I installed needed firmware and everything works perfectly

I have the same case as yours. I am planning to do the same as you did. Can you help provide the steps on how to flash another stock firmware for Note 10.1 P-601 model? Which region/country firmware did you use?

Just follow these steps :
1, Download any region / country rom from this link , preferable MJB being the latest. http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=SM-P601.
2. Extract the downloaded zip file.
3. Extract the attached odin 3.09.
4. Enter download mode by pressing power+volume down , then volume up.
5. Connect your PC/Laptop to your Note , wait till the com port turns blue.
6. Flash the .tar file of the rom through "AP" & hit start.
7. Wait till flash is complete, & note restarts.
8. You now will have a working PLAY STORE.
other download links or torrents for official firmware
Great info supplied in the above posts ! I also currently have a P601 bought in China and would like to change the firmware but the rapidgator and terafile links aren't working so well for me.
Terafile now has a limit of one Gig for free users and rapidgator downloads keep failing mid way.
Does anyone have any torrent links or other download links for the official firmware?
Thanks in advance.
Hello,
I'm interested as I'm in the same case. Where can I download a good English version (wifi +3G)?
Buy a Samsung tablet from the US (or Europe) next time!

[Q] Changing ROM Region?

From my device:
AP: T325ZSU1BNK1
CP: T325ZSU1BNK1
CSC: T325OZS1BNK1
Baseband version T325ZSU1BNK1
Kernel version [email protected]#1 Tue Nov 11 21:20:55 KST 2014
Build number KOT49H.T325ZSU1BNK1
I live and work primarily in the United States, and realize there's no official US ROM for this device, which I purchased new from eBay. However--given that I speak English--I wonder: are there ANY advantages or disadvantages to switching to a ROM designed for a largely English-speaking region (e.g., UK)? As I understand it, to avoid tripping KNOX, I'd need to use a ROM dated no later than the one presently installed on my device. I've rooted my device using the Towelroot app and directions so nicely detailed elsewhere on this site. But, I'm not clear what practical differences exist between the various regional ROMs. Can anyone clarify for me?
Many thanks.
XAR is the regional code for usa, all regional roms are almost similar but vary a little depending on rules amd regulations of given country, apart from this i have no idea about others.

like poster above said XAR is US / English, it's also known as Cellular South.

Thanks. And sorry. Looking at my original post, I find that I neglected to mention my device name, but only provided the ROM version. Mea culpa. I have the SM-T325 (LTE), for which there's no US-based carrier support, AFAIK, and no XAR ROM on the sammobile site. Unless I've just missed it.
I know there's a trick which can enable US English without rooting as long as EN-US existed in framework-res.APK.
If you just need EN-US language, you can use some simple commands which is required for morelocales2 (no rooting required).
If you need to enable English on the tablet then just go to
Settings -> Controls (3rd tab) -> Language and Input ( First item on left pane) -> Then it will say Language in the right pane (first item) click it and you should be-able to select English.

Thanks. The Tablet arrived NIB "speaking English," so that's never been an issue. I merely wondered if there was any reason to consider changing to a different ROM. Sounds like not.

As far as I know, I don't think there is a difference besides probably minor things (like default language) , even my Note 3 n9005 I bought at walmat in the US had the United Arab Emirates firmware installed in it and it still worked with my USA carrier

Vendor Change?

Hye guys, not sure if this has been answered before - I did try and search all around for answers.
I have a note 10 + purchased in Australia - due to the delay in carrier updates I flashed a UK firmware (though the same SM-N975 firmware) for quicker updates.
However now that I have flashed back to my AU firmware - it seems the vendor file has been overridden and is locked possibly. As everytime I install a new firmware the set up screen shows in French until I switch the language to English AU. Once set up everything works fine apart from Samsung Members app - it shows in French which I now believe is due to the vendor file being locked?
Ive tried to odin flash Userdata with the Home CSC and CSC but no luck.
Any insight would help
thank you

How to change CSC region

Hi to all.
Last week I got A50. During first boot of system I didnt inserted SIM card ant it seems that it triggered installing firmware for diferent region. Im located in Serbia but firmware is for Turkey and I have many apps on turkish language without posibility to change language in those apps.
Is any method to change CSC?
Thanks in advance!
Ok, no answer yet. Maybe to precise my question,
Could someone tell me which files I need to use to change my current CSC Turkey to lets say Israel CSC ILO.
I suppose it could be done with Odin but which versions of firmware...
Thanks

Nope, Im totaly disapointed in comunity in section for model A50. There is no answers, there is no tutorials, there is no custom roms except two of them, and I will probably sell this phone.

you should download https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/galaxy-a50/firmware/SM-A505F/TUR/download/A505FDDU4BTC9/330469/ this version, and use odin to flash it in your phone. Keep the sim in the phone for the process, because with that it will verify you are in turkey.
Although in odin the process may work if you use the HOME_CSC file to keep the data of your phone intact, i would suggest using the other file, because with that you'll have a fresher device

Russian Language ROM S20 Ultra SM-G988U1

Good evening everyone!
I am currently using the unlocked version of the S20 Ultra 5G on the AT&T network here in the states. I am interested in a ROM that has full Russian language support. Would I be able to install and use the AT&T 'bloatware' such as WiFi calling, 5G bands, etc if I install a ROM with the Russian language and install the User data for AT&T?
Which ROM has the Russian language built in. I tried the ADB way to change the language but it's only partially working as some things are still in English.
Thank you for your help!

The Global variant with the Exynos chipset SHOULD have the best support for Russian language. What model do you own? Is your device bootloader unlocked or just carrier unlocked? If you have a US variant flashing Global firmware isn't an option and AT&T firmware isn't compatible with the Exynos variant.
