i used the one you posted in the link but the picture messages dont work
the one youre using do the pic messages work? if they do please let me know thanks ALOT
The one I linked is actually a newer version of the one I had. I'm using the one from the link now, and it works flawlessly for me, including picture messaging.
Thread for the actual mod
On the original version, you had to click view next to the picture, then go back before sending it or it would crash.

yeah i noticed that, if i would just try and send it, it would crash, if i view the picture first and then send it it would work how weird.
what about receiving pic messages? will i receive them or will it crash?

I've been able to receive them fine, even on the older version. But with the one that's posted up there now, I don't have to use the view workaround at all.

I had to revert to stock ics because all the ics roms didn't seen to fully work 100%. My question was is there anyway someone can make the aokp SMS an actual app? Because with the emoji and the actual ics look I loved it. So with permission from whitehawkx if some one could do that this would be awesome.

do you mean when sending? if you do then go into settings and it lets you transfom a large message into mms which let the receiver receive it all in one...
If you mean when you receive it ... then let me know when you find out..

What? Don't understand your statement.
I know it's not much of a test but I sent myself a video mms and it worked fine.
Edit: BTW, if you're trying to send a camera pic, I'm sure there is still some size limitations in place.
And if it's not app related, certainly the Carrier will block/resize or limit mms sizes as well.
I can verify one thing that's wonky. If you click on your own contact picture in messaging, where it would take you to the respective field IN contacts, alas hangs up for a mo', then it force closes instead (contacts), and kicks you out of the message thread.

Also, I can verify pictures send for me. I'm on credo mobile, but carrier shouldn't matter for this mod.
EDIT: pictures also coming in successfully =)
Also, probably because it IS AOSP messaging, neither counter on message icon works nor message notifier on lock screen. Though I'm not sure if it's enabled with Ripple as I have it off today.

An idea that is developed and put into action is more important than an idea that exists only as an idea...
I've recently installed CyanongenMod 10.1.2 on my friend's Samsung Galaxy S III (T-Mobile), and ever since then he can't send or receive MMS messages (picture messages, video messages, etc). I don't know if this is an issue with all AOSP ROMs or just CM, but he could send MMS messages just fine before I installed it. Anyone know what the problem could be? Thanks!

Found these two threads that have the Galaxy S5 apps for whoever wants them. I thought i would make a thread in our T-mobile sections since these are on a different phones thread. I take no credit for this just wanted to share with you guys.
1. this is the international note 3 thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2677686
2. this is the note 2 thread and it has few more apps so it should work for our phones still http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2690997
Thanks. Grabbed them all from the Note 2 thread. Let's see how these look.

I kept getting FC when using this app because you have to flash the framework as well and wicked rom has some stuff modded in it so it wont work. probably would work on stock rom though.

I noticed on the stock S Voice I can wake it up from lock screen by saying Hi Galaxy. On the S5 S Voice it's cute in that it allows me to change the greeting to use, but I don't see any option to enable lock screen wake up and it definitely doesn't work with me just talking to a locked phone :silly:
