Yeah u read the title right... I never used benchmarks...flashed flyon+vulpix. Awesome combo.... So Today downloaded antutu to see score and after downloading 9mb app it says -
SUPPORTS ONLY ARMV7 devices....
Wth... People don't download it and waste ur data pack :-\ (wifi users don't waste time downloading )
this was done many months before!!!!
You can use Antutu 3.4 for checking the benchmark score for your phone. Antutu is not supported for armv6 devices after version 4

What have you guys found to be the best benchmark for comparing results of changes you may make to settings, roms, overclocking, etc. I know some have beef with quadrant but that's all I was familiar with.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
I haven't looked around for a new benchmark but after quadrant scored my gnex a little under the n1 I deleted it and will never use it again.
I've heard a lot of people say there are problems with quadrant and it doesn't give true scores but I just now realized how off it can be sometimes!
Quadrant is severely outdated.
I would use the benchmarking programs that Anandtech uses here: http://www.anandtech.com/show/5198/motorola-droid-razr-review-a-better-clad-bionic/8

These look like recreated charts to represent multiple benchmarking tools. Is there just one or two standards anyone recommends?

GLBenchmark, Vellamo, and Linpack are all available on the market, try those.
I've also had some luck with Smartbench 2011, which will use multiple cores.
There's pass mark too.

I recently started using AnTuTu. I like that it shows your results in comparison to others and you get specific scores for each area tested.

hey guys m a noob i have in this roooting process for like just a few months and have changed around dozen roms.i currently on cm7.2 latest verison and my fone crashes around 5-6 times a day.i am using cm7 performance tuning as cpu 729-729(performance) compcache 26% vm heap is 64.in order to speed up the device i have installed sd speed increase on 3072kb but no results.my fone has around 60apps of which 55 are on internal memory while 5 on sd card i used mtd partion and partions were as system 130mb,cache 20mb,and internal 315mb.my fone lags like anything i was using adw launcher the other time but it crashed every 5times
now i am using go launcher and it is atleast not crashing now but it is very using as if i m using 512mhz processor.the games are also very slow ninjump is very annoying on the device.i surfed the internet for qvga temple run but it force closed and so with other games like nfs shift(not responding) and gangstar west cost (unresponsive)
did i rooted it wrong should i root over again?
also i flashed ruu and then also flashed cm7 but still its laging.
using the stock kernel of cm7
please help ASAP
Dissemble your phone ,cut your processor into 4 pieces and you will have a quad core.It will then become super fast like a leopard.

This is nothing to do with rooting. You should know that wildfire doesnt have a gpu in it so the games dont run as they are suppose to be running. So overclocking doesnt do any significant good to its performance.
I see that you are running it at 729/729 which according to me is too much because the device heats up quite a lot with these settings and also leading to craches. Try atleast lowering the lower value. I personally use 691/352 with smarassv2 and it doesnt give me much lags with the scripts I use. Mind you I use adw launcher with all the animations enabled.

i know wildfire doesnt comes with a gpu but ninjump should work flawless with overclocked processore my fone doesnt gets heated even on 729 if i use if for more than 6hours in straight and by temple run and gangsta i meant those games were mend to be compatible for a arm v6 processor still they arnt working even if i try everything with chainfire 3d
Yes they are compatible with armv6 processor thats why you are able to run them. But mind you games need graphic processing. Slow processor without gpu (graphic processing unit) can not do all the processing by itself.
Still there are many scripts available here on xda which can improve the performance of our device. You can try those and see if they help you.
:banghead: and then with some rolleyes.
using my thanks as likes
Just because you can't feel the heat doesn't mean it's not there before the phone gives in, every cpu has a different tolerance level.
Drop your cpu speed and it should stop the rebooting, I've heard of people that can't go above 691 before too.
As for the games its been said before many times, no gpu=no good graphical games, this cpu can't handle it. If you want a good phone that can don't buy bottom of range phones that have been out for years.

