It depends on what kernel you want to use (sense kernel/Aosp etc.)
I suggest to read through the kernel threads in the desire android developent section.
For me coutt's sense kernel is working fast.
I need a sense kernel

Which non-stock* Rom is the most stable???(including battery)
Android Revolution but also Maximus is also a great contender as I am currently using it
I highly recommend these roms especially if you want Apex or nova launch and use Rom Cleaner, works a treat and then gives even better battery
Personal Favorite:
Android Revolution HD with Extended Quick Settings and then Nova Launcher from rom cleaner
Viper rom works for me, no strange issues ... never had the urge to try another rom.

Which ever is stable for you, try and test them and gain experience from them.
All current sense based roms work well. Non sense based such as CMX etc work but not as good as a sense based rom due to closed drivers and such.

One X daily use Rom

Hi,
My One X is showing some strange lag issues in some Games. The weather animation is lagging too.
So iam now searching for a ROM, which is running stable and smooth. If possible jelly bean with sense is preferred.
Do you have some suggestions which ROM is the best in my case?
Thank you

ARHD is a nice sense based rom, and it has pretty much stable battery life. Insertcoin is also a nice stable and smooth rom with good battery life.

Camara quality for stock and any custom rom for htc one x

I want to know the difrerence between the camara quality between stock android and any custom roms
Htc uses image chip for its one series
Does any custom rom uses the image chip for it , does the camara qulity difrers from the stock?
I am die hard fan of htc camara and using htc one x , i want to root and install any custom rom like cynogen mod rom
But before doing that i wanna know the difference in camara quality
Plz help

Custom ROMs with HTC Sense use the chip and have good camera quality, even better than stock.
AOSP ROMs do not use Sense camera app nor the imagesense chip. Therefore they have a tad lower camera quality.
Can u suggest any one name of custom roms with aosp
I am new to root and roms so
Thnx for help

As i am newbee so i am asking this...

I'm using IceColdJelly at the moment. You should really read and try them out yourself, that way you'll find the one you like.
Thnx a lot for helping

At this moment the best is MagioRom v3.1 with alex kernel 2.6 PA2, this mix have a great battery and awesome stability and no one lag.
Then, i have to say that all of the roms for this devices are very similar, so you can flash the rom what you want. You can test 3 differents roms and take the best, maximus, magiorom, arhd, project, skydragon sd rom... They are all very similar.
In my opinion for me and at this moment magio is the best because it had been updated so days before!

yea magio 3.1 and alex-v 2.6 pa2 in this combination is the best...but i would say try them out and then look which is the best for you...with magiorom 3.1 and alex-v 2.6 pa2 kernel i can reach 6, if not even 7 hours onscreen time...with little to no gaming ...really great
