I have a first generation xoom with Verizon radio. Running teameos 4.2.2 And this are running slow. Things take a second or two after touching them.
Looking for a recommendation on roms.
Also, wondering do I have wingray or stingray and does it matter if not using vzw data and wireless only?
Thanks all.

this didn't belong here.
to answer your question, you have a stingray. if you're not worried about mobile data, you can run wingray roms just fine.

So I flashed the new gummy bear rom and love it.
On top of it I chose Franco Kernel & 4.0.4 Hybrid Radios , i was not paying attention if before flashing 4.0.4 radios the signal bar were grey but how come i get internet with grey signal and wi fi bars?
I really dont want to re-flash another time i've done it today at least 5 times setting up all the widgets and stuff is annoying -_-
I would understand the 4G part if there was some maintance.. but Wi Fi as well?
take a look at attachments
My guess, your not properly connected to googles servers

Not sure if it matters but did you flash the toro or maguro version of gummy 8.1? Last time I checked he had the wrong one linked in his thread. Here is the toro version

I did flash Toro however I found out what was causing the issue.
I had to reflash 3 times in order to know what happened.
1) Titanium back-up restore caused it
2) 4.0.4 radios
hopefully the 4.0.3 radios aren't that bad...
That's odd. I had that problem but that's because I flashed the GSM version. I'm using the hybrid 4.0.4/4.0.3 radios and they work just fine.

Since i flashed 4.2 and now 4.2.1, ive been constantly losing signal during calls. Does any1 know how to fix this, guessing it something to do with the radio.
Are you using the latest radio? GSM or CDMA?
its GSM, baseband 19250XXKK1, guessing this is not the latest 1.

On the VZW Gnex, I have the latest radios and have tried the linaro AOKP nightly from last night and the night before as well as the cm nighty from both nights and experience a loss in data even after fiddling with settings the change it off of wcdma. If I get data at all its 3g when on codename androids 3.8.0, I have 4g. Any advice would really be great. I love the feel of 4.2 roms but cannot live without my 4g

After a little messing around, I ended up going back to stock rooted rom (4.1.1) and wiped data and reflashed the aokp nightly and haven't had a problem with signal in 12 hours. Flashed then latest lean kernel and I'm loving it

Is A2DP working?

This is not needed, the nightly thread is is still up. A2dp is reported to still be broken on other threads.

It may not be needed by your standards. But I did not know it existed and wanted to enlighten those under the same circumstances as myself. If you are aware this available, Please disregard and move on.
Thanks for this man.
Yea do we really need to keep all CM10.X builds in one post? Shouldn't 10.1 be considered a new thing?
We went through this before when cm10.1 first came out people created new threads and they ended up getting closed. There's a thread in general about the m1 release. This thread will likely be closed.

Always liked the CM roms!!! Unfortunately, with this rom there is no option to enable wi-fi calling. I have no choice but to go back to stock.
(unless of course I might have missed something?)
Hello all.
My question is, how soon until us toroplus users see the new 4.2.2 radio(s)? I'm guessing we'll get it when the actual OTA for the Toroplus drops, am I right? I know it seems like an impatient question, however.. I'm asking out of sheer curiosity.
Thanks all, and feel free to discuss stuff about 4.2.2. :good:

Just wondering if anyone has already been using the latest CM nightlies?
If so, are they mostly workable or should we wait for a stable release before trusting it for daily use?
back on my S3 I was on CM (including nightlies) from an early point but that phone at least had official status, where our Note 3 does not seem to yet...
Thanks!
This phone has had official nightlies for a while

I know it has nightlies, as I said.
If you look on their website under Devices, it is not listed yet.
Anyway, have you tried them recently?

All the the lte models use the same unified builds. they don't make builds for each separate model anymore

Sorry I was mistaken and apparently not very clear.
Have you tried the recent nightlies or not? and if so, are you therefore able to offer any helpful answer to my original post question? To be specific, I am wanting to know if the recent HLTE nightlies are relatively stable yet, if all the typically-needed functions of an Android smartphone are working, and if the battery life is within generally-acceptable limits (IE somewhat near at least factory life between needing a recharge). Hopefully that clears up the confusion.
-side note, I meant there is no sub-forum for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 yet at http://forum.cyanogenmod.com/
Seemingly there are sub-forums for Samsung's previous devices, however.

Just because there isn't a sub-forum doesn't mean anything bro. Yes they're stable, have been for a good while now. Not hard to find out, use the search button. I'm on the latest nightly and it runs fine.

I noticed camera quirks and had Chrome cast issues. Went back to a TV ROM. It's usable for the most part though.
No camera quirks on latest 05/26 build, and using AllCast for my DLNA playback via TV WiFi, works great
Thanks guys. I have been using a nightly from last week for a few days and it's pretty stable! A few random reboots and I can't seem to get nfc to work but other than that it's great