I have searched a lot but only wat I could do was to increase performance a little and that too unstable if you can be so kind to give me links of the scripts you are talking about I would be thanful to you.also you said games are compatible for arm v6 but temple run v6 verison doesn't opens in my fone it just force closes everytime I try to open it while I have seen many galaxy y users run temple run.I am not complaining about the performance(no gpu) but atleast they run do you have a solution?

if you dont want to help its ok but dont unnessarily demotivate people who want to make something of their phone or who want to learn something.if wildfire is an outdated fone i am amazed why there was an unofficial cm9 port for it or an muni v4 port.for some people the fones do matter :/

First of all read my post correctly, I gave you advice on how to stop the random reboots? How is that not being helpful?
Secondly it doesn't matter if they are compatible with armv6 they use a more advanced graphics engine which will just not work for us. I'm also guessing that a galaxy y has a gpu?? (correct me if I'm wrong).
As for your your other comment, the sun is shining today and I'm in a good mood so I won't bite!

Some were causing errors which I noticed in the logcat. It also contains a script to disable logcat so I removed it too.. You can say that I customized it to my style.
Ps. Dont ask me to make a zip for you as I dont have a working laptop.

First of all drop ur processor frequency because it is not supercomputer.use scratch post value, they r best for wildfire...
For games its just like running mass effect 3 on Pentium 3 with no nvidia or amd....
Thirdly don't be rude to other members because u r noob and scratch is a senior member and bro scratch helped me alot while I was rooting....
What u had done to your phone,I can only pray for it,even HTC will also not accept it,they will donate to nokia....

Since I was as always keep flashing an testing all rom and kernels over here from 2 years ago, I noticed that I didn't make benchmark test at least for the last 8-9 months...
So I took a try and the results was variable between 15000 and 19700 depending on rom and kernel whether with stock clock or overclocked....anyway till now seems ok
But to see in the global ranking some guys having 24000+ as a result whereas with all roms I tested never crossed the 20000 thats really annoyed
Did any one of you had that much result I mean over 24000???
If yes at which rom and wich kernel....or even how you got that score....just want to try how powerful will the phone be and how long will this monster battery last....
Good Day Everybody

I need some advice. I haven't downloaded the game yet because its shown to be a pain for me to download. Lol. I have played it on my iPhone 5 before I took it back to Sprint to exchange it for my S3, my question is how does it run on our stock ROM with the s4 processor? How are the graphics? My iPhone 5 ran it decently with some lag here and there but nothing unbearable. How's it run on our device? Please don't flame me for this, I just don't want to waste my time trying to find WiFi to download it if its not gonna be worth it.

After my Real Racing 3 question is asked we can turn this into a gameplay thread for how all games play on our phone and what ROM and kernel were running. I know there's a thread for "what are we playing" but I feel this one can be pretty informant as well.

Im on stock rooted mb1 and stock kernal, runs great but game sucks if your not using the version with unlimited gold. Dont ask me where to find it.
Peace
Haha like I said, I played it on the iPhone 5 on release day and loved it, played it for 4 hours straight and got 8 cars and stayed around 50 gold, that's without IAP purchases. But are you saying the graphics and gameplay are good? And the unlimited gold version is intriguing. Haha

I have it on both my gs3 and my ipad (4th gen). It runs smoother on my s3 but the gfx are noticeably lower than on the ipad 4. Refection's on the cars and the mirrors inside the car are just dont look the same at all but nonetheless the game still looks good. Its the same way with need for speed most wanted. I'm running slim bean with lean kernel.
I have noticed tha with Need For Speed. I also noticed when I flash kt kernel the gfx are still low, BUT when I raise the clock speed to over 1.6ghz the gfx are the same as the ipad 4th gen. How can overclocking the CPU help gfx out? I tested it on multiple roms including stock and everytime I over clock it (the cpu not gpu) the game has amazing gfx...the cpu shouldn't do that should it?

The game probably automatically checks the CPU speed and steps up (or down) the graphics based on what it reads. It's actually a really good idea for them to do this, as they can scale down graphics for older machines and can make the game playable.
I wonder if Real Racing sites this too? I noticed Asphalt 7 MIGHT do it. .. it has real time reflections on the cars but i haven't played it on an over clock cpu
