Ok found a solution by chance.
Make a text file in which all the numbers are comma separated like 9654446649, 6494949619, 94694913992, 9919664691
These are random numbers. Then copy them and paste it I recipient section. And you are done. Not gonna directly work but still.
this is SPARTAAA

what about Tasker? it's an excellent general toolbox of stuff and I'm fairly certain you can read in text files and then do stuff with it

What Rom are you on?
If your on a sense based Rom, go to your messages, press menu, settings, general, click conversation mode. Hope this helps.

And that's why I use GO SMS over the stock message app. Haven't had this problem ever again.

Send emojis as regular SMS (not as MMS)

Can anyone make the stock messaging app not convert the message into MMS when including emojis? Like GoSMS Pro and other 3rd party messaging apps? I really like the stock apps because they look professional (imo).

I wish someone could do this because that's my ONLY annoyance with the phone.

Or like in my other topic, make this https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B-z3zMhR8cDkMDR2YkN3bk8yMlk/edit?usp=sharing version of UniMessagebin support XXHDPI resolution so the fonts are smaller and more private. This one I found in a Thai forum and it is even able to register, block and auto-delete mesages from your choice of spam numbers. It does NOT autoconvert to MMS when including emojicons. But if this version was modded, I think the G Pro UniMessagebin can also be modded. :fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:
try Ninja sms, it has emoji, that;s what i use for smiley faces

Download the linked file and replace the unimessagebin.apk in system/app and fix permissions, reboot and profit.

You can also type the equivalent symbols in the regular messages for example : -) would be a smiley.

SMS related query

Hello,
I recently bought a new Galaxy Note II and I am very much happy with device.
The only issue is that whenever I receive any spam sms, the sender is always stored in my inbox. I can delete those spam sms but not the sender. I tried every possible way to remove the sender but they are still in my inbox.
Can anyone help me out to get rid of those senders as it is too irritating to see those senders name only in my inbox.
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda app-developers app
Have you tried hard pressing the message in your inbox, then registering as spam and deleting thread?
Sent from my GT-N7105 using xda app-developers app
I did but it says invalid phone number.
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda app-developers app
The spam sms senders somehow stayed in my inbox. I don't know how to remove.
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda app-developers app
Sorry mate I'm out of ideas. When I wanna delete it I just delete the thread.
Sent from my GT-N7105 using xda app-developers app
Even I can delete the thread but the senders name just stays in my inbox.
Anyone has any idea?? This is so bugging me :banghead:

[Q] group messages

So I can send group messages just fine but when people text me back it gets text back into individual messages not as a group response but this only happens to me. Is there anyway to fix that ?
Sent from my SM-N900T using xda app-developers app
Make sure the option for group messaging is ticked on your messaging settings.

I don't have a problem sending messages to multiple people its when they respond that I get the texts individually and not in the group chat I started.
Sent from my SM-N900T using xda app-developers app
Understood. But you have to make sure that the option is ticked to receive them in the group as well.

Is it possible the ones responding to you are using Android and do not have group text capabilities?

Sending files other than pictures and videos in Gmail

Hello,
I am trying to send files other than pictures and videos in Gmail 4.2, but it is not working. Are there any other apps or workaround to where I can get this to work?
Thank you in advance.
Sent from my SPH-L710 using xda app-developers app
What do you mean it's not working? Are you given an error or anything? And you could just upload the file to Dropbox, or another service similar to it, and send the direct link.
Says it cannot send attachment.

What type of file are you trying to send? Also, is it possible for you to just upload the file and send them the link?
