Disable increasing ring on rooted GB rom - Samsung Galaxy W I8150

Hi, I have a GB rooted ROM, and I want to disable the annoying increasing ring, but I don't want to use the "Disable increasing ring" by Shumoapp. Is there any modded Phone.apk? Or something to solve this issue? Thanks

[Q] Ringtone Synergy Ringtone Issues

I just installed Synergy. I rather like the sense 3.0 rom. Something weird tho, I changed my ringtone from the default one as well as the notification tone. Every time it rings it plays a different tone than the one one its set to ring. Also while I'm asking Noob questions, does the stock synergy rom kernel support underclocking?
How did you change the ringtone? As you may not know, you need to change the ringtone you want for notifications in the app you want to use. I.e. if you want to change the text ringtone, you need to set it in the text app itself, not through the android settings.
And for your second question, yes, you can underclock without a special kernal. I'm running Synergy RC2 and can underclock with SetCPU. You just need a special kernal to overclock, not underclock.
ah thank you. changing in the app itself did the trick!

Disable increasing ring

Is there a way to turn off the increasing ringtone without root when someone calls you.
Yes Install a custom rom!

I guess u missed the part where it said without root.
Open the dialer app press menu - call settings - uncheck increase volume in pocket

you don't need a custom ROM, but you need root. you replace the dialer apk with a non-increasing apk. it's in the dev forum

Volume in pocket does not fix this issue. You have to use a mod/rom that requires root.

Silent notifications but not ringtone?

Hello,
just got my HTC One V late last night, set everything up to how I wanted it (Still on stock ROM, not touching CWM or root or any custom ROMs until I'm comfortable with the device), I'm new to Sense so it's a bit different obviously. I was wondering if it's possible to mute notification sounds but not mute the ringtone as far as I can tell their linked under the 'Sound' menu so am I looking for an option that doesn't exist or am i just blind?
Thanks.

[Q] Quick Controls in 4.2.2

Is everybody using a 4.2 rom experiencing this bug with quick controls on stock browser? I'd perfer not to disable app accessibility as a fix to this bug.

I'm trying to make the switch to 4.2, but I am a frequent user of quick controls and light flow which requires accessibility to function properly.
Bump!

Disable priority notification from lollipop?

I upgraded to the OTA lollipop update for my m8. Everything feels fast and smooth but what is up with the notifications from hell? The notification preview that drops down from the top bar (I believe lollipop calls them priority notifications) is convenient during regular use of the phone but is annoying as hell when I'm playing a full screen game or watching a movie. I can't find any settings to configure this feature. I don't want to disable all notifications for the messaging apps, I just want to either disable the feature or disable it when a specific app is running. I think we're missing the options for priority notifications that stock lollipop comes with. Anyone know?
I don't see the notifications that come from the top. U use gpe?
