Wildfire supports 64Gb microsd? - Wildfire Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

The wildfire recognizes 64gb microsd? I have seen that officially recognizes only 32gb but also other mobile phone models indicate so and some users have tried microsd 64gb and were supported. Someone has tried?
thank you very much

I've heard that it can, but I have never owned a card that big to test with :/

I would like to be sure because I'll buy a card on ebay. Its price is 10 euros, if I buy another would be throwing money.

hopefully another user will be able to wager in here, i believe that htc state that it can only handle 32gb. I wouldn't buy one unless i was sure as well unless i could use it with another bit of tech of mine if it didnt work out :/

I know that the mytouch 4g is able to support up to a 32gb microSD card (just ordered one from newegg.com), so perhaps checking with the manufacturer or the carrier to find out the maximum size microsd your card can support.

it's nothing to do with carrier but you can find the limit it supports in the manufacturers specs, however it is not always like that... as the limitation for HTC universal was 2 gb and with great devs here we were able to use card up to 16gb... so ask fellow XDAINS than the manufacturers... and since your device is pretty new model you should be able 32 gb....
Said there are 32gb sd card, but I got one 16 micro sd card.

Use an 32GB Class 2 SanDisk for my Android HD2. Can't argue (for Class 2): 6MB Write, 15 MB Read.
2TB is the biggest ive seen!

sandisk class 2/4 cards are under rated. trust me they perform above and beyond, even better than a lot of class 6 cards.

Bahaha, or they shoved the sd card in the sim slot and now they're not getting 3G/4G signal. "You mean it's not a dual slot? But all the new phones have a dual slot. The Galaxy Nexus is so outdated! Why didn't they include it? Google and Samsung are stupid."

I don't see a problem. Buy a USB OTG/host-cable and then a USB memory-card reader and then put micro-SD into the a adapter into the reader and it just works.
At least it doesn't require iTunes anywhere in the chain

64gb micro sd card in the one v

Tried a SanDisk 64GB Micro SDXC card in my gf's One V today.
Had to format it on the phone, but after that seems to work just fine.
I thought the android OS only supported up to 32GB Micro SDHC, I'm not sure if it supports SDXC, but if it does, that would be the sweetest thing ever, more FLAC on this baby makes for a happy me
Was hoping it would. Looks promising. Thanks for your feedback

Theres no phones that officially suport the 64gb cards but lots of phones that actually seem to work ok with them. Including the sensation, the gs2 and galaxy note to name a few. I would have thought that as long as its been formatted it should work ok.

The 64GB SanDisk SDXC card, that I had been using on my HTC Wildfire S before works just fine.
Hey, does it matter if the MicroSD (8GB) is Class 4 or 10? I don't understand the difference but i better ask before i buy one.

I have class 2 and about 5mbps write and 20+ read....it isn't true...with a class 6 sdcard you will get 15mb write speed...

The class tells you what minimum write speed the manufacturer guarantees.
Most cards go a good deal above the value because the manufacturers play it safe.

I also wanted to confirm that my HTC One V (from Virgin Mobile) sees 59.5GB of a SanDisk Mobile Ultra microSDXC Class 6 Flash 64GB Memory Card. One of the reasons i switched to Android from the iPhone was the ability to store all of my music collection on my phone and this should be almost enough space.

Guys, counterfeit SD cards are rampant. So if the price is too good to be true, it certainly is.
The best way to be certain of the real deal is to find out the MSRP for the card and to not stray too far from it when buying online.
sdxc?
Is there any chance our phone supports micro SDXC? I noticed that SanDisk has a 64gb card out now and is planning on offering 128/256GB in the next year.

The Atrix will work with 64GB cards already, but you have to reformat it once it's installed before it can be used (the cards come preformatted with exFAT; the Atrix requires FAT32). Once you've done that, the 64GB is a dream come true, or so I've heard.

What is the internal storage on the T-Mobile HTC ONE M8 ?
I want this phone, only if it has 32gb of int storage. Refuse to buy any top of the line devices with only 16gb of int storage.

Still 32 GB internal storage is a must, there are lots of limitations with sd card. Let them sell the 16 GB but we need the 32 GB option as well. I believe other US carriers are selling 32 GB so TMobile should be same.

Exactly, todays OS take up almost 8gb of int storage so if you get 16 to start you end up with only 8gb of usable int storage. Once you start getting down to the bottom your phone just stops working like it should, laggy as hell. Nothing beats internal storage, sd-cards won't download most of todays apps, not only that todays modern smartphone needs a minimum of 32 with sd-card, without sd-card a minimum should be 64gb of int storage. To add internal storage during construction costs pennies. Quit making the -pathetic 16gb models, they are just crap IMO.

Thank You, just made my day.. Dying to get my hands on one. Any info on how strong the radios are on the new HTC One ? I have the Moto X, Samsung Note 3 and don't hate the iPhone 5S, out of all the iphone has the strongest radio signal. I heard the HTC also has a strong cellular radio, my last HTC was the Nexus One, still have it with all the accessories. I wouldn't mind a modern day Nexus One with modern day specs and a 4.7 inch scdreen. It must have the track ball as well.
Thanks again.
Vinny
I have the 32GB T-Mobile version as well. It started out with around 24GBs. I haven't added a microSD card to it as yet though.

Hard for me to say definitively at this point but it seems comparable so far to the M7 as far as the radio, which I think was quite good, but I don't have don't have much experience with other phones to really compare.

From all the leaked videos I have seen of the T-Mobile version and all other T-Mobile devices before this one they do not come with earbuds.
Now my questions are software related.
Do we have...

ART?
FM radio?

I had the T-Mobile s4 and it came with earbuds. Thats odd the m8 wouldn't have earbuds.
Z, Z1S, G2, G Flex, and I forgot which other devices I bought in the last 6 months didn't have headphones.
