LED Notifications inop - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III

I bought this S3 used off Ebay and right away rooted and flashed TPR. Works great. Just realized that the LED notifications don't work when the phone is on. If it is off and charging it shines red until charged then green and blue when rebooting but if th phone is on the LED doesn't light ever. I do have everything check marked in Display/Led and I flashed back to stock and still the same. I redownloaded the ROM and still the same. Also in case it matters with debugging on or off when I plug it into my PC to charge at work Auto play pops up which I don't remember happening on my Epic 4G I came from. Any thoughts or do I have to live with it?
Thanks in advance

I assume no replies means I get to live with it but I will bump it once just for giggles and see what happens
Thanks

Just a note to say that it is fixed it in case anyone else has the problem...I had gone back to stock by flashing the return to stock rom but it still persisted. I used Odin to return to stock and it still persisted. I had a problem with the proximity sensor that I had replaced and then the notifications worked properly. I am told that LED notification light and proximity sensor are 2 completely different circuits but that is the timeline of it working.

Notification LED broken?!

I got my Desire some weeks ago with the Stock image and everything seemed to work good. Then i flashed CM7 Nightly and the LED was still working on charging and notifications.
From one day to another the LED stopped working. I tried to change images (Redux, Ginger Villian, Leedroid) but never got it working again. Also i tried different apps which can enable the LED - still no success, not even when charging.
Could it really be that the LEDs break on the same moment? Any ideas on what i could try?
Everything else on the phone works as designed.
Thanks guys.

Green LED notification light won't turn off.

I wen't for a run with my incredible, which I have done many many times, and when I got back the Green notification light was on. I think some sweat must have found its way into the phone. Is there an app or anything I can do to get this notification light turned off. I don't need the light, I turn it off on all the applications that use the light. I'm rooted running CM7, I changed kernals and loaded Sky Raider to see if that would fix it, to no avail. The light comes on almost instantly after pushing the power button on a reboot. Looking for some input before I go talk to verizon. I'm due for an upgrade in June, so I can wait it out if I need to.
Thanks
Do you have a nandroid of your stock setup? If you do, install that backup and see if that works.
Sent from my Incredible using XDA App
Its been so long since i have been stock. Thats why i flashed another Rom/Kernal. I think its the phone, not the ROM.

[Q] HTC Evo with CM7.2, Pictures with flash turned on has blue tint? [Solved]

I checked settings and I set them back to default, still nothing. I haven't really dropped the phone to the point of it causing damage, Checked the lenses, and LED flash on the phone seems to be working fine. I turn on the flash as a flashlight, it seems to be normal and white. The thing is when I take a picture with flash set On or Automatic the picture ends up having a blue/aqua tint to it. I can't seen to figure it out. I have my HTC Evo rooted and flashed with CM7.2, it did this with CM7 also it used to work just fine but randomly started to happen. Any ideas? Sucks cause I use my phone to take pictures to list items on eBay and now I am screwed.
*edit* Ended up reflashing my phone and it fixed it. Thanks anyways

[Q] Galaxy Note 2 Black screen after cyanogenmod

Hi,
I installed the cyanogenmod 11 nightly like a week ago on my galaxy note 2 and all was running perfectly until this morning.
When I woke up this morning the phone screen was black. The phone is actually working, I can hear emails notifications, phone ringing etc.
The buttons light up when i press them. When I connect it to the PC I can browse the phone contents etc. All seems to function except the screen.
The battery is charged. I tried to remove the battery for a long time and try again but still nothing.
I can't get into recovery or download mode as the screen is blank (sometimes there is a like a weird area at the top where there are like different colored pixels present). I know people will say the screen might be damaged but last night before I went to bed it was all fine, the phone was placed on the table, and this morning when I picked it up screen is blank.
I want to flash back the stock firmware. However I can't get into download mode in order to use Odin. Is there any other way to get into download mode or hardware reset the phone?
Any suggestions are welcomed.
EDIT: The touch screen also seems to work when I touch it as I can for example call numbers for which I had speeddial scortcuts but it is still completely blank.
I think this is hardware issue. You must replace the screen

Yeah I think so too. I've sent it to Samsung.
It was rooted and had cyanogenmode so probably I have no warranty
However I managed to install stock ROM so hopefully they won't (can't) notice.

SPH-l710T phone will not turn on anymore

Hello friends. recently my galaxy S3 stopped working while it was charging one day. here is what happend when it suddenly stopped working . I picked it up to send a message to a friend on facebook, after that i tossed my phone down on my pillow and i went back to doing what i was doing. about an hour or so went by and i decided to check my phone again to see if my friend replied. it was then i noticed that the phone was off for some reason. i thought that was kind of weird and just figured maybe it glitched out and just turned itself off or something. i attempted to turn the phone on and it did not respond, but for some reason when i shake the phone or something it would turn on. when its plugged into the charger it doesnt show the charging screen either. occasionally the red light at the top left corner of the device will light up like its charging but then it will turn off again and when it does turn on randomly it doesn't go past the samsung S3 screen when it is booting up. The phone is currently rooted as well but i dont think that has anything to do with my current issue. i just took the phone apart right now to check the motherboard to see if anything was wrong with it or maybe it was dirty ect and when i put the phone back together i actually got it to charge for a moment but i couldn't get it to turn on. ive looked up some videos on youtube about this issue but i couldn't find any info really about it.
so to be clear these are the things i have tried
1. tried to boot it into download mode and recovery mode with no luck.
2. checked to see if it was a hardware issue and everything looked ok.
3. swapped batteries still with no luck.
i dug a little deeper after posting this thread and found out my issue could be what is called SDS (sudden death syndrome) the one thing i didnt find out is if im completely screwed and need a new phone or not. i took it down to my local samsung store here in L.A. and they already turned me down because the phone was rooted and they could tell it was because my phone has a different bootup then normal.
so if anyone could help me out that would be awesome and i would be super grateful. thanks in advance
