Hi,
does anybody know, where the memory 16 or 32GB is located ?
I'm thinking to upgrade to 32GB by changing the mainboard ...

Well if you're changing the board anyway why do you need to know where on the board the storage is? Its irrelevant.
Hi,
I bought over ebay a note2 with 32GB and cracked screen for using mainboard.
Android says it has just 16GB, want to compare with my16GB mainboard.
Looking also for original 32GB Mainboard to buy.

just want some opinions on what memory card suits best for our phone..
it just came to my mind that because our phone was made by Samsung then maybe a Samsung memory card can be a good choice? here it is in amazon
http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-MicroSDHC-Komputerbay-Adapter-MobileMate/dp/B00768ZS4W/ref=pd_rhf_dp_shvl1
somehow maybe some of you could advice some more good options and oh if you dont mind guys can you tell your experience on the memory card you currently using right now thanks.
I've been using a Class 10 Samsung Memory Card for 6 months and don't have any problem.
Other good options would be Kingston and Sandisk.
using 32gb class 10 a-data micro sdhc without any problems

how much are those? ill try to search for those kinds of mmc's here in the philippines.. it sucks that purchasing something from amazon and eBay are hard here in the philippines. thanks for the responses
also are you guys using the Quickpic as default gallery? i do use it and sometimes the pictures with high resolution and byte loads slowly, do you experience it on that kind of memory cards? i believe that its because im using a 2gb class 4 only.
I bought my sd card on ebay for 28 €
Hi there,

so expensiveeee!!! try to download series or anime's its worth the space how about the gallery loading? does it displays "Loading..."? or not?
Try using a class 6 SanDisk memcard about 2k+ php for the 32gb, about 1k+ for the 16gb. If u want a class 10 32gb would be about 3k-4k last time i checked. Bought mine in rob mnila.

Yeah, not the cheapest one.
But I wanted more space than my old MP3 player had. And no, there is no "loading..." when I open the gallery and I have around 1500 pictures on the SD. (100Kb per file)

maybe, but not so sure, coz if you format a Personal Computer it eats some part of its space like if your memory = 3gb it will be 2.89gb, if you format it again then another deduction, i think the same applies to sd card also, but as i said im not sure, its just an opinion.

Hi I just had a thought that can the 16gb internal memory can be increased to 32gb or more. After all its a hardware. So can the memory be replaced by a higher capacity memory chip? Any computer engineers around pls share ur thoughts on this.

well if you good with a soldering iron and can remove the chip without damaging the board then sure.....go for it

you would have to solder the chip off and resolder a new chip that fits exactly where the old one did.
(basically the answer is no, not easily)

exactly, you'd need a soldering Iron, exacto knife, and a chip by the same manufacturer and the same pin count and they need to be in the same positions
Oh so that means it will totally ruin my phone.. I didn't knew soldering iron and all other stuff would be needed. I'll be happy with my 16 GB

its not a like a desktop where the RAM is chips that you can insert into a slot. Stuff in a phone is soldered on the motherboard and is 1 entire piece. Radios, RAM, CPU, everything is hard connected to the board.
an alternative would be using a usb otg cable to connect a sd card.
Go get the seagate goflex

engineer here, my advice:
don't try it
Use dropbox, google drive, etc if you need more storage space. If it's really an issue, you shouldn't have gotten a Nexus.

They don't make a GSM 16gb Galaxy Nexus? The CDMA version is 32gb.
If you were ambitious, you could try to find a tear down of the CDMA Nexus and find the 32gb part and source it. Then, find a way to remove the 16gb part and solder the 32gb part back on.
If it's anything like the ns4g, the memory just pops off. No soldering needed. It looks just like a little mini board and has almost same kind of pluggies like a computer.

The wildfire recognizes 64gb microsd? I have seen that officially recognizes only 32gb but also other mobile phone models indicate so and some users have tried microsd 64gb and were supported. Someone has tried?
thank you very much
I've heard that it can, but I have never owned a card that big to test with :/

I would like to be sure because I'll buy a card on ebay. Its price is 10 euros, if I buy another would be throwing money.
hopefully another user will be able to wager in here, i believe that htc state that it can only handle 32gb. I wouldn't buy one unless i was sure as well unless i could use it with another bit of tech of mine if it didnt work out :/
Which micro sd card is best for i9300. I never had micro card and dont know anything about this. Im gonna use it mostly for programs and some games and roms.

For cost and reliability I would stick to 32gb or less. You can buy 2 x 32 gb for less than one 64 gb , you won;t run into format issues.

You asked what will work reliably. When you go above 32 Gb the format has to change. Some ROMs will work some will not.
SD cards do not last forever. whatever you store on one, make sure its is always backed up. I prefer to go with 32 Gb , they will work with any ROM and when it does fail, its cheap to replace it.

But cards are still from 2011/12
But on the last page I found uk link to the card which i "choose".
But now what should i choose sd sdhc or sdxc or not matter ?
For now i have 2x http://goo.gl/gVZiHe on a amazon card. Waiting for last answer ans ill buy
Realize its with adapter so i have to find one without adapter bcs i dont need 2x adapter
So i choose
http://goo.gl/cLlvrC
http://goo.gl/CG4DUx with adapter
Its good choose ?
Grab this:
SanDisk Ultra 64 GB microSDXC Class 10 UHS-1 Memory Card 30MB/s with Adapter SDSDQU-064G-AFFP-A
Double capacity for a similar price and works perfectly on the S3. I should know.. I have one.
