I have some old UCCW widgets saved from before I started using zooper. I was curious if there was any official or work-around methods for importing those widgets into zooper? I poked around the settings but haven't found it yet.
Thanks

Not possible and I highly doubt it ever will be. You'll have to recreate the UCCWs in Zooper. Might be a good exercise to get to know Zooper a bit more though

Thank you. I expected as much but figured I would ask first.

i can't find my town in the list of weather widget. As far as i remember, my old WinMob device had the same problem. There it was possible to add an entry in the file weather_cities.xml (name was like this). But i can't finde such a file on my android device.
Any ideas? Thanks a lot for your help.

I'm interested in this as well...
Any ideas how we can do this team?
doesn't look like anybody has any suggestions... but I think it should be possible to manage that. maybe we have to search longer for the required file.

did anyone find an answer to this?
So I've been looking thru all the forums trying to find a similar instance but I cannot. I want to edit the SGS2 Digital Clock widget to where if you touch click it, it will open up the TW Clock Package app. I'm not a programmer or developer, but I know this can be done because I've been using the Weather and Clock Widget from the market and it does exactly this. If I touch click the clock portion of the widget it will open up the clockpackage.apk. It can even be customized to open up a different apk. Now I've searched thru some of the xml files trying to find the lines of code that enable such a feature but with no luck. Anyone willing to help me on this or point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it.

That would require that apk's source code, reverse engineering, programming experience, and a recompile. You could try looking up on how you'd go about decompiling apks? I'm also betting that you'll need android sdk, or at the least, Eclipse equivalent programming software for programming.

Wow. Thats a lot more work than I thought it would be. Probably best to leave it to the professionals.

Since its something as simple as making a widget 'clickable' for launching a different app, I'm sure there's pre-made program templates of some sort made by other devs who have such function, the issue at hand would still be the same though.

Yeah I figure since it was more a widget question than an app submission I'd better post it in the Q&A forum.
So I've just started playing with Zooper and this is something has been an issue. With the layout I have now whenever the weather condition whenever it is thunderstorming outside (which is very often) it overlaps the word condition. So my question is: Is there any way to abbreviate thunderstorm to T-Storm?
Well that was actually easier to do than I thought. Just in case anyone else needs it here is what I did.
$#WCCOND#=thunderstorm?T-Storm:#WCCOND#$

Found this buried in a Google Search. Thank you. Any idea for how to do this for multiple codes? IE, T-Storms, Scattered T-Storms, Heavy Blizzard, etc.?

Thanks! I'm digging around a bit more with Zooper. Appreciate the information!

You just have to repeat the code for every weather condition you want to abbreviate.
I also think you don't need the last bit of the code, this should do the trick:
$#WCCOND#=thunderstorm?T-Storm$$#WCCOND#=scattered clouds?S-Clouds$

How is this code finished? I tried using what's listed and nothing displays. It needs to end by telling it to display the current condition if it's different then any of the conditions listed to abbreviate. Messing with it and can't figure out the right ending.

Could you work out a solution?
Hi guys!
Sorry if not here is the place for that. But I wonder if there is any way to block the editing of widgets? I ask this because I wanted to block some before sharing.
Thank you in advance.

Not that I know of, as far as making it un-editable when sharing it with someone else.
Although somewhere I recall someone maybe charging for a cool Zooper widget that supposedly couldn't be edited. Maybe someone has the answer. I know in Tasker with the AppFactory plugin any Tasker Task/Project/etc can be exported as an app and not editable for the most part.
Would be cool if Zooper had this functionality in some fashion too.

Been searching via google for these but no luck so far finding an answer. Here is what I am trying to figure out.
1. Is it possible to display the active tasker profile in Zooper? In know there is some functionality with tasker and Zooper but not got enough knowledge of it.
2. Is it possible to link my Google + profile picture to Zooper so it shows up on widget.
3. Is it possible to display the mah of the current charging the device. Much like Gsam battery monitor does.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Chris
Anyone have any pointers?

1) The Tasker variable %PACTIVE displays a comma separated list of all currently active profiles so it's just a matter of passing that list to a zooper variable.
2) Not that I know of.
3) No. You might be able to put something together using Tasker, maybe.

Awesome. Might give this a try. Thanks

Time of all day events is 00-00 but Zooper. Eg. Today is 11 of June and I have all day event on 12-th of June, and I'm using +#C0STd# to show days left till next event, so that event is shown as +0 instead of +1. How can I fix it?
Here's what I did in Tasker and Zooper.
See the attached, you will need to rename the .txt to . prf for tasker and .zw i think for Zooper.
