Hi,
I can't beleive that I have to use 2 lines to show date Item on today with this new ROM! How can I hack the reg in order to optimize space on my today screen?
try this:
Hi Ecraseur,
Edited : I was not able to download your file but found it under another thread.
Seems to work quite nicely. Only question I have, it says "@466" with me, just before the time is displayed. What is this and can it be taken away ?
regards,
Ruud
What is the @NNN number
The @NNN number you see on your display is Internet Time, as defined by Swatch.

Best Regards
Hi Ecraseur,
OK, nice read. I now completely understand what it means.
At @562, I was completely informed
Now, how do I get it away as I hardly ever have any need for it.
Or is this not possible. I mean, there are different formats possible for
the date and the time, but the time has no mentioning whatsoever of this Swatch-time.
regards,
Ruud

Greetings,
I'm the developer of TodayTime! I've read all of your comments and suggestions and I'll check the file, make some changes and post a new version later today!
New version will include support for date & time formats either on the left and/or the right of the screen (and maybe the center!), format support for swatch internet time, and font-size overriding.
Please check back later for a new version
Great! Thank you very much for the plugin
Is it possible to add an alarm bell time if it's turned on? Just like the normal WM5 plugin? And maybe the active alarms time too?
I personally don't use swatch time and I prefer alarm time
The changes are made, i'll test it and upload a new version tomorrow!

Hi any update on this?
Hi, i'm posting a little wm_paint bug.
When switching from poirtrait to landscape mode, time is hidden by a scrollbar if any.
Any way to check the existence of the scrollbar?
I'd like to see the clock icon as in the original version also (nuttin important however).

It is finally here for download, Weather with radar, forecast, hurricane, and a SYSTEM MONITOR!!!!
For Forum Viewers:
I am pleased to release the latest updated version of our weather for wm 6.1.
I have spent lots of hours with Showaco revamping the layout. We are please to see that our old cab had hundreds of downloads, so we're pretty sure you are all gonna love this.
Check it. We have gotten rid of a forecast panel that messes up the layouts for one of your other panels. We went with a complete revolution to the way you display multiple full screen panels, with different info, and pics. Guaranteed no other weather exists like this for your WM6.1 smartphone.
We hope you like it alot. This new forecast will switch between your current homescreen, no matter what it is, EVEN IF IT IS NOT ONE OF OUR LAYOUTS!!! That's right, if you mod your screen, but still want to use the forecast panels, no problem. Just go to the link in your start menu, and it will switch to our forecast panels, and press on any of the forecast days or their right soft key, and BAM. You are right back to your original homescreen. So you can use one of the several layouts we preset for you, or you can make your own. If you do, I highly suggest using Showaco's CPR and DLL switcher app. It is very sweet for us, modders.
Below are instructions on how to install and how to use. Same as before, there are layouts for 5 day,4,3,2 day, and Current Day forecast for the clock, as well as layouts with a monitor with background for the clock or without. I have added several new options in the advanced options menu. One of which is to enable audibles during updates. So, if you want, you can have auditory announcement during the updating process. Use if you want or not. The possibilites are becoming endless.
LOOK AT POST #33, FOR MORE PICS OF OTHER ADDITIONAL LAYOUTS!!!
NOTE: I have added a new homescreen layout for windows mobile 6.1 standard. It is a sliding panel with media homescreen. It is just set up best for our new app. So, just go to the homescreen layouts section at any time and choose, kennys sliding panel. That's it. Your phone will be complete.
Instructions:
******MAKE SURE YOU READ THE UNINSTALL NOTES & BACKUP YOUR REGS BEFORE INSTALLING, IF YOU ARE UNFAMILIAR************
1. Download the cab from xda site from link below.
2. Copy the cab to your smartphone.
3. Navigate, using your phone, to the place that you copied the cab, and click on the cab's icon.
4. You will then automatically begin installing the application.
5. Once install is complete, go to ODSHOWeather Options in your start menu and set up all of your options.
6. Reboot if needed.
7. If weather update has not already been completed at this point. Run weather update. If you are not sure where to start it,
just press on any page in the forecast panel, or access it through your start menu.
8. Enjoy!!!
Uninstall Notes:
If you wish to uninstall the weather app, instructions are as follows:
1. Go to settings and remove programs. Once in remove programs, select the ODSHOWeather WM6.1 Weather
2. It will uninstall, it takes up to a few minutes.
3. If any settings are messed up. Update your regs from before install.
4. To remove start menu links, just navigate using explorer on your phone or pc to remove the lnk to our app. That's it.
5. For any further questions, just Post or pm Outerdepth or Showaco on the xda forums.
Usage Instructions:
1. We have set the clock right soft key to switch to the forecast panels, press it to switch to those.
2. To return to your homescreen, just press the center button on any of the forecast panels or their right soft keys.
3. The radar, hurricane, and air quality pages have center button (actionurl) linked to the apps that update those.

