Sending files other than pictures and videos in Gmail - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III

Hello,
I am trying to send files other than pictures and videos in Gmail 4.2, but it is not working. Are there any other apps or workaround to where I can get this to work?
Thank you in advance.

What do you mean it's not working? Are you given an error or anything? And you could just upload the file to Dropbox, or another service similar to it, and send the direct link.

Says it cannot send attachment.

What type of file are you trying to send? Also, is it possible for you to just upload the file and send them the link?

Ok found a solution by chance.
Make a text file in which all the numbers are comma separated like 9654446649, 6494949619, 94694913992, 9919664691
These are random numbers. Then copy them and paste it I recipient section. And you are done. Not gonna directly work but still.
this is SPARTAAA

what about Tasker? it's an excellent general toolbox of stuff and I'm fairly certain you can read in text files and then do stuff with it

Cameraace?

Is anyone using Cameraace? It's an awesome camera app but I get a "media not supported" error when sending a pic from it. I emailed the developers and they have not heard of the issue so it's either just me or just with the note 2. Can anyone check if they are able to share pics through the messaging app?

Only way I could send a pic from that all is to change the file extension to jpeg.
Were you able to change it in the app or did you have to go to the pic after it was saved?

See attached. Clear cache and data, too.

I cant even send a picture per email attachments or mms.
Thank you for your help

Click through the menus to the gallery app and clear defaults, cache, and data. Actually, before you clear the data, let's look for your photos.

Normally gallery doesn't show your external sd card photos. Try to use quickpic from the play store that should work to attach your pictures.

i used the one you posted in the link but the picture messages dont work
the one youre using do the pic messages work? if they do please let me know thanks ALOT
The one I linked is actually a newer version of the one I had. I'm using the one from the link now, and it works flawlessly for me, including picture messaging.
Thread for the actual mod
On the original version, you had to click view next to the picture, then go back before sending it or it would crash.

yeah i noticed that, if i would just try and send it, it would crash, if i view the picture first and then send it it would work how weird.
what about receiving pic messages? will i receive them or will it crash?

I've been able to receive them fine, even on the older version. But with the one that's posted up there now, I don't have to use the view workaround at all.
