No he didn't. He said it won't boot, there's a big difference between "won't boot" and can't get into recovery.

Ok. I just have try it now.
But the problem is when odin restart, the tab don´t boot. The screen is off and in a few minutes, odin says PASS.
The tab only run if I put on a wall charger. Then appears Samsung logo again and again.
Thanks for all Ripshock

[Q] At&T Galaxy Note 2 stuck after root

Hi... I have an At&t Galaxy Note 2, I rooted it w Odin, It worked fine then I flashed a custom ROM and I guess it may not have been the right one and it would turn off every few minutes, I would turn it back on and it would just continue to turn off so I tried flashing a different ROM and that was it. It won't boot past the 'Samsung Galaxy Note ll" screen.. It just stays stuck there...
I looked on forums and tried different things suggested with no success...
I have tried flashing stock back with Odin but it stops at the 'Recovery' part in Odin and I've left it there for a good while but it doesn't go any further... I tried going through Kies and updating firmware and it goes through the process and it just sits there and doesn't re boot or anything...
Can anyone help? I would greatly appreciate any help...I am so stuck...
Thanks in advance.

If I hold vol down, power and home.. I can get into Odin/downloadin mode..
Vol up, power and home.. I can get into "Android System Recovery <3e>".. has the menu in blue but under the menu in red is
"E:Can't mount/cache/recover/command
E:failed to mount/efs (Invalid argument)
E:failed to mount/system (Invalid arguement)....
and so on..
not sure if that is relevant or not..

[Q] HELP, I Soft Bricked my SIII (I747M)

Hey guys i'm new to the forums and looking for some help.
I've rooted my S3 succesfully and installed CWM as well as flashed the updates for it, but after flashing the CM 10.1 ROM i cant't seem to get passed the CM logo, the screen just stays black. I've been looking through the forums and managed to find some stock ROMs but for some reason Odin(3.0.7) keeps giving me a fail message every time I try to do it.
Please help me I would just like to start from scratch and give it another go, is there any sort of guide to just reset everything either using Odin or from recovery?
Thanks

I've tried flashing a few stock roms and they all fail using odin, am I doing something wrong? And i can't flash from recovery because ic ant access internal storage while its stuck at logo.
To use Odin:
Usb in the back of computer (#1 on a laptop)
Reboot computer
Phone in download mode (volume down+ home+ power)
Run Odin as administrator
Use a known good cable
After flashing back to stock, when you get hung up on boot:
Pull battery, wait 2 minutes, reinsert
Boot into recovery with button combo, factory reset, reboot.

When I try this it just reboots back into CM logo and again at the black screen, I am wiping all caches and formatting every directory.
I made some major edits, check those out

Are they in the .tar format ? You can't flash .zip ones in Odin. You can get them from the no tripping flash counter root method

I've restarted and ran as admin, tried multiple ports and still getting the fail message when I click start on Odin with my md5 file under the PDA slot, could it be a bad file?
And you have to extract the file one time after downloaded.
Maybe try using Odin v1.85?

My suggestion is do a super wipe I.e. format internal sd,system preload cache data..
Now flash stock rom using odin and let it boot for 10-15mins..if it still doesn't boota, flash philZ recovery from odin and do a factory reset. If you do this it will surely fix the problem. And yes, this isn't a sds case! So cheers..