For anyone that needs to find their city code, use this link and change the location in this url to the name of your city and then go to it and it will give a list of all cities worldwide that have that name. Get your location from there and enter it exactly as it appears in the quotes, but do not use the quotes.
http://hadle.accu-weather.com/widget...ation=calcutta
So, for this link above, if you were looking for Calcutta, India. Go to this link, and you will see a line like this:
<location cnt="1" city="Calcutta" state="India(Bangla)" location="ASI|IN|IN036|CALCUTTA" />
So your location to enter in to options would be :
ASI|IN|IN036|CALCUTTA
This should work for cities worldwide.

Thanks for the input man. I appreciate it. It is very busy if you have the monitor, but not much busier than it would be with iconbar up top. That has about the same amount of plugins as mine, but I have included a battery meter and system monitor. It's all on one line, just like the iconbar, and with the iconbar removed from the top, it takes up the exact same amount of space. I am sorry to hear that you don't like the busy-ness of it. Just so you know the monitor is an addon. If you don't like it, there are two other layouts without it. So no need to hate. Anything else? That was a really short reply, no other ideas? Well, if you think of something else, please, feel free to respond.

Hey dude, good to hear from you. I haven't heard from you in a while. It's nice to know you are still around. I hoped you would like the newly updated weather app. I notice you obviously think it looks too busy for you as well, cool. No need for the monitor, that's cool, I know you already have one anyways. I am thinking about making the different plugins for the monitor optional, so you can pick which ones you want and don't. If you think that's a good idea or anyone else does, please, feel free to reply. Hope you're having a good one. Take it easy, brother.
great app! I do have a question/concern...
After I installed it and did several updates, the temperatures for the 5 day stayed the same for a while, but after a few times, they finally adjusted to todays date, but with the same temps as before. Example: for wednesday it said low was 72 and high was 98, after updating it said friday was 72 - 98 even though the sliding forecast panel had the high on friday being 86.
Also, the temp. reading next to the clock stayed at 82 degrees all day and still hasn't went up or down. I live in the south and I know when it isn't 82 lol.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks again.
I'm downloading now. Looking forward to trying this out.
Living in the UK, I suspect the radar and hurricane warnings will be of little practical use but hey, I'm connected. I know what's happening.
Off to play with my new toy, will report back ...
I think I can help you
No problem, if you open your reg editor and go to HKLM\Software\Outerdepth\KPWeather, find the entry that says: fupdate.
Change that value to 1. It will run the app in its entirety. This will then reload your screen at the end of the update. What happens on this fupdate=1, is your phone runs the update for the forecast panel.
We didn't want to update the forecast panel on every update, because it adds time to updating the weather, so we have it set to update the forecast days on every 8 times, this updates the forecast panel, and the forecast icons and data on the clock panel. Sorry for the confusion.
I live in the south as well, Memphis, TN. It has horrible temps here, so I understand. I am not sure about it not updating these values for you.
PM me, and we will get to the bottom of this, quickly I am sure. Sounds like a refresh problem that's all. We will get to the bottom of this. Just pm me.

Look at previous post!!
This is for everyone, if you are having trouble getting the forecast icons to change at 1st, look at the previous post, this should update them once you run weather update. I will also upload a reg key for this. It is located below.
Sorry for any confusion. I will make the updated cab fix this, so when you 1st install it, there is no problem. For now, just download this reg key below, install it by clicking on it in your explorer, then run weather update. Thanks.
Edit: I have a new cab with this updating the everything the 1st time fixed. Also, I have left out some pngs on the storage card. The new cab has them. Sorry for any inconvenience. It is not prob. Just download the new cab and it will solve your problems. Sorry about any confusion. Here's the link:

Thanks.

I hate to bump my own thread.
I have to. I messed up and left some pngs out of the cab for the storage card. It will not update the forecast icons on the clock panel, so this cab fixes that. Everything else should be good. Sorry for any inconveniences.
I have tried everything under the sun to keep this app smooth. Sorry for wasting time for anybody. This is the breaks when writing software. I am glad though, to see that people don't give up. Hope you all enjoy the app!!

That's the new link to the cab.
Edit: I have given this to Faus Zayas from our forums here, this kid knows his sh!t too. He has run the fix, and now all digits update correctly. Thanks to him for being my guinea pig.
Okay.
I uninstalled the previous weather app by NRG which has been trouble-free and installed your cab as per instructions. All seemed well and what appeared to be the present conditions and forecast for somewhere within the 'Rebellious Colonies' appeared.
98F - bugger me that's cosy.
I went to options and input the magic code for the nearest place to me, a town about 10 miles and 1500ft from me, and updated.
'No data available' - I am disconsolate.
I've checked the settings, reset the phone, checked the settings, burned offerings, bought it a beer; to no avail. The cat's made itself scarce again ...
So. What have I stuffed-up?
Does it just need more beer? Or something much more fiendishly clever?
I do like the system bar, although a Bluetooth icon appears even if BT is switched off.
I've made a mess of this haven't I?
*** EDIT ***
Belay that Mr Christian, promptly uninstall our version and replace it with the latest.
Oh yes, and you can stop flogging the cabin-boy now ...
so far, works like a champ!
Thanks for your hard work on it!!
Bugger, I haven't the foggiest, what you just said?
No, just kidding. I understood most of what you said. Either that was for a quick jest or that was a drunken rant. Either way, that was frickin swizzle up in the hizzle for rizzle my nizzle. That's izzle.

