So I tried to do a root on my LG Gpad 7.0 and well I don't know what happened
this is my first time trying this so I used "KingRoot"
Now I am having a weird display issue were if the tablet is in portrait I can't see Jack but if I set it to Landscape I can see only 25ish % of my screen
Any Ideas? please
P.S. before coming here I tried using ADB and I also unrooted (I think) my tablet

A relative has recently given me there Note 10.1 2014 LTE (Model number: p605) which is currently encountering some issues, in the hope that I will sort it out for them. The issues are all to do with the WiFi.
The device has absolutely no modifications, and running the stock ROM. Here is a screenshot from the "About" section:

The problem is that WiFi sometimes refuses to turn on. You slide the toggle, and then it just turns grey:
After a minute or so, it will then return to the off state. The funny thing is, rebooting the tablet will temporarily fix the issue, allowing WiFi to be turned on again. However, once idling for a few hours, the issue will return.
My relative says that this issue never happened on JB, but only started happening once upgrading to KK. So my question is: have any other p605 owners experienced this? If so, how did they fix it? If nobody has experienced this, could anybody recommend a good way to fix this? I was thinking about a factory reset, but this should be a last resort, as they really don't want to loose all of there data!
Thanks for the help!

My gpad the wifi version running Android 4.4.2 got problem in retaining battery. It drains about 4 to 5 percents of the battery when the pad is in idle for about 10 hours. The pad is new so i don't think is the app i downloaded that is causing the problems. It must be something have to do with the manufacturer. Are you folks having the same problems? May be i need to flush it and reload the android to get away the apps installed by the manufacturer. Any ideas? Thanks.
Sound better than average to me (I've had quite a few tablets&phones ... but only have this GTab for 2 days).
that is actually quite good, mine use to lose 10+%.got it to only lose about 2-3% by using clean master.just kill everything when i go sleep.give it a go.
Thanks will give it a try. There are just too much possibilities here. Need an expert to figure it out.
Download App Ops Starter from playstore. Look for apps that keep your tablet from going to sleep and turn off that setting. Also you can turn off their ability to spy on you.

Sorry if this has been mentioned already......
I have been rooted for the last few months now through Purple Drake lite. I have CWM as well as as having the Update-SuperSU-V1.94.
Everything has been working well until i switched to ART. It broke root and messed up all the apps. Tried to factory reset and try and root again but the same thing keeps happening. When i try rootchecker, it says there is no root, but when i check stumproot, it says the phone is rooted. But the weird thing is, You can tell some of the apps that need root work, but others won't work which is really weird.
I can't boot into recovery. This pops up:

Anyone familiar with this?
Thanks

Somehow the CWM file got corrupted and would not delete through factory reset. So all i did was move it through a file manager and place it on my sd card and delete it from there. Then it let me delete it. Pretty weird..
Hello everybody updated my phone to Lollipop (zip) with root. I have problem with XWidget app, whenever I open it appears these message:

But I'm on kitkat (4.4.4)
I test with my Nexus 5 and I also have the same problem. Probably a problem with the application ...
I don't think the issue is specific to Lollipop. I am on 4.4.2 KITKat and get the same error. Only way around (that I could find) is to use the PC X-widget application to push the widget from PC to your phone. I know it's pain in the a*s but for the time being, that's the only way to get your beloved widget(s) on the phone
I think this is the server down. it is works fine now.
Hi,
story first, problem below: I crashed (a while ago) the display of my Nexus 4. I changed it with some cheap chinese crap (that was offered as original, but well, China ) ... and the Nexus was stuck in endless bootloop. First I thought I did flash it wrong or did a mistake changing the display. After hours of looking for clues I gave up. Recently I found some idiot-proof flashing tool (SkipSoft) and tried it again with the oldest factory image available: occam 4.2.2 (JDQ39).
The Nexus did not only boot, but boot up faster than my none damaged Nexus 4. Ok, the display was in comparison like scaled to 90 %, but no real problem. I was kinda happy and tried to flash CM or the latest (5.1.1.) factory image available. And again, there way my problem. I did flash every factory image, except 4.2.2, and same sh**. Flashed 4.2.2. (again) - no problem at all. I did the auto upgrade to 4.3 - endless bootloop again.
Did anybody had this problem before? I think it's a driver issue, since it works with 4.2.2. but no later images. But is it Androids fault (display driver switch between 4.2.2. to 4.3)?
Btw.: pic of the original and the "oliginal" display:
