Try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2507403
tried that but it says signature verification failed
Look at this tread to return to stock recovery and to get out of softbrick.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2545009
tried that and i get this "ERROR: Failed to access device. libusb error: -12" it did detect device
How did you soft brick in the first place bud? The answer to your problems lies within the problem itself.

Great question chuko. I had a soft boot loop too. I did a full wipe including the dalvik, system, and cache then flashed ROM again. Also try taking out your battery for about twenty seconds then let it boot up. Just let the boot loop do its thing for about five minutes and see if it corrects itself.

I have Galaxy S3 on which I have CyanogenMod. I was on vacation in Poland last summer and I got there my Rogers Galaxy S3 phone unlocked and polish language CyanogenMod ver 10.0 was installed . It worked fine since. Recently, I installed few game for my grandson. Right after I found that it took longer time to boot a phone. Then I started to get a message after rebooting, "System process didn't start" with option to click "Wait" or "OK". When I clicked OK phone was slowly booting and finally was fully operational. Every new reboot took longer and longer with the same message, "system process didn't start" click "wait" or "ok".
Finally it stopped to boot. When I power on a phone it starts booting and get to same message as before. I click "wait" and nothing happen, or I click "ok" and still nothing happen. Then phone reboots itself and keep doing it.... Doesn't boot anymore to application.
What I can try to do to fix it? I am pretty new to this "rooting" "Odin'...etc so if you have an advice please communicate it as simply ans possible.
Any help appreciated
Thank you
Boot into recovery and flash a newversion or same version of CM 10 or CM10.1 (Either one is good or you could pick a whole new ROM up to you). Make sure you follow the instruction of the ROMs thread for how to install. To get to recovery you hold the volume up + home button + power untill it boots to recovery and from there follow ROM instructions.

Before you install any ROM be sure to do a factory/reset, wipe dalvik cache, wipe cache partition and format system, and don't worry about doing everything twice, especially if you are coming from a TW ROM and going to a CM type ROM. If you don't start off with a clean slate you may have some "ghosts" left over.

How I can do factory reset if I can't boot to anything except a download mode? Do I need to install new ROM first and then do factory reset or there is other way to get to factory reset option without loading new ROM?

Possible Fix
1. Go here - > http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1968625 -> install the correct stock firmware for your carrier
2. Go here -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1722686 -> download ODIN.. and READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!!!
3. Use ODIN to put the STOCK ROM back onto your phone. It takes a little while to do it.. and first boot can take a while as well.
4. Go here -> http://autoroot.chainfire.eu/#odin -> download the correct version of CF autoroot for your phone
5. Use ODIN to install CF auto root the same way you installed the STOCK ROM
6. Go to the google play store and download ROM manager
7 - In ROM manager Installed CWM recovery
8-> enjoy a rooted phone and flash custom roms if you like!
I was on a clean full wipe Omega v19 ROM and flashed omegadroid's "Project_Note3_mod_PackageV2" but the new Note3 apps were not stable enough.
I found another developer playing with Note3 features and in my endless wisdom I decided to flash "Note_3_features_for_Note_2_MK4_v2_(E-Team)" on top of the existing mess :good:...... 320 apps were updated and optimized.
After the reboot I'm now stuck on Samsung Logo (waited 30+ mins).
When I enter recovery mode CWM 6.0.3.1 I get stuck on "formatting /data" while trying a full wipe.
Only battery removal gets me out of it
I've been googling and reading on XDA, there are many tips and hints but no solution.
- restore EFS? (I have of course a backup from sometime last year)
- reroot?
- reflash CWM?
- flash stock ROM (fear of getting a Knox bootloader stops me here...)
- flash custom ROM again (without doing a full wipe?)
please help... I don't want to make things worse . I have access to recovery mode and bootloader mode, but not sure on the order in which to do things now...
EDIT: I tried a "wipe cache" in recovery and a then new install with the same custom ROM "Omega v19 again. Everything seems fine in the beginning. As soon as it starts installing it stays at "Installing 0%". After about a minute a reboot and then stuck on Samsung logo again.