Hey everyone, I wanted to say:
I am glad the new cab seems to have fixed all probs. I want to add that there are other digits you can use that are in your storage card. They vary in color. You can customize this with these. For now, until I get this as an option. You can just copy the digits in any of the digits folders, and paste them over the originals. Then reupdate the weather to see your reflected changes.
There are many to choose from. Hope you enjoy.
hi
I was wondering if there is anyway I can make ODSHOWeather display in it's own panel and not take over the Carrier/Time panel?
Hi Outerdepth
How did you manage to get myPhoto more than 10 from the pictures files saved in the storage card?

It could be done by addng a current conditions page to the forecast panel. But not with multiple days on one page, only current for one page and each forecast day with its own page.
Another way is I could write you something that you could map to a key which would let you show and hide clock weather with the push of a button. The change would take a couple of seconds it wouldn't be instant.
Love this app!! Guys feel free to put it in the directorys over at TxCaesar. I have some questions:
the system monitor, seems to show messages when there are none, and the status of the batter is wrong. it almost seems like its just a pic file..am I doing something wrong?
Thanks again for all that youve done!!

Is there any way to display the next appointment on the Calendar section of the homescreen instead of just Today and Tomorrow's Appointments?
I seem to remember that there was that option somewhere, but I cannot seem to find it.
Any Help would be appreciated.

Yes i would like to know as well, maybe like 7 days out at least.
Does anybody have any ideas? I have found the setting if I were using the WM screen instead of TF3D, but I have been unable to find a setting for TF3D.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I have a very customized theme and clock, and do not want to lose either of those with this modification. Is there just a cab out there to JUST modify the amount of appointments shown?
Thanks,
KD8FRE
Anyone ever find a solution to this? I just want my appointments to show more than one day in advance...like maybe a week or two. I dont want to change anything else. Can anyone help with how to do this? I have searched and found the question asked several times, but never answered.
The script should show an extra "button" while the phone is ringing. Sliding your finger right over this button will disconnect the call and redial it back right away.
I did this because of the switching to an "unlimited minutes" plan, while some of my friends that call me are on some very expensive ones. This allows calling such a person back in one single swipe.
Attaching the tasker xml as well as an exported "application". Please note, those "applications" are a new tasker feature i am not very familiar with, i have no idea of what are the dependencies of those, why it puts what it puts in the manifest, how the implementation looks etc. If you install that apk, you do it at your own risk. All i did was exporting the same tab into both xml and apk from tasker, i did not code a single line in Eclipse to make it, nor i've signed it myself.
PS: Not sure if this is of any interest to anyone, but i've decided to share anyway.
Thanks for this, It will be very useful for me.

Very useful, thanks.
I addedd a button to reject the incoming call and send a courtesy SMS to inform that I'm busy now and I recall as soon I can.
Just a question: I didn't find the association between swipe to right and scene (rectangle or whatelese).
Is it possible to add the association between a swipe to left gesture too?
How can I associate a gesture (not a tap or long tap) to an object?
EDIT:
Found!
Stroke->Direction
I understand that only one gesture can be associated to an object

Sorry for the delay, i've been AFK.
all devs should implement this mod in their rom
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium
This is not even a mod, just a little tasker script. It cannot be "implemented in a ROM"
I suppose I'm fairly stupid since I can't import the file in tasker. Any tips? (the prj.xml file, not the apk obviously)
---------- Post added at 07:47 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:01 PM ----------
Quick note,
Your post inspired me. Ever since switching to pay as you go, I never answer the phone. I call back using groove ip.
Did this quick setup in tasker:
When Incoming call:
Copy CNUM (incoming number) to clipboard
If wifi is connected, launch groove ip
Very simple, the second I swipe to deny the call, groove ip is already open, and I'm ready to paste the number! Very sweet!
It would be awesome if there was Reject the call and remind me in 30 mins or 1hour or it creates a reminder in my calender.

Reminding from tasker is definitely possible. Not sure about calendar reminders, though. It is possible to add reminders using the normal (java) app API, though.

Should work, but you will probably need to edit it a bit and move the "reject and call back" button to some better location.
PS: Maybe i should code an actual "real" app with this stuff, "coding" anything but the simplest things in tasker is a pain in the butt, really. The problem is, i don't have any real experience (nothing beyond a simple hello world plus wandering around the activities/services/broadcasts/etc concepts) coding Android apps or even coding in Java, nor i have much time to learn the stuff.

Exactly. But, seemingly, tasker allows exporting it's scripts as standalone apps. That's the attached apk. Hence, installing this apk, without tasker, as a normal app, may work as well. Note that i've never tested this, so you will probably be the first
