Does LG Optimus G Pro has a counter because i need it for my warranty. I had CM10 and flashed to stock version.
dont think so
the bootloader didnt even unlocked
its bypass method so i think no
As far as I have seen this is mostly a "Samsung" feature. I'm not implicating that others are NOT using this feature or haven't begun to utilize it, however it was originally a Samsung drama bit. Newer phones from Samsung have become harder to change the counter back to "zero" because of enhanced security features they are beginning to place on their phones. I attempted to obtain the counter on the Optimus G Pro through "download/reset" mode but I haven't been able to find a such counter as seen on samsung phones like the picture below:

There is an application on the Play Store for $2.49 called Triangle Away. You can attempt to use that to check what the counter is currently reflecting but I can't make any guarantees.
I know for samsung has a counter. I made a USB Jig for it. But know for LG i didnt knew there isn't counter. Actually this is my friends phone and i konw quite a lot about samsung how to solve problems but i never had lg in my repairs.
Thanks
No counter on the OG Pro or the OG. Flash back to stock via tot and you'll be good to go.

So I rooted my phone - only to run app2sd type stuff, stayed on original rom.
I need to send it back under warranty, so I've 'unrooted' it, ran triangle away and flashed over a stock rom (even thought it was already stock) and this is what I now get on the download screen:

What do you think my chances of Samsung refusing to fix this as their policy is not to fix 'rooted' phones?
have u even tried to search over xda or in Google :silly::silly:
Try to flash stock recovery and use triangle away.

You need to root again, when everything is stock except root run triangle away to reset the counter and after this unroot. Triangle away needs root to work and also stock kernel and stock recovery

Thanks vagsvag and Manjunath324 :good:
I kept getting a flash counter of 1 and device unmodified or a counter of none and device modified
After lots of experimenting with different versions of odin and different versions of triangle away I've finally got it looking good!
I bought my n7 LTE in early December 2013. I'm running Sinless ROM on it. Today these spots showed up on the screen. What do you recommend? Warranty with Google or ASUS or try another ROM first to see if it goes away? Crap, tried to show a screenshot but the spots dont show. I'll see if I can get a pic from my phone of it.

The pink dots are not reflection from background light. Any ideas?
I decided to RMA with Google. Cant live with these dots. Maybe the replacement will not have the touch issue im experiencing on this device. I will say, never another ASUS for me. Hopefully, Google goes with Samsung for another nexus device. Never had any problems with any Samsung device.
You will get a replace. All manufacturers have problems. Samsung had always bad batteries in my experience. The only one I didn't had problems with was HTC but their update policy is terrible. I think I will stick with Google devices no matter what manufacturer is.

In this case, it was clearly a hardware issue as the issue was persisting on the boot logo. Next time you have a concern though, definitely try a different ROM first. Eliminate all possible causes before sending it in for repair, or you'll be stuck waiting for the RMA process.
My new phone finally came and unfortunately it has 4.3 on it. However, I can't find the KNOX app. I can see it in device administrators but it's grayed out. like I said before there is no KNOX application anywhere on my phone either. I was reading that this was a problem on ATT's Note 3. Is there anyway to fix it? I wanted to mess around a little but before I rooted.

Yea I found that but I was wondering if there was and apk or something so I could mess around with it for a bit.
So I tried to do a root on my LG Gpad 7.0 and well I don't know what happened
this is my first time trying this so I used "KingRoot"
Now I am having a weird display issue were if the tablet is in portrait I can't see Jack but if I set it to Landscape I can see only 25ish % of my screen
Any Ideas? please

Save me from android 9!
so i've been using a S10+ that i got from a seller on amazon that said it was an unlocked At&T display model and i got it working on metro over a year ago and been working great since. Problem being i've never been able to get OTA updates and i really want to get to android 10. Now when i connect the phone to Smart Switch on windows i get -
" you device software is up to date (SD3 ATT)"
and then above its on android 9 version 9.0.0...
Model for the phone is a SM-G975U
I havent used Odin in almost a decade it feels like (Galaxy S3 custom Rom) and i'd like anyone to point me to the proper method and possibly a source of where i need to get the proper install files for android 10 for Metro PCS. Can't find much if anything anywhere besides XDA forums being of any help.
any guide or tutorial and links for what i need to do would be a life savers please thank you in advance will be checking on this thread daily
Check Samfirm.com I think it is and this thread out:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/s10-plus/how-to/g975u-g975u1-firmware-links-t3905897
You will need the patched version of Odin to flash any firmware too.