Flashed PhilZ Touch 6 (CWM base version v6.0.4.5).
new recovery starts fine. same result though: stuck on "Formatting /data"
funny thing though with PhilZ: while "stuck on formatting /data" the screen and bottom icons react when I press them (light up and short vibration, mobil is therefore not really "stuck").
after about a minute: reboot, and then stuck on Samsung logo.
EDIT: From recovery menu, trying a "format /data" (if I can't wipe it, perhaps it needs a clean format). Following text appears:
E. unknown volume for path [/sd-ext]
E. unknown volume for path [/sd-ext]
Formatting /data...
and after a minute, again a reboot and stuck on Samsung logo.
stuck again...

tnx. flashed PhilZ 5.15.0 (combining post 2 and 6, apologies to shhbz for not pickling up on the version number)
result is the same: again stuck on "formatting /data"
and about a minute later a reboot followed by the samsung logo.
also removed SD and SIM card in an attempt to solve the problem. no difference whatsoever.
EDIT: system information from PhilZ:
System size: 2016 MB
Free: 1984 MB
Data Size: 10709MB
Free: 6091 MB
SDCard Size: -1 MB
Free: -1 MB
Surely the "-1 MB" is not good...
I managed to start my phone again, but I have not really been able to find the reason. This is what I did: (hope it can help others)
In an attempt to get things working again, I flashed a totally different ROM.
" [N7100 MK4][1Dec]Dr.Ketan's Custom ROM V6 Deodexed|Prerooted|Note3 Fs"
Of course without a "full wipe" in recovery (since this does not work, see post #1), and I only performed a "wipe cache". Installation went fine. My phone was before stuck at the first Samsung logo at the top of the screen with model number "GT-N7100". After a few seconds, the boot animation started (blue Samsung logo in the middle of the screen and "breathing" blue LED).
My Note2 starts again after more than a day of nothing! There are some crashes which is the result of changing ROM/ without full wipe. So I tried a factory reset from within this ROM. After reboot it entered recovery mode and presented the choice to "fix root", which I answered "No" (as far as I know, answering "yes" results in a lost root). Now wait SEVERAL MINUTES when presented with the Samsung boot animation (blue samsung logo with breathing LED), and you should get the familar "welcome" screen where you select langage etc.
SOLVED
problem is solved with help from this thread and a LOT og googling and reading in the community. thank you!!
Flashing Dr. Ketan's ROM and performing a "Settings/Backup and Restore/Factory reset" from hos ROM did the trick.
I am still unsure why the "/data" failed. It seemed to mount fine, but format or wipe got stuck.
To test, I then tried (of course) a reboot to recovery: "wipe cache" worked fine, and "full wipe" now also works fine. Seems that his ROM restored the structure (partition layout?) of the internal memory.:good: Now I have to install it again
On omega 19 also. Same problem. Fixed by flashing philz touch by odin.
My problem started when I tried to install a diferent rom...same stuff suck on formatting. After a few mins it would restart in recovery by itself. I tried to install TWRP but it went into "recovery bootloop" it started the TWRP blue image and it just kept turning of and on.
I also reseted settings from inside the rom.

have seen that many times. I could never figure that out. I tried going through the menus quickly, I tried going slowly. No difference. Remove battery and try again and again and again, and sometimes you get to the end and it starts installation. Does not make sense but works. It must be an internal Aroma thing. It is only during pre-installation this can happen, as soon as the actual installation starts it will continue.

Hi, I've managed to use Odin to install the bell with root image, phone now working with I747MVLUEMK5..downloaded clockworkmod recovery manager and used the att recovery image. Downloaded custom Roms, factory reset the phone, wiped cache and dalvik then installed the custom ROM. It installed properly but when I reboot, it won't turn on, I have to do the download mode to recover it back using the Odin. Tried different custom ROM and I made sure they are for this image MVLUEMK5... But same result, it won't boot up... Help...did I miss a step?
Copy a ROM to your SD card, install a custom recovery (I prefer CWM), boot into recovery, wipe cache, Dalvik, data, and system, install the custom ROM, reboot the phone.
Every 4.4.2 ROM I have tried (Valudus, Cyanfox, CM11) will boot with a stock 4.1.2 bootloader or newer so you should be fine.
Do you have any warranty left on your phone? Does your phone have Knox installed?

Too much work for me. There is no need to have root before installing a custom ROM.
Do this:
Use Odin to install Philz Touch Recovery from here (use the tar version in PDA, do not check auto reboot): http://goo.im/devs/philz_touch/CWM_Advanced_Edition/d2att
Once it flashes and you see Reset in the windows, pull the battery, disconnect the phone from computer, boot into recovery, wipe cache, dalvik, system, data, flash rom, reboot.
Thanks for the help...I'll try this tonight...when you say pull the battery, you mean literally take the battery out of the phone? Would it boot to recovery when I put the battery back? or will it normally boot then I would reboot to recovery.
Thanks!

Most of the 4.3 roms take a long time at the first boot once you flash it (when I flashed S3Rx it took 3 minutes 32 seconds, I timed it because most people say I waited a long time but have no recollection of how much time) it will stay at one of the boot image screens for several minutes then it should vibrate once the blue led should illuminate and then it will finish booting.
If the wait is too much for you turn it on, set it down, walk away, find something to do, 10 minutes later come back, if it hasn't booted now make sure you followed all the instructions correctly and flashed the right stuff for the phone model you have.

Can U be more elaborative on the procedure u have followed as u r unable to post the ink. If u have used Odin to flash the ROM I suggest you to repeat the process as a last resort. Before doing that try the following:-
1. Once the Odin gives u the message Passed! phone will reboot automatically, If u have checked Auto-reboot option then Samsung Boot Animation appears, Now remove the battery, wait at least 10-15 seconds before re-inserting the Battery back.
2. Now go into the recovery mode and select 'Wipe data/Factory Reset'
3. Then Wipe Cache. ---> Then Go to advanced and Select 'Wipe Dalvik Cache" --> Now Select Reboot into Recovery Option.
4. Now select 'Reboot System Now' option.
5. It will take some time, wait at-least 10-15 mins minimum.
If the phone doesn't boot-up re-flash and report in the forum.
All the best.
I followed the instructions given ia a tutorial from androidxda to downgrade my phone. if you google it you will find iti very easily. I used odin 3.09 to do it and the stock rom 4.1.2 for my phone and my country given from xda. When odin gives me the PASSED sign the phone tries to reboot and gets stuck in boot loop. The phone is not rooted. I tried removing the battery and wiping cache, it didn't work. Then i tried removing the battery once again and do a hard reset ( wipe data/factory reset) it didn't work either. I did all the above several times and then i tried flashing the rom again with odin. It didn't work.

Ok. I guess u have downloaded the firmware from XDA links uploaded by users. Try downloading the firmware from here http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/3/?download=25335 as they are more authentic. Choose the version and country correctly.

I hope u have followed the procedure given in the above link. It's very good and worked for me. If u r confident that the firmware which u possess is without any errors (Note: errors may occur while downloading & parsing the package as the download file size is HUGE). Reflash.
Yes, i followed the procedure given in the link you posted above step by step...I flashed the rom once again using stock rom from sammobile for my model and country. The phone is still stuck in boot screen...
Perform these additional steps over & above Factory Reset-->Wipe Cache-->Wipe Dalvik Cache-->Goto Mounts & Storage-->format Data --> format System. Reboot into Recovery then System Reboot. Good luck.?

The phone IS NOT rooted. There is no wipe Dalvik cache option. There is wipe cache partition and it doesn't work (4.2.2). When i try to whipe cache partition the phone reboots on its own without performing the action. Factory reset option works, the phone returns to recovery menu, i select reboot and i get stuck in boot screen again
FIX ANDROID BOOT LOOP ISSUES ON STOCK ANDROID
Step 1. Remove the battery from the device and wait for 30 seconds and then put the battery again on your device. If your phone doesn’t has the remove bale battery like Nexus 4, then power down the phone and keep it powered off for 5 minutes. This will turn off your device permanently.
Step 2. After that Boot your device in to Recovey Mode. Samsung Users use Volume Up+ Home + Power keys. If you have the other Android device then do a Google search how to enter in recovery mode.
Step 3. Once your android device is in Recovery Mode, Go to the “wipe cache partition” option and select it.
Step 4. After that go back to the recovery main menu and reboot the device by “reboot system now” option.
Step 5. If the device again stuck on Android Boot Loop pull out the battery again and repeat the above steps. This time also “wipe data/factory reset” and then reboot device.
Now your device will come out of the Android Boot Loop and at the first time the device will take some time to reboot.
FIX ANDROID BOOT LOOP ISSUES ON ROOTED WITH CWM RECOVERY ANDROID
Step 1. Follow the Above guide (Fix Android Boot loop issues on Stock Android) Step 1 and Step 2 on your device.
Step 2. Once your Rooted device on recovery mode, go to the Go to “Advanced” and Choose “Wipe dalvik-cache”. After that go to “Mounts & Storage” and choose “Wipe /cache”. In the end go to the main menu of recovery and Reboot your phone.
Now the Android Boot Loop should be gone now. If it still persists, do the following on your device. Go to “Mounts & Storage” and Choose “Wipe /data” after that Choose “Wipe /cache” and now reboot your phone.
Now the phone should reboot normally. And the Android loop problem is solved on your device.
Please comment if any queries.

My Micromax android one marshmallow, april security updated, has given way to bootloop, with marshmallow boot screen continuing. Factory reset and cache wiping through stock recovery didn't helped as well.

Have you considered rooting your phone?
See you have to do it step by step
First format dalvik-cache
Then wipe cache partition
Then factory data reset and then boot it normally
If it takes more than 15 min then tell me
And see to it if your mobiles try to read the app I mean optimize them.

No it isn't possible. Every phone has a recovery either a stock once or a custom. Without recovery the photo isn't possible to be operated even.
